I love working with At Your Service! Their office team is amazing and always fills my staffing needs as soon as I put my request in. All of the staff that they send over to work my events are always so helpful, hard working, on time, and dressed up to my expectations . I could not imagine working with any other company. Thanks to their team I always have successful events :)
I just went there today and I felt the weight of financial instability lift off my shoulders. Everybody there was so friendly and seemed eager to help me. I look forward to a brighter and better future with them. I know I’m in good hands here.
Great Staff! Very friendly, and respectful. The shift ran smoothly, without any mishaps, the team captain were organized, and exhibited excellent leadership skills. Overall, I absolutely love this company!
I thought this was an awesome place to work but i was wrong not professional at all i just found out i no longer worked for thos company and no one called to expressed yjis ive been in hospital since Christmas and found out later thst i was no longer eith this company no calls or letters no reason this isnt a company this is an unorganized business
Recently got to work with this company for an event, everything was awesome! The staff was super friendly and professional, everything went smoothly, and it was overall a great experience. Would definitely recommend using this company for all of your event needs!
I used this company for a recent event. Everything was a 10/10. Amy specifically made everything go very easy and smooth. I will definitely be recommending At Your Service Staffing to all of my friends and family!
Upon starting my employment with AYS I was extremely excited and adored both Emily and Allison. Almost immediately there were small inconsistency but I moved pass this and continued to work for AYS. I followed everything respectfully and was willing to take shifts upon my availability, many clients requested me back because of my consistent and professional work ethic. Ive now had a change in my feelings due to managers being rude, lack of empathy, unprofessional tact, harshly and consistenly shutting you down when you need assistance. I was put on hiatus when I had to go get treatment for an asthma attack and had doctors notice as well and didnt know this until when I tried go on schedule. Once again I was told something strange just recently and asked for an explanation by email and no response. Termination without any written or verbal communication. I would like to speak with the owner.
If you want to earn extra cash and need flexibility, this is a good gig. The office staff work really hard to set you up for success and genuinely care about supporting you while maintaing good relationship with the client. Id give it more stars if I made a higher hourly wage but then again I was a server/bartender in NYC...either way, its consistent $$ and AYS is a good company!
Prompt and courteous service. Everyone answered any and all questions I had with no issues. Would definitely recommend!
I Am.still excited to give this company a try, I came to this interview last week . My appointment was at 12pm I arrived at 11:50 signed in and went upstairs. A hour goes by Im still waiting to be seen so I go ask the desk that upstairs. They all kept saying someone will.come down 30 more mins went by still didnt get seen . I went to ask again they told me no staff was there I can reschedule. I was hurt I missed my interviews for other companies .
I loved working the events, but that ended quickly. The worst group of managers you will ever meet. Casey is very rude and inhumane for no reason. They put me at hiatus without informing me or providing an accurate reason why. When I called to see why I haven’t been seeing shifts, i tell Casey and her response was “so you decided to wait 2 weeks” as if I would’ve just instantly known I would be on hiatus for a shift I never picked up; and that I would have to reapply. I emailed DcBooking the screenshots with evidence of me attending any shift i picked up, and not missing any, but Casey is just completely disregarding it. I am a college student who takes summer courses as well, so yes, I waited 2 weeks because I didn’t know. Emily told me herself that a manager would let me know when I was put on hiatus, but I received no notice from anyone. WRONGFUL TERMINATION is what AYS DC is clearly and unfairly trying to do.
AYS is responsive, effective, and professional. We couldnt ask for a better partner to keep our events staffed. Many thanks.
I dont normally write reviews but this needed to be done. While this company seemed great to work for initially it turned out to be a horrible employee experience. I was working with Allison while trying to get more information about my tax forms and she was extremely rude and dismissive. She would talk over me when I was simply explaining to her my concerns and she had a horrible tone and was simply awful to speak to. She had absolutely no interest in listening to what I had to say and was so rude to me that I simply stated that I no longer wanted to work for them and that I did not appreciate her horrible attitude. This company seemed to not care for their employees and are only concerned about their clientele. Allison was extremely rude, unprofessional, dense and lacked empathy. I was looking forward to working with this company but I refuse to work for a company that hires inconsiderate and intolerable management. If you are still considering working here try your best to avoid Allison.
Friendly and super helpful staff! 10/10 would recommend
AYS is a good place to work, I like working because of their flexible work shifts.
Miriam was very unprofessional. Forgot my interview time. After waiting 15 min I decided to call. She had the nerve to ask me what time my interview was, and without apologizing, said she would be down in 10 MORE minutes. After waiting about 15 additional minutes. I walked out. She NEVER called to see where I was. I sent a lengthy email on her lack of customer service and unprofessionalism.Of course I never got a reply. How rude and ignorant. A complete disregard for my time. If this is an okay company, I will never know.
I absolutely adore AYS DC. As a company in the Nations Capitol run by majority women, they do their best to ensure that all of their employees are well taken care of. If you enjoy traveling, with AYS DC you get the unlimited opportunities to travel all over the DMV Area, and have exclusive invites to the cities swankiest soirees and events (because youre working there). Have a hankering for duck on a Tuesday or fillet mignon on a Friday? With AYS DC, many of the events serve the staff once its all over so you get to sample various types of 5 star cuisines. Plus if youve never had the chance to learn which fork or knife to eat with, you get real life dining etiquette experience at every venue. Not to mention that you get to make your own schedule. So if you enjoy working with top notch clients and professionals, serving 5 star meals, and working around your schedule, AYS DC is the perfect job for you. Cons, some events may not always be Metro accessible, but thank goodness for carpools & Ubers.
I agree this is a horrible company to work for I had the same problem with allison and another employee in regards to my tax form as they were rude to me and tried to shut it down regarding w4 in Virginia they want employyees to fill out a VA W4 form even if they live in DC also there office is located in DC and they are still claiming VA also they get upset if you dont click on a assigmment even though in the un paid oreintation they tell you.they will not hold it agaimst you. I will never work for this company ever again all of them are rude
