Services for front door installation/replacement, mailbox, lock exchange, took about 5hrs. Had to pay 2 staff costing me over $1400, a bit over priced. Should not have taken that long. However, door looks good, service was impeccable, though costly. I recommend, using service, but get an estimate and comparison shop if you have a limited budget.

The person who came to our house was professional, experienced, and quick. It was so easy to schedule them as well. Ive been having a difficult time finding a one man/woman shop to come to our house to get our work done. This company was responsive and even called to see if they could come a day early because one of their people finished another project early. I would use this company again.

Mr. Handyman provides awesome Customer Service friendly, and knowledgeable. I had three windows with rotted wood and needed new casing and moulding. The service technician John McEvoy arrived a few minutes earlier than the scheduled start time. John was very friendly and professional and did an excellent job! We will definitely use Mr. Handyman services again and again and have already discussed with John the removal of our old fencing and installation of new stockade fencing. Although, only a 5 star rating is allowed. We give John 10 stars plus!

We just had Mr. Handyman come and fix a very stuck knife drawer and stubborn door knob and install a light fixture and mount a large heavy mirror. They were very quick, very nice and the work is awesome! We are calling them back to paint our garage floor, help us install and organizational system there and mount a few kayaks. They do it all!

The tech installed a wooden hand rail on my indoor staircase, and did some minor wall repairs. He was on time, courteous, and professional, and he did a great job installing the hand rail and making the other minor repairs. Eric was our service tech and he performed 4 separate jobs while he was here. Cut and Installed molding in kitchen, repaired pull out slide holder of trash barrels, fixed door that was scraping on floor and fixed latch on bedroom door. Recaulking the bathtub. Although a fairly easy job I was hesitant thinking I’d screw it up somehow and get further water damage. Called Handyman and they were extremely pleasant. I was nervous because although the rates are reasonable I thought the job could drag on. However no worries at all. Handyman showed up on time went right to work and done in 90 minutes and did a fantastic job. Not an easy job to get quoted but would gladly recommend Handyman again.

Will never use this company again. First tech arrived and said that he cant do it and will send another tech. Later on they called and told me the second tech has a car accident and cant come. They reschedule for the next day to have someone come. Then after that sent an email stated they cant do it. Is this how you do business? If you cant do it then let me know and I will hire someone else. I took a day off to wait for the tech to come and fix the problem. My day off was a waste. Thanks to your professionalism. Do you think I will use your service and recommend to anyone else in the future? I do not think so.

Mr. Handyman (Jim Prendergast) was one of the few companies that returned my call (and I called many). After setting up a time to come and do the job, John showed up ON TIME and on the day scheduled! The rates were very reasonable, and he did a great job repairing our ice dam damage from this past winter, repainting the ceiling, and rehanging our blinds, all in a remarkably short period of time. Eric replaced back porch steps. He also rehung a basement storm door. Inside he repaired a bathroom cabinet and checked on overhead light fixture in the kitchen. No work needed for the light fixture.

I called Mr. Handyman to get some rotted boards replaced behind the gutters of my house. They told me they would look at it within a week. They ended up being able to come by the very next day to provide an estimate. They called me while they were there and quoted a price that I thought was reasonable. I agreed to the price over the phone. When I got home home, they had left a bill for $200 less than they quoted!This was a quick, efficient, and fair repair from someone that I never even saw in person, all work was done on my home while I was at work.Its not often that a vendor will come in significantly under quote once the budget is agreed upon.I would definitely use Mr. Handyman again.
