He was there to offer wisdom and to be a level-headed third-party presence when we needed him to be. He was appropriately critical of properties that we toured and helped us notice flaws or shoddy renovations that we had missed. When he thought a house was not worth it, he was frank with us, but always stressed that the choice was always ours. He was equally as honest when the houses were clearly very good properties. It always felt like he was in our corner, and he was a calming voice when we lost bids or were signing the closing documents. When it came time to close, Virginia and the rest of the team at Fulcrum were very detailed, professional, and responsive. They provided us clear instructions and next steps and the closing process went as smoothly as it could.

Everyone warned me that buying a home would be one of the most stressful experiences of my life, so you can imagine how relieved, surprised, and impressed I was that thanks to the amazing efforts of Julie Wannamaker and her team the hardest part ended up being deciding on paint colors!This was my first home purchase and thus my first time using a buyers agent, but I did do a lot of research about what to look for in a good agent. Julie checked all of those boxes and I am still thanking my lucky stars that I met her at an open house and had her support during my purchase. She was first and foremost an advocate for my interests: I was looking at property in multi-family complexes, which means condo associations, bylaws, and lots and lots of building rules.
