Really really like this place. They listen as you describe the problem, call you as soon as they need a decision (in my case, they needed the okay to replace worn tires), and then call as soon as the the work is done. They do excellent work AND they communicate the status of your car promptly and clearly. This is really invaluable to me. Thank you, Distads!

This place was absolutely exceptional with service - and the people are fantastic! The reason I listed 4 stars relates to records they keep for payment. I paid, on-site, for a service and have since been receiving mail that suggests I have not paid (this was service done on 6/22/20).I have moved and upon first receipt of the notice of a balance I spoke with the owner who recognized that I did pay. Today (5/16/21), I received another notice to make payment suggesting if I did not, the invoice would be sent to collections. Again, exceptional service and I am leaving this note for others to make sure you do keep track of payment records in the event someone at this business does not. I am certain, with the exceptional owner, this will all be cleared up but just keep your receipt in case. Otherwise, highly recommend!

He and his brothers Rick and Roy have always been ready to give honest and trustworthy advice and service for all of my many car problems. You can rest assured that if the Distad men did your work, you were fairly treated. I want to give them 10 stars, but Im only allowed a max of 5.I view Distads as a legendary DC institution.

Ive been taking my cars here for years. Theyre efficient, straightforward, and have never steered me toward any unnecessary repairs. My 2012 Mazda is running very well with regular maintenance at Distads. Im sure Ill continue to bring my vehicles here for many years to come.

They have great and honest service. I have saved over $200 by getting a second opinion here after a friend recommended them, and now I always go here first. Its especially good for people with zone 6 parking - otherwise there is an overnight parking fee.
