This place is amazing, brandy new everything inside, all new equipment, attentive staff, well they just have staff in abundance in general. Things that will wow you is rooms like the theater room, where you can do cardio while watching a movie on the big screen, the massage room, tanning, huge bathrooms, the circuit room, spin room etc. This gym has it all. Huge space, plenty of cardio equipment and free weights. And for myself and most parents they have edge kids, where your kids can hang and do awesome things like climb a rock wall while you work out. If your sick of.the same old gym and need a change, this is worth the drive. Memberships are very reasonable. Only 2 negative things are, parking and traffic on rte 2 .

Ive been going to this gym for a few months now and Ive had good workouts with no real issues. I dont order shakes, take classes or do anything which involves interacting with staff. I was in there today and used the sauna after my workout as I always do and the volume on the TV was louder than usual, uncomfortably loud for me. I asked a couple other members to confirm it wasnt just me who thought this and I wasnt the only one.On my way out of the gym I stopped by the front desk and mentioned the above to one of the front desk associates. He was unprofessional and dismissive to say the least, going so far as to mock me with a comment of Is everyone okay in there spoken with a snarky tone. I made a reasonable request which was met with an insult rather than decent customer service. Its a decent gym but dont ask the employees to do anything beyond making shakes or theyll give you an attitude.

We stopped going to the gym when covid started. They secretly started charging us again without warning. I called to ask them to stop charging me and they said I had to physically come in to cancel the membership. Overall the cost of the gym was not worth it, and the shady business practices to charge unsuspecting customers during covid is ridiculous. Trying to resolve the issue I was treated very poorly over the phone, the people who work there seem to have a sense of superiority over others. I am out of pocket hundreds of dollars with no hope of getting any of it back.

I have a membership to The Edge Fitness Clubs Warwick and I didnt notice this sooner but I realized they had been charging me twice a month since October and they owe me $178. I called and spoke to Liz and she said it is because I used to get personal training and when I canceled because I was having surgery, they never had me sign a form. I made the request in person so I should have been asked to sign.Liz said I wasnt paying for the one on one training because you havent scheduled stuff but this fee is for the edge strong classes and the edge strong challenge. These are all fees that are on one contract so I should have been charged for all these fees or none of them. I said this sounded shady and asked to speak to someone who could explain it better and Liz refused and said she could explain it fine. Liz told me that I had to come in to sign the form and I would receive a refund and that I could cancel my gym membership.I went in and spoke to the manager, Erin, who told me Liz didnt have the authority to say those things as she is new. She said she should have transferred me. I informed her that I asked for that to happen and Liz refused. Erin seemed shocked by this.She then had me sign the personal training cancelation form and informed me that she doesnt have the authority to offer me a refund or and she cant cancel my membership. She said she had to speak to an admin who MIGHT refund me or might give me a club credit and that it would take 21 days. She agreed that my money was stolen because they correct paperwork wasnt filed. I asked for this admins name for my record and was told she couldnt give me that information and I asked for them to contact me on the morning and she said she could try but they deal with 3 clubs and they dont generally speak to customers.She also said I had to contact ABC to cancel the membership, because if she does it I would have to buy out my contract, but ABC could approve a full cancel. ABC is saying that they cant cancel it, even though I followed protocol and sent an email, because theyre just following the gyms protocols. Marie stated it requires a manager approvalI called the gym back and spoke to Erin and she said that she couldnt approve my cancelation or refund and that she would speak to customer service. She again refused to provide me with contact information for anyone higher up at Edge that could help me.The next morning, I reached out to Edge to speak to Carter, the person in charge of personal training. Erin had told me the day before that he would call me and ASSURED ME that he could help me. I relayed the above information to him, and when I said that Marie at ABC called Erin (while I was on the phone) to ask for cancellation approval and she told them she didnt have the authority, Carter informed me that Erin is in fact the general manager and DOES have that authority. He stated that he has some pull and would advocate for me but that Erin was able to do the cancellation for me. This is disgusting. Not only did she lie to my face and act like she was just a regular manager with no pull, but she pushed this off on to Carter who has fewer credentials than her.

