I visited this location for the first time mainly because I notice consistent low Crowd O Meter levels. My home gym has similar levels, but from time to time I like to visit other PF locations to compare. However, once I arrived and began to use the Waldorf PF I expected more. My home gym is the Penn Branch PF just over the Washington DC border on Pennsylvania Ave. I assumed the equipment at the Waldorf PF would be upgraded like the Penn Branch location, but it was not. The equipment condition at the Waldorf PF was fair in comparison and I loved how very spacious it was! For those who live in Waldorf the facility is fine, just not what Im used to. Unless Im visiting friends in the Waldorf area, I probably would not come here again. This review is not an indictment on the Waldorf PF, just sharing my experience and thoughts.

Always clean! Staff friendly and helpful. Ive been coming to this location for about 5 months now. People are focused on their fitness and are focused on their fitness goals. I like it here.

Had an awesome workout and was most excited about the hydro massage at the end. 😍

At the time, I go it is really no one to assist you with use of the equipment. It is quiet, no one breathing down your neck for a turn on equipment.

Excellent local gym, clean, friendly staff. Open 24 hours. I recommend using Planet Fitness.

I like to go to PF and really use all of my BlackCard entitlements😂😂😂 Some, people seem like they are to busy to turn on the tanning bed or the hydro massage bed. I had a great experience with one little professional lady, Anayee, I think her name was spelled that way😂, she was really courteous and had a pleasant smile on her face with every interaction!!!

They are getting better and cleanliness. Ive been going back because of that. Pre-covid, caught a flu there, but decided to give another chance. They are passing toward the right direction. Good job there.

Very clean but its a stupid rule to have to wear mask while doing cardio.I cant figure out howbto reply to a reply so ill add to this. Planet Fitness i appologize for saying that in a rude way. Its just its hard enough to breathe while running most gyms allow you to take it off while doing cardio (that why every other machine is closed). I know you are just following your own rules but maybe look into adjusting that one?

I am sharing this out of utter disgust and frustration. These concerns have been shared with staff who appear to be very nice and respectable people. Nonetheless here we go...If you want COVID or any other airborne disease, this is the place to be. Despite rules requiring mask to worn, people are blatantly not wearing them; especially on Saturdays. The overall sanitation of the place is despicable.

A lot of equipment not working.missing weights,dirty mirrors,employees just standing around talking to one another as cleaning supplies go low to empty.

Crowded! So crowded that 45-50% of the cleaning spray bottles were just bubbles coming out! Good they are being used but not so good that they are empty...otherwise its just crowded but now that seems to be the norm in Waldorf.

Enjoyed the space. They make use of a small area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Shout out to Paul for giving my wife and I the tour of the facility. Clean equipment, nice spa area, LOTS of treadmills!!! 30 minute Express workout looks pretty nice. No childcare facility,but thats how they keep the cost down. Wish they would have a basketball court (might have missed it), a pool, and sauna. Would recommend for someone who needs to get in the gym at a nice price.

The price is good. Its clean. The staff are kind. So far its pretty good. It isnt crowded and the members seem to also be doing their parts in keeping everyone safe.

Very nice and clean gym with updated equipment. The staff is helpful and accommodating. The gym is well lit up inside and out which is important due to the hours.

Still a great place to exercise. Friendly atmosphere and up to date equipment. Die to a stroke, I hadnt been out to exercise in two years but in returning I find it to still be a place where you can comfortably grow and get back to where you were. Staff is friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work.

Bathrooms are always dirty. Mirrors need to be wiped on a regular. Overall, I think it could be a cleaner. It’s convenient and the front desk is welcoming.

This is the best gym I have ever worked out in. I love the atmosphere. People are so friendly not only everyone that works there but all of the people who workout here too!!Very reasonable price

Just joined two days ago. very clean throughout. the staff has all been very friendly. equipment has all been working and well maintained. good selection to choose from.I highly highly advise new prospects considering this gym fully understand this is not a weight lifting gym. this is STRICTLY a health oriented gym. the equipment nor the atmosphere will NOT support heavy lifting and bodybuilding.thank you management and staff!!

This location is one of the best Ive been to. The GM at this location is super sweet and the employees are always very attentive to my needs. Its nice walking into an establishment where they remember you and your preferences. Highly recommended!

Didnt even want to give one star, the environment for planet fitness is awesome and the price for memberships is cool compared to many other gyms. Its just at this location, whenever I tried to speak to the general manager I they would tell me please hold then hang up. Like i dont think Im asking rudely or costing any problems for asking for the GM but if i am then be professional and tell me what the problem is. So that being said, when it comes to the staff, they are not the best at all in at this location

Devon really pushes me once he knew how strong I got! Hes a nice guy.

Some of the staff are really nice and friendly. Place is always clean so is the equipments. The customers are shown appreciation every first monday with pizza, and bagel on first Tuesday. Everyone wants to feel appreciated so for this I give them a thumbs up!

I like the no-nonsense atmosphere and the personal trainer is good and funny-- Devon! Check out his classes! Simple workouts without all the fluff.

My husband stopped by the gym to get a cancellation form and they said they did not have any. Further, he asked the front desk to look up my name and they said I was not in the system. From the main site this is what you are SUPPOSED to be able to do: To cancel your Planet Fitness membership: You must either go to you local Planet Fitness to fill out a cancellation form, OR send a letter (preferably via certified mail) to the club, requestion cancellation. You must provide: Statement of intent to cancel membership.

Clean, spacious and friendly staff. What more could you want from an affordable gym? If only theyd open a gym in La Plata...

For the price you cant beat it

The club is always clean and staff are friendly. Ive been a member for almost 3 years have always been happy with the amenities and service provided.

