Dr. Adrian is the best -- highly recommend him and his practice. Great advice, treatment, and conversation!

This review is long overdue, as I have been absolutely delighted by the service here since my very first appointment in February 2019. The staff here are incredibly kind and understanding. I have received all of my treatments from Kathy, a dermatological nurse with decades of experience. Despite her years of expertise and knowledge, Kathy is incredibly accessible and easy to talk to. Every single time Ive seen her (five sessions so far) she has gone well out of her way to ensure my comfort and ease. The cherry on top is that their prices are also very reasonable for the DMV area.

Dr. Thomas Adrian is super unprofessional and I did not feel cared for as a patient. When I asked questions about the treatment, he got mad and like I was questioning his abilities which made no sense. Clearly a gaslighter. Stay away from.

Good place to go to for laser. Dr helped me a lot with my hyperpigmentation. Reasonably priced as well.

I had a Botox on my forehead and a week after I was breaking outs all over my forehead and they don’t go away. This never happened to me before when I got Botox in other places. The Botox was gone 2 month after! I don’t recommend them to anyone.

Came in for a consultation appointment with Dr.Adrian and was seen in under 10mins in the office. I really liked not having to deal with old school paperwork etc, just used the tablet to fill out forms. Dr.Adrian was very nice and recommended few products, I look forward to seeing the results and finally have a clear skin!

Today was my first visit and I was coming ready for a facial. Their friendly staff checked me in quickly and Anna came for me within minutes. She was very kind and caring, and I felt as she was very honest with our consultation and made sure all my questions were answered. At the end, the facial I wanted was not the right option for me, but she suggested alternatives that were very well suited for what I was looking for. On my way out, I had a last-minute question about laser treatment and Melanie, the laser specialist, pulled me aside to address it without the need to come back for a different consultation. I am very happy with how I was treated and I would recommend this practice to anyone.

Dr. Thomas Adrian is simply amazing! I went with an acne problem which I had for the last 10 years and after trying 2 different treatment options 5 months later my face was completely clear, I am impressed with his work ethic and his knowledge! He also treats a ward on my feet which I had for a few years now and it’s almost gone after just several treatments! I am very thankful to him and his assistant Tanya, who is always helping me to prepare before Doctor, she is very helpful and beautiful person! And new front desk assistant- I believe her name is Emily, she was so nice and helpful to reschedule my appointment for 30 minutes late, since I was running late! The Center for Laser Surgery is AMAZING. The staff is friendly and incredibly knowledgeable & professional! I’ve had laser hair removal done there ( after a bad experience somewhere else) Kathy, who’s actually a nurse, does my laser hair removal treatment. I love that she is a nurse trained in providing safe and effective laser hair removal. Don’t let the price shy you away. It is 100% worth it & you will not regret going!

Check-In and Check-Out was hassle-free. I was seen almost instantly after checking in for my appointment. My visit with Dr. Adrian was quick but thorough. The staff were friendly and professional and the office environment was tidy.

I go to Dr. Adrian for serious dermatological issues; he is kind, patient, and explains everything in detail. It is reassuring to have a doctor who doesnt just type into a laptop during a visit. He also works magic with the CO@RE Laser to tighten and rejuvenate.Melanie is a top nurse practioner who does my cheeks and lips with fillers. She is very warm and friendly and its as comfortable as it can be while having needles stuck in your face.I recommend this office highly. Its easy to get appointments and its an attractive setting.

Melanie is beyond phenomenal!! I have been to her several times for many different treatments and been satisfied every time. She is very friendly and knows her needle!! Love the staff! The front desk staff is genuinely so nice. I am getting my tattoo removed with the nurse Gloria and I absolutely love her. Ive done about 3 sessions so far on a blue and black tattoo and everything is working out really well. They give you medicine to help with the pain so the laser isnt all that painful. Plus parking is super convenient.

I have been going to both Kathy and Melanie for laser hair removal for 3.5 years now and have nothing but stellar things to say! The office is professional, clean, and I have almost always been seen on time. Unlike going to a spa for laser, here you receive top-notch quality with no gimmicks or fear of things going wrong. It may cost slightly more, but once you take into account that you are being seen by true professionals and arent adding on an extra $40-80 in tip every visit (like you would be expected to at a spa). Worth every penny and I look forward to my visits (which are now sadly only 2-3 times/year since the lasers work so well!)

I’ve had 2 intracel treatments from Dr Adrian so far. He gave me a free initial consultation and explained fully the treatments and answered all my questions.Although the treatments are painful, Dr Adrian has been understanding and responsive when I have had concerns and questions. I find Dr Adrian to be very professional and knowledgeable and I feel very confident that he knows what he is doing. He is very down to earth and approachable.I also really appreciate that Dr Adrian has also offered suggestions for other things that I can to give me the best results in a cost effective way.I am looking forward to seeing the finals results!😃

I did a Fraxel dual laser treatment with Melanie one week ago. She was great-- very thorough, answered all of my questions, and relatively little pain! Great results so far!

Excellent facility with many patient treatment rooms and two waiting rooms. Dr. Adrian and his staff were extremely friendly and explained everything in detail. He did two small procedures during my visit and both were quick and relatively pain-free. I had as good an experience as one can have in a doctors office.There is a pay parking lot behind the building and a convenient Starbucks in front.

