Worst experience today because of the manager Gary, he thinks he owns the store and wouldnt honor their price tags on the wall or at least try. Im taking this to corporate office. He took the price down on the spot because he knew they made an error. Gary has failed to guide his store and keep product prices up to date. Mr. Gary either has terrible people skills or maybe he looks at everyone from head to toe.
The service and price were both exceptional. We bought a grill and the young man who assisted us was very helpful he loaded it, rolled it thru the check out for me and even helped my husband put it in our vehicle.
Clerk working self service checkout was outstanding. I picked up lawn mower in open box. She recognized the item as having been returned earlier with missing part. Outstanding customer service by this clerk. A young African American female working about 4:30.pm at Waldorfs Lowes.
Flooring is difficult to find help BUT Lisa, and Mary at the registers were awesome!

Not many Pep Boys left in texas where I live and now I know why. They advertise that they have a speed shop so I went there to get a stud to hook up the throttle and transmission kick down cable. I walked down the speed shop aisle and there was hardly any merchandise so I went to the parts counter and asked the counter man for the parts I needed. He then told me if it wasnt down the speed shop aisle they didnt have it. I told him there hardly any merchandise down the speed shop aisle. He said they were phasing out the speed shop. I asked to borrow a pair of calipers to measure a stud I had and he said they didnt have any. Needless to say I wont be going back there again. Manny and Mo aint got Jack in there store in Waldorf
We dealt with Carlos in the Door Department and he was Superb! He knew what we needed and was very thorough with his feedback! He was worth the wait!
I always refuse to go here, and on the occasion I tried to order something online and pick it up in store, they sent my order to largo, Maryland for in store pick up. Are you kidding me? I’m not driving an hour and 20 minutes for spray paint when it says they have 25 in stock. No to mention when my wife went inside to try and find it, she asked for help from and associate to get it from the overhead stock the employee left and never came back. This store needs some help. I will start reviewing every attempt I try to go from here forward.
Jasmine in appliances is wonderful!! Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful...and pleasant and kind to her customers. However, Linda, the woman working the blinds dept today was not a pleasant person. We were very kind to her and patient, waiting over 40 min, while she was on the phone with a customer, for her to assist us. She was impatient with us making us feel we were putting her out. She couldnt even pretend to be nice and our blinds were a mess to put in the car because she didnt bother to clean up the residue with the hand brushes she was supposed to use. I hope to never encounter her again. She certainly shouldnt be interacting with customers.
A simple online order placed. A garden hose. Where have these pickup lockers been all my life? Am I late to the party cause this is the way to go if you know what you want and its relatively small. Just order ahead, wait for the Its ready in a locker email or status in the app and then go pick it up with the provided barcode. You dont even have to touch the screen when you get there like those UPS lockers. Just scan and go. Love it!
Purchased a grill to be assembled AND delivered.The delivery was postponed WITHOUT notice for two days. When the grill arrived, it was dirty and dented as well as rusted. The grill was USED.After 15 minutes on hold we got through to a manager at the store. He apologized for the mistake and assured we would get our NEW grill in three days after a new shipment and the assemblers put the grill together.Well, that day came and we recived a phone call stating the assemblers didnt show up and it would be another day for the grill. Nobody from the store nor customer service seemed to care about the poor handling of this.
Not good at all I called when I got there parked in curbside pickup space number one and waited for over an hour for someone to bring out my purchases. A gentleman pulled up an hour after I got there and I watched as his purchases were brought out immediately it was only after I stopped a gentleman and asked him whether or not he worked at Lowes and explain to him that Ive been waiting for over an hour that I was able to have my purchases delivered to me
First off stood in line for almost 1 hr waiting to get serviced in paint by the time I got help the representative clearly wasn’t trained to work in this department/ I asked to be matched he advised me to bring a piece of my wall which I found hilarious! Then while in your store for 1 hr I had to use the restroom! I’ve seen public gas station bathrooms more sanitary how can you operate during a height of a pandemic with disgusting bathrooms and incompetent staff disaster I won’t be returning to this location ever again Waldorf you really need to evaluate what your business model is and train and coach your staff!
Can understand the stuffy conditions within, but most everything that I shop for ISNT AT THIS LOCAL LOWES!! I literally have to go to La Plata to get the better stuff! Taking guesses on why that is, but wont divulge based on local area customer base. Can do WAY better!
Got plexiglass ask to have cut after waiting for help 23 minutes. In a electric wheelchair he wouldnt cut and ask him to help me take it up too front no as I can pulling it with being in a chair. That was rude and nasty of helping a handicap person. I have COPD and a very bad back.This took place 2 days ago. Yesterday good service
I walked in the store at 2:36 and didn’t leave until 3:46 as there was no associate available to assist me in purchasing ONE item. I came in to purchase a $399.99 EGO mower, however, none were on the floor. They were all on the very tops of the shelves. An associate by the name of Mac tried to assist me but that wasn’t his department nor was he able to lift the heavy mower after an attempt with the hydraulic lifter. He said he’d find someone to help. After no one showed, I went to find a supervisor. I didn’t get his name but explained to him I’d been there for an hour waiting for someone to retrieve the mower but haven’t been helped. He went to get another hydraulic lifter while another employee by the name of A Jae came with a lifter as well. A Jae finally got the mower down and sent me on my way. I got to the register and the cashier didn’t greet me, just asked did I want to apply for a credit card. I didn’t. After I paid full price, I lugged this mower to my car and had to play Tetris to make it fit. After 10 minutes, I hear the supervisor behind me taking my cart. Then, as I’m leaving, I see him helping a young lady put a lawn chair in her car. Not only was I not offered a discount for my wait, I wasn’t offered assistance in loading it being as though it was a 2 person job. Yes, I got it loaded myself but some sort of consolation would have made up for the hour wait, be it a discount or simple assistance with loading it.
It was not my experience, but my daughters. I think she was satisfied.
My refrigerator started acting up. I went to oxon hill home depot. It was a waste of my time. Tried Lowes in Clinton. They didnt have anything I wanted in stock. Went to Waldorf Lowes. Saw Mark who I remembered from many years ago. when he worked at home depot. He took care of me and got me next day delivery. Will update this review after installation. Refrigerator arrived next day. The installation went smoothly. The two men did there job efficiently. The Refrigerator is working nicely. I recommend mark to help with your appliance purchases.
A very nice salesman helped us out with a cabinet and mirror and a toilet i like Home Depot as well but Lowe will also be my go to place.
The associate that helped me (four times in less than an hour) was so cordial and knowledgeable. I wish I had gotten his name.

