Was answering the phone for my mother since she was unavailable at the moment and the counselor who answered the phone was highly unprofessional and rude. I will be making sure she doesn’t work with my mother anymore.

Waited 4 months to see someone. When I finally did, they didn’t listen or want to help.

One of the social workers was at the ER and threatened to call the police on me if I didn’t bring my girlfriend’s phone to the ER. I wasn’t going to but I don’t like being threatened. I took the phone into Trumbull Memorial ER on Wednesday, September 16th. around 9:00 PM. The social worker called me at 7:38 pm. I said here’s her phone. So who’s the woman that threatened to call the police on me? Everyone in the ER said I don’t know. Later on my girlfriend told me that she was sitting right in front of me!! I will find out who she is and file a few complaints. I’m retired and I have plenty of time. BTW my girlfriend wasn’t permitted to have her phone until she was released from the hospital. Apparently they protect their own, but there are many other ways to file complaints and find out who this woman is.

Dont think that anything you say to your counselor is private or held in confidence. Supervisors, other counselers, and other people on whats called a team will know who you are and what you say. Just because You are speaking with one person, remember 25 others might as well be in the room because they are privileged to all of your past, present, and future. Therapist here are reported to the state licensing board and found to be performing below minimal standard of care. The better ones leave which means you are stuck with the defects.If you want to know about this place, go to glass door, indeed and other employment review sites. Current and former employees boldly state what actually occurs there.How they feel about and what they say about clients, and collecting medicaid money is the bottom line. Uncaring and unqualified counselors that destroy the lives of those seeking help. I am writing in support of a friend who has had her disabilities mocked, belittled, bullied, made to stand out in below zero weather for being late and left much worse off then when she started. She went to a much better professional agency and has since become so much better and living a much more productive life.places like Coleman are the reason why people refuse to go for treatment.Right now she is fighting for justice after the way she has been mistreated, humilated, and abused. We know there are others out there that need to come forward. They should be ashamed to ask for donations when they dont believe in the cause of mental illness. coleman professional services will always defend their worthless employees regardless of what they do to you so be careful. They do not have to respect you or treat you in a humane manner. In 2015 Coleman was named in a wrongful death lawsuit being sued by the deceased womens family for negligence.How they remain open is beyond me. I have heard other horror stories as to why this place is a revolving door that cant keep clients or employees. They had to close their other building due to lack of business. Dont be the one stuck here. Go find help in a place where they actually have compassion and empathy. My friend now has to deal with abuse from Coleman on top of what she actually sought treatment for.This hell hole is no place to go for help. The staff is unprofessional, mean, and cruel. They walk around with their noses in the air with this aura of arrogance. I am right you are wrong and I have no respect for you because you have mental illness or addiction. You are worthless and not worth my time. This is how you will be treated. Your counselor may be good at first, but watch your confidentially, Everyone and their sister will know what you came in for. This place had been sanctioned for a reason and you will find out when you go that they dont enjoy the same privileges as other agencies. Please stay away. Dont become a victim twice. Former and present employees say the exact thing.