I went to the Center for Laser Surgery to have a small tattoo removed from my ring finger. After 11 treatments, my tattoo looks the same as it did when I first began my treatments, except for 2 small lighter spots on each corner of the tattoo. The rest of the tattoo stayed the same. It actually looks worse now than when I started the treatments. On the 12th visit, I was told there was nothing else they could do for me with the machine that they had. It would have been nice to know this information before I spent over $1,300.00 dollars. I was shocked and very disappointed. I was going to chalk it up to experience, but the more I thought about it, I decided to write a letter to Dr. Adrian. I wrote my letter in February and he has yet to respond. Again, I was disappointed. I thought clearly, with all the great reviews about customer service, I would have received a courtesy responds from Dr. Adrian. Do not have your tattoos removed here, or you will be disappointed as well.

The front desk staff were really nice and accommodating of a last minute schedule change I needed. Dr. Adrian was extremely nice and explained the procedure I was there for very carefully and put me at ease. The offices and waiting room are pristine. I was nervous about my appointment but it went extremely well because of the amazing staff and Dr. Adrian. Im glad to have found CLS for my skins needs and recommend it highly.

The second time, after I explicitly pointed to my tattoo so she could avoid it, she lasered directly on top of it. The manager, Christine, offered me a mere $50 refund (on a MUCH more expensive treatment) and I am permanently left with a botched tattoo.After spending thousands of dollars here, having a horrible outcome, and not being reimbursed adequately, Doctor Adrian would not even let Kathy answer a simple follow up question solely because I had switched practices. His demeanor is condescending, rude, and dismissive.The one redeemable aspect to this place is Kathy, who is super knowledgable and sweet. While they claim to have the newest techonologies they have the smallest size for the Alexandrite, meaning that it takes hours and hours and is super painful, while also leaving many patches of missed areas since the laser head is so small. Their YAG is no better as it is super outdated compared to other clinics. I would recommend looking for a clinic with a larger Alexandrite laser head, or one that can do higher YAG settings.Spare yourself and your wallet!!!!

As far as her comments on our technology, we continue to utilize the safest and most effective laser hair removal technology available, coupled with over 25 years experience in laser hair removal.

I have been here three times for laser hair removal and I have noticed an immense difference. I’ve been to two other treatment centers and they were not able to treat me because of my skin tone (darker skin tones need a different laser). This is by far the best center for me. They have flexible evening hours and I’m usually here for 30-45 mins.

I have dark hair and dark skin prone to hyperpigmentation and wanted to ensure I could get laser hair removal that was effective for my skin and hair type. After doing research, I settled for this place as they had nD:YAG laser and Kathy is a professional that specializes in this treatment. I saw immediate results after my first visit. My entire experience has been very smooth, the staff is patient and transparent, and Ive felt that from consultation to check in to treatment Ive been in good hands.

Took my teenage daughter for a consult on laser hair removal on her neck. Consult was quick and we were both left with the impression that we would be in good hands with the RN and that my daughter was a good candidate given the type of hair and location. Sure enough it was painless and successful and she feels great about the result. Definately plan to follow up with additional treatments as necessary. Price very reasonable.

I have been stuggling with acne for almost two decades and saw different doctors so it is easy for me to compare. Dr. Adrian is very attentive. He never rushes. My initial consultation lasted very long over 30 min which is unheard of (usually derm appointment last 5 min the most). I had enough time to tell all my treatment history, my concerns and talk about different treatment options. My subsequent appointments were still lengthy and I never felt rushed by doctor or staff. Office is very clean and spacious. Staff is always very friendly and caring. My friend recommended me to see Dr. Adrian and I recommend everyone else to see him!

As someone who is reluctant to visit a dermatologist Dr. Adrian was very thorough in his explanation of my skin issue and talked through the process of clearing up my skin. I had my laser hair removal consultation with Gloria at CLA after I had previous treatments elsewhere with inconvenient availability which got in the way of the efficacy of my results. Even though my previous place was less expensive, it ultimately cost me more there long term than it would here with CLA, due to more treatments because of missed hair growth cycles. So this place gives you results without really costing all that much as it seems.I really appreciate the fact that Glorias schedule is so flexible. I understand that she gets a lot of patients throughout the day so she is really making time for her patients as opposed to being booked out months like my old doctor because she only took a couple of patients a day.Gloria really seems to experiment with the wavelengths of the lasers to see how I reacted and took her time with it so she can yield results. I cant wait to get these treatments over with, but I will look forward to coming because the staff is very friendly and welcoming. You dont find that too often. They put you at ease and even offer numbing cream without any cost! There are a lot of places that charge you for numbing cream, and the whole experience makes me want to come back and work on more areas.

I almost dont want to write a review because Im giving away the best service and treatment!! This place is wonderful. I have been coming regularly for a variety of skin enhancing treatments for a couple of years, and treatment of a scar. The front desk staff are very nice, always courteous and clearly on top of things. Theres hardly ever a hold and youre greeted the moment you walk in. Melanie Erb is excellent and very knowledgeable about different treatments - I highly recommend her! The only bad experience Ive ever had with Botox was when I went to a DIFFERENT clinic, and was sorely disappointed when the doctor barely looked at my face. At Center for Laser Surgery, Melanie instead takes time to listen to your concerns and will explain how a process works. In my opinion this place offers the very best care and service!

Professional and experienced staff, never pushy when it comes to recommending a procedure or skin care products. My big concern was whether they would be able to maintain my skin without giving it that “Death Becomes Her” look (cool movie though).Yet, I have been getting facials (once a month with the Master Esthetician Anna) and injections of Botox and Juvederm (once a year with the Nurse Melanie) for the last 2 years and I hear people saying I look young for my age (turning 40), thinking that I am lucky with genes.

I had bad experiences with laser hair removal in the past, and a friend referred me to Kathy who is the utmost professional and very friendly. She listened to my concerns, and after three treatments of my back, I had no regrowth and am thrilled with the results!