I purchased a grill from Lowes for my husband for a fathers Day and the one I received was in terrible condition!Upon getting it home it took me over an hour to scrub what I thought was a light layer of pollen but turned out to be a thick layer of mud and grime off this brand new grill. Under the grime was several spots of rust.I called requesting to speak with a manager and the service agent was quite rude telling me to just bring it back and return it as if relocating a giant grill is a simple task. I repeated that I would like to speak to a manager and she put me on hold before disconnecting the call.I am beside myself that they consider this appropriate - I paid hundreds for a brand new grill and the one I received looked as if I picked it up from a yard sale. It had clearly been sitting outside with no protection for quite some time. To then receive awful service when I tried to rectify the situation is beyond unacceptable.I just purchased a new home and have already spent way more at this store in the past month than I probably ever will again. I recommend taking your business elsewhere.

I ordered curbside service from Home Depot. Said delayed due to high volume. 24 hrs later still not ready.Asked if I could just come in and get it and was told no so I cancelled order.Placed same order at Lowes 1 block away. Got the same high volume message . 3 hrs later order was ready.Young man who loaded my car was super nice and courteous.I ordered curbside because being elderly I couldnt load the rocking chairs.Thank you Lowes
I visited this Lowes while I was in town helping out my parents with errands. A big shout out to Mac in the lighting department who helped me find the 3-way light bulbs my father uses. After searching for 10 min, he offered to help locate the specific light. He got down on his knees and reached way back on the lower shelf to find them. He also shared information with me on the different LED light options.Then off to the turning in two propane tanks and puchasing two filled tanks. Both ladies that helped me were friendly and helpful. Thank you!I definately will be back to this location when I come back next month for the next projects!

