I appreciated the employees. They did a nice job and were knowledgeable. I was shocked at the price of the oil change though. I looked online and couldn’t find pricing. When I got there, I had 2 choices, one over $60 and one over $80. I won’t be going back because I can get better prices at dealerships.

Take 5 in Washington lives up to the name! Can take 5-10 mins out of my day and get my oil changed! I was immediately greeted with an ice cold bottled water and my daughter was given a juice box and fruit snack! Austin and Chris were who took care of us and they spoke to me...not AT me! They made sure I knew what was going on and not once did they try to shove an air filter replacement or a serpentine belt change at me like most Oil and Lube places will!! If you want to be treated like family and with the utmost respect take your automobile to Take 5 in Washington. You will be taken care of!! Thank you Take 5 and thank you Austin and Chris!! Customer for life!

Completely disgusted by how we were treated by this establishment. Brought my car in to get a routine oil change, all was well until I left and didn’t even make it home before my car began to overheat and was stuck on the side of the road. Was finally able to pull over and look at the engine and noticed a piece in my engine that had been broken, which cause the car to break down. I immediately called the store, which they sent someone to us to take pictures and said they would get back to us when the manager was in (never offering to tow or fix the issue). We had to pay to have the car fixed ourself and waited for someone to call us back. We called every day for 5 days and was continually told we would be called back once the manager was available. Eventually after the 6th day, we called and were told the manager looked at the picture, dismissed it as a coincidence and would not be reimbursing us for having to have the car fixed. They still have never called us or even spoke to us about the situation before making a decision. They will not take responsibility when they mess up, and good luck getting a hold of “management” as I use the term very loosely.

Furthermore I called you customer service to report my experience and have yet to have anyone call me back! Waited 35 mins guy comes out to my van 4 times finally in spot guys says u have to go 15 mins away we dont have your oil filter really 35 mins later I will never go to Washington or pekin ever again rude period never go here anyone rude

Jason was very informative on my visit on 12/5/2020. I had a lot of questions since it was my first time coming to them for oil change. He explained everything perfectly and they were super fast and even made sure I knew my air filter was dirty, so I could get a new one. Topped off all my fluids and did my tire pressure . Everything I needed done got done in less than 15 minutes. The other mechanics were great too! I had a good experience and it was pretty much everything you could want from a take 5. :) definitely will return here ! Please give those mechanics at the Washington, IL take 5 a good verbal appreciation because they deserve it

Demetries was a very professional and polite worker. He was thorough and made sure my experience was pleasant. I am always impressed with this place and have no desire to go elsewhere for my high mileage oil changes. The coupons are a bonus too!

Theyre a bit pricey, but the service is fast (in and out under ten minutes) and the technicians are polite, always answering any questions I have. Would recommend!

They answer any questions you have, try to upsell and make sure you know and understand all of your otions. They are good salesmen. They are very friendly and respectful. Showed up at 440 pm and turned away with no line because they close at 5 🙄. Manager is doing a great job running the business.

I give Take 5 zero stars if could. They charged my wife almost double what they charge me for the same car services. When called company they looked up the receipts from the transaction and couldnt explain why she was charged so much more. They did offer a free oil change voucher but I will not deal with a company that takes advantage of woman!

Wow! I cant say enough good about this place!!! Ive been twice and my husband has been a few times as well. They are insanely fast, courteous, funny, professional, and overall incredible. You will pay more than you would say at the big blue chain box store,but honestly, it is more than worth the extra money. If you havent been, do your schedule a favor and pop in for the fastest oil change you have ever gotten! You will definitely leave with a smile ;)

Great spot to stop if I’m need of a oil change, will run you about 80-90 for high grade stuff.

I normally never let anyone else touch my vehicles. But I got caught on the road n had no choice so I did what I had to. Very good service and fast! Would definitely use again if needed. And it didnt rly cost much more than foin it myself, which I thought was great. Appreciate it guys

Never going anywhere else!In and out in under 10 minutes at 3 in the afternoon. Didnt even have to leave my car. Amazing drive through service! Keep up the good work guys! Puts the a-hole kids at Walmart to shame.

