For a commercial gym, the gym etiquette here is actually really good. If you’re looking for a positive lifting environment for a low cost, it’s good. However, whoever is in charge of ordering equipment decided to go 50/50 on the 35 lb and 45 lb barbells. Sometimes, I have to scavenge for a 45 lb barbell for cleans and snatched. Sauna etiquette could be better, can’t stand people singing with headphones in and sparring the air while I’m meditating before I start the day

Friendly atmosphere, and clean. I feel quite comfortable going in and participating and using any area. They have everything you can think of and more. Great gym for a reasonable price.

Training with Andrew R is going great. Im learning alot. Andrew is awesome. One of the most friendly and patient people Ive ever met. Always great conversation and positivity. Stay awesome 👌 👽😃🤖

Horrible maintenance on ALL equipment. Rather than fixing anything, they just slap a sign on it saying its broke. Zero organization when it comes to weights with plate loaded machines. Zero gym etiquette from most that go there, including the employees. Bathrooms are frequently dirty with no paper towel for drying hands. Not enough weights to keep on all benches or machines. Over populated with Zero member limitations. Overall a pretty poor gym experience. Such a shame that this place has only been open for 2 years. Glad I dont have to come out of pocket for membership as there are several gyms within a square mile that offer a much better workout and gym going experience EVERY time.

The negative reviews speak more accurately about this gym than the positive ones. The gym is ALWAYS. CROWDED. The staff members and management are ridiculously unprofessional. This is a greedy gym. Two of their personnel, who apparently got fired, didn’t update my payment information on my account. I spoke to THREE different people throughout a month who all claimed the issue was fixed and I wouldn’t get charged 3x my membership fee. Not only was I charged, but the management refused to negotiate the fee and implied I was lying because none of the staff documented the encounter. They also threatened to charge me more fees if I disputed the charges. I decided to take my business elsewhere.

This location is great! The staff is SO friendly. They are attentive and care about your concerns. Overall, the facility is clean and organized. There is always staff walking around either cleaning or straightening up. Crunch takes the COVID protocols very serious so I have noticed staff politely asking members to wear their masks correctly. We all want to continue to workout in a safe environment and Crunch provides at this location without a doubt.

Worst ran gym. Over crowded. Tried cancelling my membership twice and they continued to charge me without providing any sort of refund. Nate the “manager” was extremely unhelpful.

I would no doubt give this place 5 stars but there’s a few employees that take mask wearing way too seriously and will hound you down for not wearing one, it’s a gym have some common sense... Go to Royal oak gym if you want freedom.

Best gym around, all the equipment you need and you dont have to worry about being to loud lol like some other gyms i know aka planet lunk alarm, just can get in a great real workout.

A great place to go sling some weight around or get a run in. Very clean, machines are really kept up well. Nice and bright too. Don’t believe me? Why don’t you ask some of the many up-and-coming influencers who have made this their home gym? Think they would want to film in a gross, dark gym like planet? Highly recommend!!!!

Myself and others who pay a monthly fee to go to Crunch just for the ride classes are getting very frustrated. There are hardly any evening classes (most people work during the 8-9am classes) and Terrence and Stephanies classes which were full every single week are moved or cancelled all together. I have personally been in two classes in the last month were no instructor even showed up. This location is going to lose a large number of members who pay the fees only for the ride classes if you dont get it right fast. I am not getting my monies worth and its a daily conversation in the spin room that most everyone feels the same way. You shouldnt be charging members extra to be able to do the ride classes if you only have two in the evenings. Also your best instructors are Stephanie and Terrence shouldnt the full classes every single week for months be the indication.Lastly on Friday April 2nd, I went in the tanning bed, I asked for 5 minutes. No one turned it on, I called the desk from my cell phone. I specifically asked for 5 minutes. They turned it on, I fell asleep and woke up after 13 minutes. I was so fried I had to go to the doctor on my vacation in Florida and get on a steroid.I told the desk on my way out, I explained how serious that was but the girl just said we put the right time on the timer, I dont know what happened and the manager is on break.

Don’t waste your time going here. Small guy taking his job as towel boy way too serious will harass you about wearing a mask while working out when it’s obvious he’s never lifted a day in his life. Go to a real gym

Very colorful. I like how its equipment is sectioned. The turf, and box jumps, are ideal for athletic training. Certain areas, and the bumper plates, give me crossfit vibes though. Im not the biggest fan of crossfit. But, to each their own

Love this place! They offer so many different types of classes and when you walk in you get the “family” feel. Everyone gets along with each other and the trainers are amazing! I had a glitch happen with my training sessions but Brandon was able to quickly fix the issue! I have yet to have a bad experience. They take the mask rule seriously and it is important to stay safe and healthy.

I love this place just start coming here and it’s great I coke after hours it’s not busy and it feels nice

Great gym. Initial membership fees are a little annoying but the facility always looks clean and is full of equipment. They also try to keep up on programs and theres plenty of people to help you out with your individual needs.

This gym is not bad for equipment. But they don’t have a lot of Machines and you are always waiting for someone to get done with their workout and after they are done chatting with their friends. Also, I understand that with COVID 19 you need a mask but the workers will constantly be on you to put your mask up all the way, it doesn’t matter if your on the treadmill running and you pull your mask down to get some air they will tell you to pull it up. They will keep coming up interrupting your work out to tell you to cover your nose or they will kick you out, I understand that they could get shut down but I don’t like getting kicked out of a place I pay my hard earned money at just because I put my mask down to catch my breath. Don’t recommend.

When I go at 5am, most people are wearing masks... but now, 2 weekends in a row when I go around 9am, it was about 50/50 people wearing masks.I sit in the same chair to put on my shoes everyday. One chair had chocolate smeared on the handle for 3-4 days until I said something about it. Makes me question how cleanly the building is kept.