Waited nearly 30 min to hav keys made, and non one showed up to service me. Although an associate called for assistance on my behalfLeft to go to home depot for the same service. Keys were made quickly, no issues.
If zero was an option I definitely would have rated this location just that. This has got to be the worst location. Im in the process of having wood floors installed in my home and we all know thats very expensive just for material alone I spent close to $3,500.00. The workers are lazy, never at there post and when you finally get someone, they tell you Im off the clock or Im too busy. I can never go into this store and get someone that has a professional attitude. People dont waste your time going to this location.
Store is good but checking out is unacceptable. With current climate of more people shopping at Lowes and rise I. Your prices, please add more register for easier and faster process. Most managers know the weekends will be busy at this stage, why are still having one or two checkout stations?

This place has just the worst customer service. But potentially worse than la Plata. An items price was mislabeled. So I was the one who had to go and take a photo of the price as labeled. And then I was told they wouldnt honor their mistake. They would make it right on the shelf but they wouldnt make it right for me.
Online pick up took 2 hrs. Order was not pulled and ready even though I received a text that it was. Customer service rep said she didnt know how long it would take. Associate in the flooring dept helped with the manager to get it pulled and ready. Very disappointing Charles County Lowes
I wish there was more help around it was hard finding someone to help. But overall we found what we needed and the customer service at checkout was great the employee was very nice and helpful!
Lowes always has what I need for home improvement or repair and my garden. Additionally, their employees are every ready to assist in locating, recommending, and lifting and loading heavier items.
The staff I dealt with was great! The other customers however have no respect for anyone else. It was clearly THEIR world and refused to acknowledge anyone else was there.
My wife’s dad gave her a gift card to Lowe’s and the lady at the register refused to accept the card without the drivers license matching the credit card that bought the card. She then proceeded to call my wife a thief saying she stole the gift card. This is the last straw for us at Lowe’s as it has been one horrific customer service experience after another. Home Depot is our place of choice now forever. I hope Lowe’s goes out of business. Shame on you. Both Waldorf and La Plata locations are despicable with rude staff including managers who do nothing to help and side with employees instead of customers.

Lacking in people for help but I eventually found what I needed on my own.
I did love shopping there. If they dont have it in stock I can order it to come to my home or the store. The associates are knowledgeable and helpful.I did have an unusually eventful visit on March 26th. I grabbed all of the dead and spent hyacinths. I figured they would charge at the most $1.00 for each. I had 17 in all. Regular price was $5.98. There were no flowers or green leaves in the pots. They were all brown, dried up and dead. The outside garden manager wanted to charge $4.00 for each one. I could not believe it. It would have been cheaper to buy 3 bags of bulbs. Her answer was they changed prices. Im sure they didnt raise the price of dead flowers that high. I guess Ill have to go to LaPlata to get the type of service and prices Im accustomed too. I gave 3 stars because of the outside garden manager. It wasnt 10:30 yet and already she was burned-out with helping customers. I now know if I see her coming to RUN!🤣
Most of the employees are helpful. The only problem i have is the long waits at the register on the weekends.

I wish I could give 0 stars. NEVER come to the Lowe’s in Waldorf and need flooring done. We waited for 20 minutes and received no help. The guy who was first here came and told us he was off and then walked to the front and never came back (I am guessing he left). Just terrible customer service. They just either have a lot of money and don’t need anyone, or don’t care to help their customers. This is ridiculous!!!!! Just travel about further to LaPlata for better service.
We went to Lowe’s at Waldorf today shopping for some lumbar. We needed some cuttings to be done. We waited for more than 45 min. Asked numerous ppl for help to no avail. Thanks to Frank from the Re Bath came to our rescue. It was not his department but he was willing to help. We appreciate him

I liked the prices of most items and the customer service. I garden year around and like to keep my beds and compost pile ready for the coming season. But I was disappointed with most gardening items being out of stock and the area unattended.

Exactly I went to Home Depot first service there was terrible. So left and went to Lowes. I went to the Lumber selection. I found a associate. He helped with no problem. The only thing was they said they stop cutting the ply wood. I even got helped placing it in the car. Very good service. I will be back.

