I lived here nearly one year and have never had a worse experience with an apartment.- My dryer was broken on move in and took two weeks to replace. I was given a unit to use their dryer but when I went in there was no dryer in that unit as well.- My fridge wasn’t working properly and took over a MONTH to get replaced by management.- My hot water heater was apparently installed incorrectly and had to be fixed on move in.- Packages delivered are strewn about in the lobby for anyone to walk by and take with no organizational attempt whatsoever.- The trash room was abhorrent most of the time as shown in the photos. I think these are in violation of fire codes as well as sanitation codes - as there was mice feces after all the trash was finally moved as shown in the photo. Note that this photo is taken no more than 15 yards from a unit - all indoors.- Management was frankly extremely poor and the property manager, Laurel, was condescending, never in office, and rude. The building might be pretty but that’s the only redeeming quality. Find a different location to live in my personal opinion.

We lived at the Watch Factory for about two years and loved it. Beautiful view of the Charles River from the loft and from the parking lot. Professionally managed and the management and maintenance teams were always very responsive. We had to move because we wanted a one floor layout for our toddler, otherwise probably would still be living there.

I like the apartment, the fact that there is a restaurant downstairs and I like the location on the river. But the walls are very thin, I can hear the person upstairs walking around all the time. And the floor creaks when they do. Im here for a short time and will wait and see if Id consider coming back

I lived at the Watch Factory for about a year. I shared a loft with a relative on the 241 side and if the prices were a little cheaper I would have lived there longer on my own. Theres a lot to like about the Watch Factory. The building has a fascinating history and there is a cool little museum onsite. The building is also right along the Charles, and theres a few docks onsite for fishers and kayakers, so great spot for water lovers. There is ample parking onsite and a nice little garage for snow days, so you dont have to wipe your car off! The other side of the building has a really nice courtyard, common area with free coffee, and Italian restaurant. A decent sized gym is onsite with several treadmills, bikes, weight machine, and weights, and theres ample room for yoga or anything else as well.Living on the 241 side can be slightly inconvenient for getting packages because you have to walk to the other end of the building to the leasing office. It doesnt sound bad but its a huge building so it can take a while. The old brick walls make for a nice aesthetic, but they dont hold heat very well so expect to pay a higher gas bill. I wouldnt say the walls are paper thin, but if your neighbors are being really loud you will probably hear them. No issues with footsteps above though, and the high ceilings are really nice. The amount of windows letting light in is fantastic. Each unit has in unit laundry and a dishwasher, not always a given in Boston. The kitchen didnt have cabinet doors though so it always looked a little messy because you could see all your pots and pans! The bedrooms also did not have doors on them which was pretty strange and isnt great for soundproofing.Watch Factory is walkable to many restaurants, bars and shops on Moody Street, as well as downtown Waltham. Its a fun little area. You are close to the commuter rail and a weekday bus to get to Boston, but its not as convenient as living near the actual T, which is way cheaper and more timely than commuter rail, so probably not the best spot if you want easy access to the city. You would need to drive to Riverside to take the actual T.For splitting the lease it was fairly affordable, just wish I could have afforded a place on my own. Staff are friendly and maintenance is timely. Overall it was nice and I would recommend!

Really interesting apartment community. In fact, it was once a watch factory. The building has a very cool history. Some apartments have a water view of the Charles River, there is even a restaurant on site. Great location and very friendly team working in the office.

Beautiful old factory building. Very upscale refurbishing. Well planned and thought out Seems to be a very nice complex for young professionals. If I had to live in Boston I easily could live here.

The rent is on the higher side but the locations is very good. Its walking distance from Moody street and close to a lot of restaurants/grocery places. The view of the Charles river is good. Would definitely recommend this place.

I recently moved out the complex was taken better car of years ago. I was one of the first tenets to move in. The prices have just gotten ridiculous and the quality has dropped! I am moving to the new Four Seasons in Boston on 30 Dalton it is not much more money and it is much nicer.

I love the apartments at Watch Factory Lofts and think Princeton Properties (Laurel, Sys, and Anthony) do a fantastic job managing the property and all of the residents. The building has so much character/charm. It offers a terrific restaurant/cafe, Brelundi, which you will love. I cant say enough good things about the Watch Factory. If you need an apartment, this is a great option!
