All of the staff was very nice, personal and professional. Dr. Folbe went out her way to explain everything and made sure you were comfortable with whatever procedure.

Dr. Folbe is the best family dentist I have experienced in my 7 decades, 4states east coast & midwest experience. Her professionalism is of highest caliber. She is always up to date with new dentistry technology. Hygienists are top notch. I recommend her to my friends& family young and old.

This is a wonderful dental office. All of the doctors are terrific and address all of my issues with care. I see Wendy, dental hygienist, for my dental cleanings and she is great. My teeth are very sensitive and she applies a paste that makes it much more comfortable for me when she is scaling my teeth. They all listen very well and educate you on new products on the market and dental appliances. I have been going to this family practice for over 20 years. I highly recommend this office.

I was a client at this dental practice for 17 years. One of the Hygienists is an anti masker, which is very unnerving when you’re sitting in a chair with your mouth wide-open and she’s leaning over top of you talking about how the pandemic is all blown out of proportion.Then one day I had to call to reschedule a teeth cleaning appointment because of an emergency at work and I was told there is a $50 fee to reschedule an appointment. This information is not posted on their website and they do not tell new patients and there is not a sign about it in their office. It’s dishonest and it’s obscene. I have now found a new dentist that does not have such an unreasonable policy.

Friday, July 17, 2020My sister, Kath and I went for our x-rays and teeth cleaning today. Our hygienist, Jennifer was very kind, thorough and professional. Dr. Banas was very kind, thorough and professional too. We look forward to our dental visits and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Folbe and her WONDERFUL staff! They are THE BEST in THE WORLD!

I have been going to the Folbe office for over 20 yrs. Dr Ellen Folbe is the nicest, excellent dentist you can find. Her staff loves her too. That says alot about a person. She does excellent work and I highly recommend her!

Excellent but was shocked I was charged $80 even though I have dental insurance.

Ive been a patient all the way back to when it was Folbe & Pinsky DDS, and for the past 40+ years has been the only dentists I go to. It may sound a bit cliche but when I say Ellen and the rest of the team are like family, I truly mean it. My comfort has always been their number one priority, and their willingness to work with me on payments, etc has provided true peace of mind over the years.

I had been a long time patient of the practice but left for a few years but the care and service that I get at this practice brought me back. I never have a preference to who I am scheduling with as all the hygienists and dentists are good and patient and willing to explain or answer any questions I have.

Great staff along with all the dentist. Looking for a new dentist, you will not be disappointed.

The office staff is rude and condescending. My family and I have been going there for 20 years and we love Dr. Folbe but she is hardly there. There is a revolving door of dentists and it seems like we get a new one fresh out of dental school every time. This last visit was the last for us. The very rude receptionist refused to schedule our 6 month appointments in advance because of our cancellation history. We did not make any recent cancellations and in fact their office is the one who cancelled on us! We had to drive all the way out to Warren 2 days in a row to accommodate their schedule. When I tried to explain this to the very rude receptionist, she replied with a condescending, I’m sorry, but...She did nothing to rectify the situation. That is very poor customer service! There are many more dental offices out there that are cleaner, nicer, and friendlier. We will not be back!

My fiancé sees Dr Brodsky and really likes her too. We drive all the way from Clawson to see them :D

I rushed into this office and needed emergency care (my crown and post had fallen out) and they were willing to help me - no questions asked they were there for me. In the world of dentistry this matters. Rachel and Angela were not only helpful but willing for me to come in at a moments notice......thank you- I will NEVER forget your kindness shown to a woman in need.

