I cant say enough good things about DC Windows. I hired them based on their reviews and was not disappointed. The owner is very responsive, the crew was on time and very professional, and their pricing is very fair.. They did a fantastic job on windows that hadnt been cleaned in eons on an old building. You could barely see through the old 1920s windows and storm covers. They brought them all back to a clean shine, they look brand new and sparkle. Used special extension pole to reach third floor windows to which ladder access was blocked by trees. Very careful not to allow water to pool in window well so as to prevent leaking into the wall. Great service for older houses/windows. They were extremely careful and considerate!!

The communication was friendly and prompt, and the crew was so friendly and professional! They coordinated internally and externally to ensure not a single spot was missed on my windows. Hiring DC Windows to clean the original windows of my historic 180+ y.o. Capitol Hill home was one of the smartest things Ive ever done. Highly recommend DC Windows. Used them for the first time along with four of my neighbors in our condo building. The whole process of on-site estimating, scheduling as well as the cleaning itself was smart, prompt and thorough. They went beyond cleaning the windows to include dusting and cleaning the window sills and ledges in the area where we have windows that are over 20 feet high.

David stepped in (cue superhero music) when I was desperate. We were listing our house the next day and the showpiece of the house was a sunroom with a 40 wall of windows. He rearranged his weekend schedule to accommodate me. Seamless experience from phone call to payment and that never happens to me. I have high standards -- but will always tip well if the work exceeds expectations, which it most definitely did.Impeccable work and work ethic and outstanding customer service, which is a crucial and, sadly, often-neglected art. David mentioned he formerly worked in the hospitality industry and it shows brilliantly. On top of it all, hes a nice, personable guy. HIghly recommend!

Amazing. Amazing. Service. Prompt response and professional technicians. We are looking at the windows at this very moment and cannot see the glass, its the most surreal thing. I doubt they have been this clean since the day they were installed 100 years ago. I had no idea how dirty they really were. I thought this was a bit of a splurge and that if I just found the time and courage to get on that ladder, I could do it, silly me. Dont even think twice - call DC WINDOWS! These were two professionals with full gear, proper tools, proper cleaning liquids, and experience. It took them more than 4 hours of solid hard work! They cleaned the windows, the triple pane storm windows, the skylights.. and I am in absolute shock. It is gorgeous. You must hire them and you will be so very, very pleased.

I don’t generally write reviews but after meeting and working with David at DC Windows, I wanted others to hear firsthand how outstanding the workmanship and experience was for me.I live in a house built in the 1950s with mostly original windows which were supplemented at some point with the installation of storm windows. I had not cleaned the windows since moving in 10 years ago, and it was likely that the previous owners didn’t either based on a technical issue associated with window size that David uncovered when he came to the house to inspect and quote. I’ll mention here that I had called several window cleaning companies and most gave me a quote over the phone/via email without even seeing the house, which makes me question how they would have dealt with the technical problem upon arrival other than refusing the job or requoting me at much higher cost.You can tell in speaking to David that he cares deeply about and takes pride in his work. In fact, he initially declined the job because all 100% of my windows wouldn’t be “perfect”, and he took the time to show me and explain the problem. However, after some discussion about what my goals were, he agreed to do the work. He told me which windows would be perfect and which ones, due to the technical reason, could not be. And we agreed that if after cleaning one or two of the problematic windows it wasn’t making much of a visual difference, he wouldn’t go ahead and clean all of them. That way, I wouldn’t be paying for time and labor to no end. His honestly is refreshing and appreciated.I had over 90 window panes to clean and the work could not be completed in one afternoon. However because of a deadline, I needed the work to be completed the following day. David had pre-existing appointments, but rather than telling me “no”, he offered to come at 6:30am the next day in order to complete the job. Wow.Several hours into the second day, David called me to tell me about a leak he noticed in my basement. I was at work and couldn’t leave immediately to deal with the problem. Via phone, David took the time (and he wasn’t getting paid by the hour) to walk me through what he could see, and he texted me photos and videos in real time, which was enough for us to together diagnose the likely source and for me to call the appropriate service person to come fix the problem that afternoon. Clearly this was not his issue to deal with, and he didn’t have to help me, but he did so without hesitation.Getting back to the windows themselves – amazing. We have storm windows, screens, decorative wood dividers to create window panes, and everything inside and outside was crystal clear, clean and yes, perfect. And the windows with the technical problem were close to perfect; unless you knew about the problem and were studying and comparing windows, you probably wouldn’t even notice. We couldn’t be more pleased with the work, which was of the highest quality. But equally outstanding is David’s customer service, which goes above and beyond what is typically seen in the service industry these days.