Love the set up of this gym and the amenities it offers, but customer service is HORRIBLE every time I have a question about my account I get a different answer from every team member I ask. Several times I have tried to contact them via phone about billing or account questions and end up wasting over an hour of my time listening to the phone ring for no one to ever answer, yet when you go into the location there’s always at least 2 people sitting behind the counter near the phones...

Im writing this review from the parking lot of The Edge. I became a member before this location opened and enjoyed it alot before Covid-19. This was my first time back since February. Everyone I saw was wearing a mask, many people however were wearing their masks below their chin or below their nose. I saw many people within 6 feet of each other. I even saw people use machines and then not clean up after themselves. I saw a decent amount of the staff walking around but no one seemed to address any of these issues. And no, Im not just talking about 1 or 2 people. This isnt safe or clean.

It took An arm and leg to get the cancellation policy from the manager.He says “I can take a pic of the policy paper but he can’t give it to me”I believe it’s the customer right to have the cancellation policy before they sign up.Instead the manager comes waving the policy paper in my face and says “ i can’t give you the policy paper because in the front of the paper, there is a customer signature and details”I said: “ how about you give me the policy paper without a customer details ?”and added “you just need to get me a new one without anyone details on it”.he replies “ no, I can’t”I stood there not believing it and ready to leave and then his brain started thinking and he says “ I copy the cancellation policy” I said “yes, please”otherwise, the gym seem clean and staff seem friendly ( met with Victory) but manager didn’t make sense the prices are not good enough.you get trapped in joining fee.( cancellation policy is so strict - you have to move out of the area or prove that your dr says that you have health barrier preventing you from going to the gym - Edge Fitness reserve the right to send the customers to see a dr of their wish at their expense- refer to the policy in the pic ).based on the cancellation policy,price and the interaction i had with the manager I would say SKIP this gym!

Ive been trying to cancel my gym membership due to getting laid off due to COVID for a little and I live out of the way from any location. They do NOTHING to help their customers or have any sympathy. They just want to scam you $20 a month and their yearly fee. When I signed up, no one told me I was in a contract or anything. So trying to cancel is a hassle. They told me I have to live a certain amount of miles from any Edge Fitness clubs and I follow the criteria and they still wont because it is the address I signed up with. Ive been paying for a membership for over a year now, and I still cant cancel.Atleast with Planet Fitness, they are willing to cancel your account due to covid or freeze your acount, but this place gives zero interest to the customer and all they care about is making profit of people who are suffering. Ridiculous.

I have a serious medical condition and even with a note from my physician indicating that I cannot use the edge fitness clubs, ABC Financial (the finance partner of edge fitness club) refused to allow me to cancel my membership early. I have never been more disgusted with an organization in my life. Believe every negative review you read about this organization, and do not use their services if your gym partners with them. They are horrific, having not even a morsel of human decency.

Its a beautiful gym and well worth the membership. I love the cinema and the sauna. I previously had a membership with 24 HR fitness before moving to RI and found Planet Fitness lacking. This gym is really nice and gives you a ton of work out options. The staff are also friendly.

The worst experience I have ever had with a gym. I cancelled my membership in the beginning of December. I was told I was all set, after i signed some papers and a cancellation form. Once January rolled around, I was hit with a 100 dollar fee. I called up Edge Fitness and was told I need to call up ABC financial. At first, I asked to speak to a manager, but conveniently every manager in the place is at a meeting. I called up ABC financial and they said that my membership was never cancelled, and that they would get back to me once they figured everything out. They never got back to me! I have called Edge about 5 times and every time I call, every manager is at a meeting. ABC financial refuses to cancel membership because my reasoning for cancellation wasnt appropriate. This is Edge Fitness way of getting money out of people. I have never in my life experienced a poorly communicated business such as Edge. Would not recommend.