Around two years ago I went to Dr. Folbe just like any other time I needed dental work done. I loved the office it was clean and they were friendly. I went to her office for my appointment some time in 2017 to file down one of my front teeth (central incisor) that was a tab bit longer then the other front tooth. Also to bond my two lateral incisor teeth to make them bigger. Which had been done by my childhood dentist (not her) when I was younger and they turned out good. It had been years since they were done so I knew they needed to be redone and I wanted them a tad bit bigger. She said she could do the job, she was just getting into cosmetic work. At the appointment before she got in my mouth I asked her if she thought it would look weird if I made the two lateral incisor bigger because that would mean all four front teeth would be straight across and my canine hung down low in a fang shape. She said she didn’t think it would look weird and made the point that I was asking for the lateral incisor to be made bigger for a while. She filed down my two front teeth. Showed me the mirror and it was perfect! Now on to bonding my two lateral incisor. When she finished that job and showed me the mirror I wanted to cry. They were huge and bulky and completely off color. The color thing I wasn’t to concerned about at the time because I whiten my teethe and it had been a while and I was due for a whitening treatment. I asked her immediately to file them down more. She did. They still looked terrible. Left side lateral incisor was now overlapping my canine and the right side lateral incisor had a clear dip in the tooth. (Not smooth) That’s not even the worse. The worse is she filed down both of my canine. Without asking. I never told her to do that. I would have never. I loved my fang canine. I asked her at the beginning of the appointment if it was going to look weird with the front four teeth straight and the canine hanging. That’s it! I never asked her to file my canine down. I left completely sad. They kept saying it’s going to take some time to get used to my new smile. My new smile that I now hated and had to pay for. I didn’t pay much but the damage done was worth far more. I went to the office one more time to see if I could at least file down my lateral incisor more and get my last cleaning before my dental insurance was gone. I seen some else at the office and they filed them down more. Looked better but not good. I cried for MONTHS about my teethe. I stopped smiling. My self esteem dropped dramatically. I lost my dental insurance shortly after that appointment I haven’t been back. Dental insurance doesn’t matter at this point because it wouldn’t cover cosmetic veneers. The only thing I think that could fix my smile. I should have never cosmetically let her touch my mouth. I should have never made that decision. My smile was way better before. I keep seeing her fb and instagram add and it’s making me sick to my stomach all over again.

Kid friendly and so extremely patient with scared kids. Dr. Folbe and Kristen went out of their way to help my 9 year old get threw his appointment. He left smiling and happy!! I highly recommend them to other families!

Dr. Folbe is one of a kind when it comes to dentists. She takes her time to discuss treatments and plans with you. Its so nice to be able to take my teenage kids to the same place for their all their dental needs. My grandfather who hadnt been to a dentist in over 40 years loves Dr. Folbe and says he wished he would have known about her sooner.

Cleaning teeth was never been so painful. Lia was cleaning my teeth like i am a dead person. i was feeling like a butcher taking out my skin alive. and her behavior towards me was so mean. i went to this place with a big hope and smile and came out without a smile. she makes me use the suction myself while she was cleaning. i was still bleeding after she is done and tried to use the sink to rinse my mouth and she was like no thats not for you thats for our hand wash. my mouth has bacteria. and her hand is so clean has no bacteria. she was just ridiculous.

I had not been to dentist in prob 15 years. retirement was coming up in six months and wanted to have teeth taken care of before i retired. I thought my only option was pulling what teeth were left and getting total false teeth. This dental office gave me great alternatives. the staff here in warren office were so caring, it was astounding. From the ladies at the reception counter to the dental assistants, the hygienist to the dentist have performed nothing short of impeccable service. Smiles on all the faces at all times. I had extractions, crowns, core build ups and finally partials made. i have never been this happy with any thing else my whole life. And special thanks to Dr Banas and Margaret, Two outstanding, friendly, and the most professional people I have ever met. I look forward to my six month check up. thank you all so so much, I can smile again!

Warren location is the worst place that Ive ever been too.Please find an honest, caring, and available place, if you value your health and money. They dismissed me from their care while under emergency from a specialist, leaving me to find a new dentist in the middle of treatments. They wont even tell me why. And no, I dont owe them any money.I went back and paid cash to see my old dentist that dropped my insurance. Sometimes its worth the money for good care.

My wife and I made the mistake of coming here.They argued with me that my cleanings were subtracted from my total annual dental allotment which was untrue,we came for a appointment that was scheduled and they had no record of the appointment.My wife is 74 yrs. old and has dementia and Parkinsons disease and it was diificult to get her in to their basement office and then to be told we had no appointment ? In fact they had no appointments scheduled for us after giving us cards for three appointments . This is a dysfunctional incompetent office and I am glad we didnt actually have dental work here other than a terrible cleaning by a hygenist that didnt even introduce herself ??? Odd place !!

Ive never had such a gentle dentist, barely even felt the needle when she numbed me up for a filling which has always been super painful with my last dentist. I highly recommend this office!

Never been so unhappy with a dentist in my life. She was so rough with my gums! Do not go here! The dentist I saw cared more about my previous dentist practices than how I was feeling. When I said it hurt when she was poking the hell out of my gums, she seemed like it wasnt supposed to hurt. Instead of trying to make things more comfortable with the gas or being gentler, she had me reschedule for 2 more appts. to numb up each side of my mouth. Which is, of course, more money. That was my second visit. On my first, a different dentist told me I needed a root canal with a crown(which is over $600 out of pocket, with $468 being the crown). She didnt go over any other options with me. She also told my I have an abscess and didnt bother to give me a prescription for an antibiotic! 2 visits and never again!
