First time getting a Brazilian and my esthetician, Tina, was amazing. She was so nice and making sure I was comfortable throughout it. Also made good recommendations for after-wax care. Definitely recommend booking with her :)

I had the hardest time finding a spot to get sugared that I felt confident about. I’m so glad I found True Sugaring. My experience was perfect! I was serviced by Mya and she was so warm, welcoming and efficient! Her technique was much more gentle than I’m used to, which was a pleasant surprise. The ambiance was great with candles, music and it was extremely clean! I plan to continue coming here and look forward to exploring other services they offer, as well!

I highly recommend this place. I have been going there for several years and never had a negative experience. My esthetician is Joanna and is fabulous!!! I never had any issues with scheduling or rescheduling my appointments. This place is very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Amazing estheticians and love sugaring!

The entire team is courteous and friendly. They will assist you with appts and have helped me get back to back appts for services that I may have otherwise had to separate. Marissa is amazing! I secretly dont want to sing her praises, as I dont want her all booked up, but she really is talented!They are taking covid restriction seriously and have made it really simple to check in and provide all those details prior to your appt, which is incredibly helpful. Keep up the great work!

First visit was great, after that every time time I try to schedule an appointment it gets rescheduled/cancelled AT THE LAST MINUTE. They have zero consideration with your time which is disappointing. Today my appt got cancelled again and I won’t be trying to come back. It’s not worth it the work to book a visit when at the end they will cancel on you.

Actually all my visits, waxing and facials have been fabulous! Today I tried to book an appointment for a facial for which they wanted a down payment! That is ludicrous! I am now searching for another place as it makes no sense to pay for something prior to the service. Unbelievable,

I have had a great experience with True Waxology for the pass 3 months. they have a clean and peaceful environment.I have been waxing for more than 15 years and I found out with True Waxology that quality of wax is very good. The staff is professional and they do a great job so you feel comfortable. The most important thing is your skin turns very soft right after they finish, not red spots. the staff take the time to clean all the wax left on you and they also apply after waxing products to prevent in grown hair.I really enjoy going to True Waxology, I highly recommend this place.

Marissa is by far the best esthetician and manager Ive experienced. She communicates great with her clients and genuinely cares about her work. I dont live in California anymore, so whenever I come home to visit I make sure to visit her. She is always going above and beyond for her clients and it really shows!

I had a wonderful experience at True Waxology. It was my first Brazilian and my first time experiencing sugaring. It was nowhere near as painful as other waxing i have had. Mariah was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. She talked me through the entire procedure and made it fun. The salon is bright and clean. The owner was also very nice and welcoming. I will recommend them to all my friends and family.

After I found True Waxology, I wont go anywhere else for waxing and sugaring. The staff is super friendly and good at their jobs. The place is very clean yet still feels cozy. They have an amazing selection of delicious smelling products for sale, with most (if not all) being nontoxic and locally made. They even have complimentary tea and jelly beans! Its worth the drive. Oh, and you can book over the phone or online.

I wouldve given this place 5 stars for the sugar waxed Brazilian alone but thats not the only service Ive had there. I use to get my legs and armpits sugar waxed but they would rush the legs and leave hairs behind in both areas. Even after I pointed out areas for improvement the technicians still couldnt do it. Considering the price for those services, I felt that this was substandard. I decided to sugar wax myself to see if I could do a better job and I did. I dont have the stomach to wax my vagina so I will continue to be a client for that purpose. Also, the serum they sale for ingrown hair prevention and smooth skin is amaze balls!! All of the other feedback Ive read about this business prior to my comment is accurate. You will enjoy being a client there.

True Waxology is my go to spot for waxing and sugaring in Walnut Creek. The place is gorgeous, clean and the staff is caring. I usually wax but this time I tried sugaring for my Brazilian and brows. It was amazing! I was less sensitive after and felt like my skin stayed hairless much longer. I truly believe that once you try sugaring, you never go back to waxing. Lucia did a great job on my brows, she put a lot of care into shaping these caterpillars. Give them a try!

Getting a Brazilian wax is such a personal experience, for first timers it can be down right nerve wracking. While I am a Brazilian faithful I do not look forward to it due to the discomfort, even though I love the results. Not the case with True Waxology & Skincare. This was my first time venturing away from my usual shop where I get waxed.The staff at True Waxology & Skincare made me feel at ease. Mariah made me feel very comfortable, she has great dexterity. I tried Sugaring for the time and absolutely loved it. For one, sugaring is A LOT less painful then getting a hard wax, additionally its ORGANIC! I highly recommend them! Ill definitely be back!

Services offered are great. Girls offer a lot of info. Felt fresh. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because I hate hair and I feel like there were a lot of ones missed. Had to pluck after... not enjoyable. But if youre not super ocd about it you might be fine.

Ive been getting waxed and tweezed since I was 18. Im really particular about hair removal. Its hard for me to find estheticians that I true and understand how my hair works.What I like most about True Waxology is that they are one of the only salons in the East Bay that offer Sugaring. I tried this service once in NY and was never able to find it here in the Bay Area and since I live in Oakland, Id prefer to get these services done on this side of the bridge.I also love chatting with Mariah and Lucia - they are both super friendly and professional!
