My friend has been living at charlesbank garden apartments for nearly a year and he is super happy there. He is living in a 2 bed 2 bath. The layout is great. The apartment is spacious. The maintenance has been prompt. Only thing is laundry is in the next building.

This place is sooooo amazing. I arrived here in 2019 and I hve never regretted living in these apartments. Management is responsive and helpful . Chris is ALWAYS willing to assist and is concerned with any issues u raise. I have lost my keys a couple of times and the management has been very responsive even during the weekend. When the refrigerator broke down - the management quickly replaced in a day with a NEW ONE! These pple are professional- they don’t cut corners! The maintenance staff always go above and beyond in fixing problems and is especially polite. For Brandeis students looking for a place to stay —- look no further ! This is the right place trust me !

I’ve lived here for two years. Let me tell you about how a WHITE MAN broke into my apartment. This white man also lives below me, and is a MAINTENANCE MAN for the complex!! Called the police, they did nothing. Management did nothing about it, I still don’t feel safe living here, and am looking to move now.Management isn’t supposed to hire tenants as employees and yet they did!!! They don’t care about the safety of their tenants. Maintenance here abuses their power, they don’t care if workers violate your lease. So many conflicts of interest with management and on top of that, the RACISM I have experienced as a minority is horrifying.If you’re old and white, sure, send in an application. But, if you want to live somewhere safe where management actually cares about it’s tennants and doesn’t violate your tenants rights, look elsewhere.

The price is good. And the responsiveness of management to my issues has been fast in the 3.5 years I have lived here. Usually, within a day and sometimes 2-3 days if they are busy, but thats rare. The snow removal is fast as well. I am surprised by the negative reviews. They treated me and my roommate well during our stay. The parking spaces are large so you dont have to worry about your car getting dinged. Summer pools fees are high, but I chose not to pay for it and use the facilities. Its a very quiet apartment complex too which is nice. I am lucky to have found it. I do live on the 3rd floor. The coin laundry is a little expensive at $2 bucks for washing machine and $2 bucks for drying.Update: I just moved out due to a new job. And again, it was a great experience and Chris is a great and amazing manager. Thanks Chris for a good stay at Charlesbank Garden Apartments.

I lived here for three years. The landlords never raised the rates, they maintained the apartment as one would expect, and were good in every way a landlord could be.They would give some leeway with late rent if you forgot to turn it in (It happened occasionally for me). The plowing was done well enough. All residents had to move their cars after a storm to plow the lot after the street was plowed.The appliances would range from new to old depending on when they were last replaced. My AC could keep my apartment like a meat-locker during the summer, but a friends unit didnt work well until it was replaced (which took longer than it should have to convince them to do).You can hear some sounds from apartments above and below you, but they are well muffled so no complaints. You are supposed to put in some amount of rug or covering to help with that.I left only because my roommate found a job in another state. If the location and price is right, I recommend this place.

Out of all the landlords Ive had, these guys have been great. Ive had some strange requests and theyve fulfilled them all: new outlets, scooter lock in the parking lot, chaining scooter to tree in winter...I couldnt have asked for a better place to live in regards to location, either. Right on the water, quiet neighborhood, and easy access to the pike and 128. The only reason Im leaving is for a bigger, single family home.

I am not sure about the great reviews of this place but I seriously doubt them. I have been living in one of the 2-bedroom apartments since November 2014, and the good thing I have noticed about this is their snow removal system is pretty good. However, I want to mention two points that could be useful to others. (1) Never ever come here as sharing your apartment but not having your name on the lease. For instance, my roommate and I share a two-bedroom apartment which is under my roommates name. If your name is not on the lease, it is likely that you will be treated like a trash, (2) stay away from the apartments in the basement. The apartments here being full of faulty constructions of heating system (they themselves admitted to that) it is almost impossible to sleep in the late night due to sudden heavy noise in the ceiling (I have been told by the guys in the office that they are due to expansion and contraction of the heating pipes)-besides, this annoying noise also seems to be quite hazardous. I have complained about this to the management several times and sent audio recordings of such noise for the last 10 months or so but they have never done anything effective to mitigate the problem.

Terrible experience with property management. Lived here for 3 years no issues - until Verizon Fios was installed in our building. All of our property in our attic storage was STOLEN. This included sentimental items, as well as bikes, outdoor gear, etc. Reported this to the property management team and they did not care. We made a police report but that went nowhere as well. VERY DISAPOINTED!We moved out soon after, and never had our stolen property returned to us, the property manager never bothered to follow up with us either.