They charged my daughter over 80 dollars for an oil change over torqued the cap so the next person couldnt open it forcing us to come back to them but REFUSED to take the cap off. They said they will only yake it off if we pay that again. We were told after this happened to us that they do this often so you have to come back to them. They refused tomake it right or even match the other price. Disgusting

What great service!! Austin, Nathan, Connor, and Russell helped me today and did a wonderful job. They were done within 7 minutes and while they were quick they did not rush. They also had taken the time to ask if I had any questions or if there was anything else I needed. Kind people doing great work; I will be going again in the future!

They offered myself and my husband cold bottles of water. They gave our son a fruit juice box and fruit snacks. They didnt try to sell us an air filter or anything we didnt need. They gave us 20 percent off our lol change because I bought windshield wipers that I needed. They were super efficient. They were very friendly.

This is the only place Ive gone for oil change since moving here in 2018. At some point, they broke my dipstick tube, but still managed to stuff the dipstick into the manifold without the broken extension. NOW AT MY MOST RECENT VISIT, THEY REFUSE TO CHANGE MY OIL BECAUASE OF IT AND BLAME IT ON PREVIOUS MANAGEMENT.AVOID THIS PLACE.

I was granted permission to bring my own oil and filter, and arrived at your location and was directed to drive right into the bay. I was pleased with the quick and good service, both with oil change and topping off of fluids, as well as tire pressure check. I knew I was needing the tires aired up. Very Pleased with the service I received.

I was so.impressed by their efficiency and helpfulness. It was service with a smile the whole time, even though my cabin filter was a real job to get to. They gave me water and my son a juice box and fruit snacks. They even popped my hood for me. The conversation was great as well while they were working. They even gave me a ten dollar coupon. Came in for an oil change but ended up needing new wiper blades and an air filter too. They gave me a great deal, showed me what needed replacing and were not pushy about what they were recommending. I got to stay in my car and they were very polite. I will be back!

The staff was outstanding. My favorite part about this visit is how they weren’t pushy about me getting a high mileage oil change. (I know I should it’s just not in the budget often) they didn’t make me feel stupid for not doing it. They offered me and all my passengers water, they even said to come back just for a bottle of water if I wanted between oil changes.

A couple of days ago was my first time to visit the Lube Stop in Washington. I was really pleased with the service I received. I didnt even have to leave my car while the full service oil change was done. One of the techs was even nice to offer me water while I waited. Both techs who waited on me were very friendly and personable, and completed the process within a very short time frame. I have definitely found the place where I will go back each time when I need an oil change!

I went for my second oil change a couple days ago, and I was just as impressed as the first time. They were busier this time, but that did not change my experience. East Peoria location stripped the oil plug on my pan . They used an oversized plug to get oil in it, and it started dripping oil know. Just had my oil changed and the manager said he should of never done that. He also said Ill probably only have 2 or 3 changes before I will need to buy a new pan. Also that the cost was on me and Id have to take it to a full service station. They cant do that, Or an oil change for that matter . Take 5 oil change/ take 0 responsibility. Basically told sorry about your luck. Horrible service

We love this place. The staff is very professional and never tries to oversell us. We dont have to get out of the car and they bring us cold water. We make a point of timing our visits from Chicago so we can use this facility. Im certain that our car runs as well as it does because of the suggestions theyve made for our maintenance.

Since I have a lot going on and don’t have a lot of time to do my own oil changes on our vehicles, service is great and quick. I have been working on cars since I was a teen so have knowledge, but to those that don’t have that knowledge the fact they tell you and show you what they do is great. Also like the fact they work with children’s hospital for donations for them. Great experience when I go there

All of the employees did an excellent job assuring everything got done correctly. They had great communication between them and assured that all steps were being done correctly. The sales manager did a thorough job of communicating & supporting his employees and runs a efficient and safe garage here. I didn’t catch his name but he manages a good operation. Couldn’t be happier with my experience and will definitely be back.