My son just tested positive today! He’s been in the gym constantly since June 1st including this morning. He mentioned that he started hearing this week that Covid was going around the gym and he asked me to get tested. Well we received the results today and positive. I am ashamed more at this state for allowing these gyms to open so soon. Please spread the word!!!!

Currently my favorite gym because they cdc guidelines and no longer force people to wear masks, the equipment is new and awesome everything is clean. Lots of wipes and cleaning supplies, bathrooms have Lysol. I love it here

Had a blast signing up, Jessica answered all my questions with a positive attitude and made it so that my experience was amazing!! Staff is very kind. I was able to get a lot of info on the gym and even got a free shaker bottle. I definitely recommend signing up. Very excited for the gym to open next month :)

Love the gym! Very friendly staff and the gym is very welcoming. The only thing I find a down fall at the gym is the app is very slow and the classes are filling up. I would like to see more Cycle classes added at night. Right now there is only one time a night. That isnt always convenient for people who work a little later hours.

The staff here were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They are not sales people that try to get you to lock in at the highest rate. They allowed me to chose exactly what I wanted with no extra pressure to do more. I highly recommend you at least talk with them if you are interested with a really nice gym.

Joined for the variety of equipment and it being new for the price. My kids 10 and 8 years old went once to Edge Kids and didn’t like it because they were told by staff they had to participate in the activities staff was setting up. My kids wanted to climb the rock wall and shoot baskets in the basketball hoop they have and do their own thing but the staff wouldn’t let them. Tried to take them back a second time to see if it would be different but they wanted to charge both kids for a daily visit so I didn’t sign them up because they disliked it the first time. That’s the reason for the four stars. As for the gym itself, I like the Hammer Strength equipment. Right now it’s nice, new and clean. Hopefully it’s kept that way.

I went to the preview center in Warwick today and was helped by Elizabeth Davis and she was so friendly and sincere and really got me excited to be a member there! She was very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained everything for me and showed me what this beautiful new gym had to offer! Can’t wait!

Harrassed for not wearing mask while doing cardio.The place is nice and after talking with the employee the next day after our incident he was just following Direction of the people above him. Planet Fitness welcomed to me to do my cardio with no mask on and paid for my first two month membership.Edge Fitness basically forced me to cancel my agreement and still not has returned money

I had a great experience at the Edge Fitness Preview Center. The sales representative, John, was friendly and professional. He made sure to fill me in on all the club amenities associated with my membership. He also helped to keep my daughter busy while we filled out the necessary paperwork. I am looking forward to the grand opening of the Edge.

I would recommend the warwick location to people i am new this gym after i left my current gym i was looking for a change of pace some place where i can challenge myself more so far i am having fun if you are looking for a small group training class i would recommend signing up for the Edge Strong program the classes are for all levels the trainer make it educational and fun

I’m so excited to be part of this new Gym! The facility is huge! With everything I need! I love how much equipment they have, no matter what kind of work out I’m doing I can find what I need. Having a women only area is such a nice touch too. Cuz sometimes it’s just nice to workout with just the ladies! And having a sauna in the locker room is key for me! I can’t wait to start working out with my new trainer and fit-fam!

Worst choice in gym Ive ever made! This is not a franchise owned and operated by a business owner. A financial institution owns and controls anything having to do with $$ for this gym! They will make it nearly impossible to terminate your contract with them if you move past 30 miles! I left Healthtrax, Golds, LA Fitness and a few others w/o half the headache this gym is giving me! Do NOT join this gym if you plan on relocating any time w in a year of signing. Do NOT sign for 2yrs! Better yet, save your money and headache. Go to another gym!

Michael Leverone is the most epic, badass, beast mode person I have ever met. With him running the Edge fitness in Warwick, it is hands down the best club in RI. Definitely a must visit if you’re into fitness. Particularly if you have kids, their kids area is gang busters.