The staff will interrupt your workout to tell you to put on your mask even if they are not on their shift, it doesn’t matter if you’re under intense training they will interrupt your workout and tell you to put your mask on even if you are doing social distance from everyone it don’t matter..they will interrupt your workout. I recommend this gym if you’re able to run 4 miles with your mask on without running out of breath. Sorry but they can do better.

The gym is priced cheap so lots of High School kiddies and College big kiddies train here and they have ZERO CLUE ABOUT GYM ETIQUETTE. I train here when I have to but prefer all the equipment at LA FITNESS. Gym is okay but not horrible. Its close to home and I can be there in less than 5 minutes. Gym is very small compared to other gyms Ive been to. With the limited amount of space and workout machines, there are alot of muscle heads hogging everything and acting like they own or run the place. Staff is nice though.

Watch out. My card magically declined. And little behold I have 2 charges for $49.95. In a 2 week period. Never once did I get a phone call stating the card might be in wrong. Poor communication and customer service. Then when calling about it I’m told I have to wait till Monday for a general manager because they use a different billing service. Brianna wasn’t very helpful. Even wanted to be snippy about it. I am very fond of working out and the gym life. And will pay $ for it. But don’t be sneaky and mishandle peoples money. Oh and even working out at this location was horrible. Staff is all up your butt about the mask and will stop you in a middle of a workout.

I’ve recently joined this Gym and I must say I’m really impressed with how often I personally witness the staff cleaning the common areas. It’s a spacious location and safe distancing is generally adhered to by the members, while the staff really encourages mask compliance. This gym has A LOT of equipment- the Killer Jacobs Ladder is my personal goal💪🏽Thanks Crunch Fitness of Warren for all you Guys do. ❤️

Ive been a handful of times and its great. I love everything about Crunch Fitness. From the cycle class, aerobic class, and specially the hydro massage ❤. I would love to have an one on one trainer, but they a little expensive. Other than that I love it and definately would refer others to join.

Forgot my keys at the workout station, went back in to get them and the staff at the front desk was aggressive and rude, very unprofessional. Cancelled my membership. Bunch of little kids running the gym. They all dating each other lol

Honestly the gym itself is nice and they have a lot od different machines. Its tue people who workout that Im not fond of. I constantly have to wait on people to use a machine even tho they have multiples of everything. Most people do a set and talk for 5 minutes in between sets and its just annoying for the people who want to get a quick workout like me

I had poor customer service with this gym and they were very unhelpful. On top of it every time I went to the gym there was no available equipment and I had to wait in line for me to use anything.

Beautiful New Gym great low prices that rival planet fitness, edge, and LA! Definitely worth checking out getting a membership if you live in the area! They have classes, guest privileges, tanning, hydro massage, locker rooms, showers, saunas, and tons of weights and equipment. As a former Planet Fitness member this gym definitely has a nicer feel to it.

Came here today because the Warren Rec Center was closed. Honestly I’m feeling the atmosphere and everything is brand new and up to date!! I got a free pass and I will most definitely sign up and become a member 🙂The staff were friendly and awesome!!!

Worst place to work out ever. I started personal training and am unable to complete due to a medical reason which is exasperated by there Requirement to wear a mask at all times. Which goes against the cdc guidelines. They are refusing to refund me for trainning sessions I did not use. Since I amMedically unable to work out their, I should get a refund. I suggest you never work out their as they are scammers.

Nice gym. Clean and tons of machines and free weight. If your worried about covid. Stay home. Most gym chains are open now anyways.

Ive been @ LA Fitness for Years. A friend had gotten a membership right before COVID-19 hit & took me to the Dearborn location I enjoyed the workout and heard one was opening where I live So I went online got an day pass and was denied access because capacity. The General Mgr & Assistant Mgr told if I wanted to buy a membership now I could enter. I get it! I was a GM @ LA Fitness for years & Refered some of my ex colleagues to come to Crunch. STOP TELLING THE CUSTOMER your not honoring day passes just to sell memberships. If this was my establishment Id fire you...The gym sells itself its your job to show THE CUSTOMER how they can IMPROVE not to pad your pockets. SHADY BUSINESS IS SO UNNECESSARY. YOU GOTTA DO BETTER TO SHARPEN YOUR SKILLS.‍

Honestly I love the gym it’s self but the ones that work inside the gym have no clue what they’re doing how can you say you care about your employees but when someone gives you a four hour advance notice that they can’t make it due to their car being down and then you still fire them the next day after they work a shift very unprofessional.

I think a 10 year old could do better talking than the people who works there. Not worth a penny to workout there

Opened in violation of the covid executive order and everyone whos gyms stayed closed came here. Their procedure was to check in wearing a mask, then you could remove it to workout. Now, gyms are open, and the are complying with the executive order and you must wear a facemask at all times.

As soon as I walked into the door my mouth dropped open. This place is absolutely amazing. The one thing I love the most about this place, besides the remarkable staff they have of course, is the vibe you get as soon as you walk in the door. Just being in this place it makes you want to feel good, do good, and not just be good, but be good at it!! Ive been to a lot of work out facilities before ... with that said hands down Crunch Fitness tops them all. This location is open against governors orders and is charging people for memberships when they are NOT supposed to be open per the state. And when asked to cancel, the manager is extremely rude basically says well there is nothing you can do about it, says they will not refund the money they should not have taken and will charge a $50 fee for a month to month membership cancelation.

Horrible with getting back to you . They charged me for a month right after I called to cancel my membership. They would say they would call me back but never do ... I would call and get sent to voicemail after about four rings .