I’m new to the area and had a fantastic experience getting my oil changed here. Very good service and good cost. Between me pulling into the parking lot, getting my oil changed, and leaving I think it was maybe 20 minutes max.

Wonderful place to get my oil change. I contemplated Wal-Mart just because it was easy until I came to Take 5 oil. They went above my expectations checking everything in my car. Even as a girl who knows NOTHING about a car they took the time to explain what they were telling me. I will probably never go any where else to get my oil changed!

I loved how fast this service was! The employees were so nice and very professional. Also, the free bottle of water was a nice added touch. Having small children, this was a wonderful service to have all of us be able to stay in the car while they changed the oil.

What a deal! You never have to leave the comfort of your vehicle as the service is completed. Very friendly and professional service.One year later: Their prices have increased greatly and have moved somewhat out of my price range. I will be looking for other options. I am no longer physically able to do the work myself, so it puts me in quite a bind.UPDATE: My daughter took her new car there for an oil change, upon my recommendation. Because it was too new they didnt have the part (I assume oil filter) on hand. Instead of one of them going to the autozone or advance auto up the street and getting the correct filter to take care of THE CUSTOMER they told her she could go get the part and bring it back. Shouldnt that be their job? I will no longer frequent this establishment nor will I EVER say another good word about them to anyone within earshot. This place has been going downhill over the last several years and during several name changes.

A great local place for an oil change. I never had to leave my car and was out within 15 minutes. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and will even accommodate your vehicle in between services, whether it be to top off fluid levels, check and add air in your tires, or even just to check the oil levels. I highly recommend!

Wow!! Getting my oil changed at The Lube Stop in Washington just gets better every time I go! The staff is courteous, thorough and gets the job done right. I drive a Dodge dually and Lube Stop had the oil, and air filters in stock. I was curious about how to check the inside tire pressure on the dually and the employees actually took the time to show me how to check them. Friendly service and employees that treat a gal right!

Best oil change Ive ever had! I have always gone to the dealership, and the last couple of times theyve taken over an hour (once it was 2 hours) to get me in and do the change. Here I never left the car and it took all of 10 minutes to be done and on my way!! The staff was extremely friendly and made my first experience with a drive through oil change a very good one! I will definitely be back!

I have been here 3 times for oil changes. The staff here is always so friendly. This last time they checked my lights, wipers, signals, tires, and refilled all my fluids. Plus, I love the cold bottle of water. The staff here listens to your needs. Helps you find what fits into your budget. Before they changed my air filter they showed me the new one. I spend less time here than I would any place else. Fast and effective service. Plus, if they have your email you get reminders to get your oil changed and you get coupons.

I have used this location for over 10 years. While the ownership & management have changed many times over the years, I have never had poor service there. In fact, I give them my repeat business and recommend them frequently to others because they are fantastic.1. You never need an appointment for the oil change. You drive up and when one of their two bays opens up, you drive into the garage. You stay in the garage while the mechanics service your vehicle. They handle your bill while you wait so once they finish, you can leave. It takes usually less than 15 minutes to complete an oil change. The few times it has taken longer, it was because they were replacing my windshield wipers. Those times, it took 20 minutes. It has been a perfect situation for when I needed an oil change and a filter change but have my small kids with me.2. They are low-pressure for sales. They will tell you anything you may need a heads up on and ask if you want to consider the purchase. Only then do they proceed to discuss the prices and timing. Love that as sometimes I am in a rush and sometimes, I am not.3. They are extremely friendly. I have yet to deal with a mechanic there that does not greet me with kindness. I have had issues such as needing a bulb replaced and while talking with them, they have taken care of that for me. The men and women at this site are just wonderful.4. They offer discounts. Between the mailer coupons and the military discount, Lube Stop is affordable. They have higher rates than if I made an appointment but the discounts bring that price way down.5. The mechanics listen to me. They listen and try to solve vehicle small problems without jumping to a costly conclusion. For example, my vehicle spends a lot of time outside and the elements mess with it. The mechanics have used that information when helping me resolve some issues like which windshield wipers would work best.I highly recommend this business for your basic vehicle maintenance.