Was just there tonight and there was only one cashier open and no self check out. I had my arms loaded with stuff I just dropped it on a shelf somewhere and walked out. The line for check out was all the way down one aisle. I’d love to shop there but Home Depot is much more efficient. Also I couldn’t tell who the employees were some guy who asked if I needed help had on a dark blue T-shirt and no identification that he worked at Lowe’s
Was accused of stealing paint when I came in to get my paint mixed from 5 months ago. Also, didnt even get it mixed because they said since they dont even sell the brand they cant mix it.
My father paid 3,000 for a door over 4 months ago and we still haven’t got it. He keeps getting the same song and dance every time he goes in to talk with them they blame it on the manufacturer all I know is they have 3,000 and my parents have nothing.
Went to get some new flowers and vegetables for my yard. Lots of selection and helpful staff.

I was excited to go Lowes. We dont have on nearby in Vermont or New Hampshire. My family on the West Coast always mentions their trips to Lowes. I felt I was missing out. When I was in Maryland I had the opportunity to finally go to Lowes. It was very disappointing. There were no shopping carts available or portable shopping baskets anywhere. All the other customers searching for carts seemed to be equally as confused. The one and only clever employee in sight grabbed a Lowes bucket that you can purchase and suggested using that. Other than that one employee and a few cashiers there wasnt a single employee in sight to assist with anything. The isles werent labeled correctly. In the isle labeled Cleaning there werent any cleaning supplies. It contained shelving. All the other isles werent labeled correctly either. Their prices on cleaning supplies once I did find them were on average $2.00 higher than at Walmart, Homedepot and my local hometown hardware stores! After my 1st and last shopping experience at Lowes I realized I wasnt missing out. It made me much happier to be able to shop our locally owned hardware stores where shopping carts are plentiful. The employees are always on hand, friendly and very knowledgeable. It also made me appreciate the Homedepot in Keene NH. At least there the isles are labeled correctly and the staff will walk you to the items you need and assist in finding things for you.

Needs improvement, store in disarray, needs better customer service. If the staff sees a customer looking around for items, ask if they need help, let the customer feel as if they should not have to go over to Home Depot to find what they need.
Youll have to be careful about looking for some items. Some of the items that I ordered online were reportedly not in the store. But I found them 4 feet from the counter. Sigh.
Store in Waldorf appears to be kept and managed better than store in Bowie.

My encounter was pleasant but not appreciated. While I appreciate being offered a Military discount after showing my Military ID because I wasnt in the stores system I was denied the discount. Issue for me is I have never been denied the discount or looked for in the system. I just showed my ID and made my purchase with the discount applied. I just dont like inconsistent rules.

Lowe’s store 402 In Waldorf MD has again proven to be the absolute worst Lowe’s in the DMV. Sunday May1st - beautiful warm day so people are out getting plants, paint, etc., 402 has ONE (1) register open outside and TWO (2) inside. All three have lines to the back of the store. Several people attempting to find the manager who is missing in action - not that he is much of a manager. This was the last chance for this store until their corporate wakes up and replaces him and puts in self-check. Lowe’s 402 - has nowhere to go but up - they couldn’t get more “Lowe”
I recently purchased a stove I was told that the delivery people will call me the day before to set up a delivery time which is tomorrow. No one ever called so I decided to call the store today and was told that I was put on a 12 hour window for delivery. I told the lady I never asked for a 12 hour window who asked them to do that. I then asked to speak to the store manager and was told that he was on break. I had issues with the store prior when I paid for someone to come out to measure my kitchen and get a kitchen estimate. I never received the estimate. I’m through with this Lowe’s. I will be calling the corporate office Monday morning.
Once again, this particular Lowe’s in my opinion should be closed down. Don’t try to call and speak with someone you would be wasting your time. The returns line take so long one could drive to another store, return the item, come back to this one and the line still would not have moved. Trying to find limber carts is a task in itself just to find that all of them aren’t taken by customers but by the store with all there merchandise. I hope the new CEO or someone who’s reading these reviews visit this store and make the necessary changes. Therefore, I will shop at the Lowe’s further out of my or not shop there at all.

You may find everything at Lowe’s, but, their cabinets, are awful, they look good in the store, they are very thin and the brackets for the shelves, don’t work!! I guess the shelves are too big!Also, We didn’t have enough brackets and three of the cabinets are missing their shelves!! 😩
Friendly and professional. It took longer than expected to receive the curbside order but met all other expectations.
I was disappointed. I needed filters for my Stanley shop vac. Although the pictures on the shelves showed the products, many of the bins were completely void of the products.
