Dennis and Jeff are AWESOME. I agree with the other reviewers in this blog. Its a father and son shop and they have several times just looked at my car and gave me their advice (free of charge). They are people you can trust - which is VERY rare in the industry. Hands down would recommend them to ANYONE - my father has been going to them for years and I wouldnt go anywhere else now myself

Great service and honest. When I went to pick up my car after my first service they were explaining to a woman that the reason her bill was $79 rather than $850 was because the problem was just a bad connection rather than a bad heater. I knew my car had found a home!

I have been taking my 87 560SL here for more than 10 years and have been very happy with their service. They keep my car running extremely well. Their prices are fair and they have gone above & beyond when necessary to resource parts for my car. I cannot recommend them more highly.

We have owned an SLK for 14 years and for most of those years we had it serviced at Mercedes dealerships. About two years ago we heard about Yorks Motorwerke, took our car there for an analysis, and have been returning there for service. We are happy with the change to Yorks. Dennis and Jeff are professional, straight-talkers, happy to explain technical work, caring, and friendly. Whenever there is doubt about a repair or concern that their effort did not result in successfully resolving an issue, they take responsibility and make it right with us, the client. We feel our car and we are Yorks priority and that we are in good hands with them as our cars service agents.

John York runs an honest and reliable car repair shop. Yorks focus is on Mercedes Benz, but I bring them all my cars because I trust them. He maintains high standards of work and customer service. Dennis schedules the appointments and is the front man for the shop. They stand behind their work with a warranty. Highly recommend!

All of the staff are polite and they listen well, especially when there is a problem. They stand behind their work without excuse. I keep taking my car back as it is now running better than when I first brought it in13 years ago. At over 220,000 miles it runs like a new car. This is still true at 250,000+ miles.

Really great staff, I was laughing while was there yet never felt like there was an absence of professionalism. Very honest on what is needed and not really needed yet, never felt like I was getting robbed like some other places I have been to. I highly recommend going here if you have a Mercedes.

Both of these guys just get it when it comes to running a Mercedes automotive service business. They are straight, direct and very customer focused. There are never any unanswered questions. Ive been a customer of Yorks Motorwerke for a few years now and I am their #1 fan. They specialize in MBZ but work on all German makes (Audi, BMW, VW, etc.). We have been using Yorks to service our various Mercedes ever since we brought them our 1986 560SL almost 20 years ago after the local MB dealer told us it needed a top end for a rough idle. John identified the problem as a vacuum leak and resolved the issue for around a $100.00 instead of the several thousand the dealer estimated. Many years and several cars later still the only mechanics we trust.

I have been taking my cars to John for 30 years and dont ever want to take my car anywhere else. I always get the truth from John and his crew and they always fix it!!!!! And with a smile. There is NO place like home with yorks Motorwerkes!!!!!!!After writing this Ad months ago I found the need to add to what Yorks brings to the table of maintaining my Mercedes.I have 37,000 on my car, 6 years old, engine light went on, Yorks diagnosed the problem as being related to the Catalytic converter on my car, which was under a 70,000 warranty with Mercedes, they drove the car to Oakland Mercedes for me, 8 days later delivered me the car fixed and it was under the warranty which Yorks new and I didnt. Then through this process even after the repair engine light kept coming on, back to Yorks, he put on computer and guess what same problem, back to Mercedes for a second repair, ...... no car for a total of 10 days mind you, then weeks later Engine Light on again, Yorks guided me through the nightmare with Mercedes in Oakland, still after a 3rd time Im not sure the repair has been made property, but thank you Yorks and John and his staff at least Im understanding what is going on. If not for Yorks there is NO way I would think of buying a Mercedes!!!!!! They arent worth the problems.