First planet fitness that I joined and the staff is very friendly and personable. TC is a trainer there and she even when out the way one day to help me find my phone I lost in the parking lot. Aside from that the gym has everything I need for a good workout and a nice staff is a plus.

Enjoyed my visit and the Staff was very helpful and friendly.

They need better surveillance cameras and more surveillance cameras. Be careful what you put even in the drink holder. Dont leave anything even for 3 seconds to go get the alcohol and paper to wipe down your machine.

You totally get whats promised in the membership! Open 24hrs a day!😊

Went to this location for the first time on 2/18. Was greeted and shown around by Cameron who was very rude, impolite and unprofessional. He stated he was very busy, and didt have any time so he ran me around the facility and then ran off. I even had a member come to me and said she saw what happened and told me I should talk to Melissa or Devon if I had any questions.. I did talk to Melissa and made an appointment with Devon, they were both courteous and helpful. Cameron needs customer service training.

The staff was friendly. The locker area and restrooms are clean. The equipment was clean, floors were free of debris, and cleaning stations were stocked and clean.

Pretty nice atmosphere but they need a larger facility for the clientele they have. They could also use a larger TRX machine

This facility is well maintained and clean. There is plenty of cardio equipment available even during peak hours. There is also a large variety of free weights and weight machines for strength training. The staff is friendly and the fitness coach is knowledgeable and offers a large number of fitness classes.

Its a rather average Planet Fitness, nothing spectacular or amazing about it.Pros:Open 24/7.Lots of treadmills & cardio equipment.Cons:No free weights.Dumbbells dont go past 60 lbs.

Great experience, not too crowded and I do not have to wait for the equipment. My suggest is to have aerobics and spin classes.

After midnight sucks, guy at front desk has bad attitude when you ask him to do anything like set you up for the message bed. The mens locker room is a hang out for a bunch of dudes that are so loud you can hear them out in the exercise room and the staff seems to be ok with it. Other than the people the gym is pretty cool.

Staff is nice, clean equipment. Could use more smith machines, wait times for those machines are high during peak hours. Plenty of cardio machines and misc. machines around. Needs more free weights, dumbbells only go up to 60lbs. Otherwise good gym for the money.

A good place for me because I can come at anytime of the day. It has the machines I need for my goals. Just a simple but nice place to workout.

The best time to go is after 8 PM. The staff is friendlier. I wish I could take someone(trainer) in with me to show me how to use all the equipment. Your fitness training times are too early for me.

Signed up to work out before I left for training. Due to moving circumstances, I had to cancel my membership there. Didnt go once and was only signed up for one week. Still charged me the 58 dollars to cancel. Would not recommend this gym at all. The staff was not willing to help at all.

The gym is always very clean and both the staff and patrons are accommodating and polite. Ive only heard the lunk alarm twice in a few years so I cant say theres a meathead problem. My only issues right now would be one of the water fountain buttons is broken; and rarely I have someone, not participating, but still using the equipment in the 30 minute workout area in the way. Its a great gym for an insomniac, though.

Should be able to get drinks at any planet fitness not just your home one

This Planet Fitness location is clean and the staff is friendly. They need to put the red light machine at this location. Also they play the same music over and over again. The music needs to be updated.

Cheep planet fitness facility I’ve seen so far... Be sure to bring your locks, shower soap, etc... Staff are rude — no intentions to ever go there again.

This location is disappointing. The restrooms are usually nasty. There is dust balls and grime everywhere. The equipment seems worn and / or poorly assembled. Some of the employees are rude and condescending. I wish it was a Gold ‘s gym nearby.

My son and I go together. The staff are great with showing you around, the facility stays clean and the atmosphere is definitely a no judgment zone, as they advertise.

Mind blown!!!went here on a Sunday, for the first time ever.I needed an emergency gym because all my regulars didnt open til at least 0800.All I can say is, how can you call this a gym?The front desk was cool enough to let me workout for free because I was interested, after I asked about a day pass.Im so glad I didnt buy one!I wouldnt have bought a pass if it was a penny.After I walked around the gym to checkout the equipment, I couldnt find the bench press.I smiled and asked two guys who were doing bicep curls, and they laughed at me saying bench press?.It was at that moment I realized I was in a pathetic adult daycare center masquerading as a gym.I noticed the ridiculous judgement free zone propaganda, the asinine lunk alarm, the lack of any strength training equipment, the Monday night pizza and Bagel mornings, a free BUCKET of tootsie rolls at the front desk.I worked hard to get the body I always wanted.Pizza, tootsie rolls, and bagels are exactly the obstacle to such a thing. This place is diabolically deceptive.it is so obvious whats going on here.The business model is simple.offer a price thats low, so people will join; Keep them from getting in shape, discourage advancement.The sheer hypocracy of judgement free zone is evident by the lunk alarm.Seriously!?How can such weak pathetic snowflakes dare call this a gym?NO ONE, and I repeat NO ONE, will ever achieve any significant strength gains from this baby center.Yes its obvious I wont be back.The main reason Im so upset, is because I thought it would be a great gym to join so I could rotate another gym into my workout regimen.I guess if all I ever wanted was cardio, maybe.Or if I wanted to maintain a Walmart body.If you are considering a membership here, know this. Cardio is 80% of their equipment.Cardio NEVER gets you lean or strong. In fact, cardio will bring you to a plateau, and keep you there faster than lifting free weights without ever increasing the weight.Pushups at home will get you more results than this place.Sordidly disappointed.

They are thieves! Double charge and triple charge watch out, you will pay for one month and three days later YOU are paying the same month again, when I wanted to cancel they told me I owed two months what are you serious I left and when to Fitness Evolution!

I visited this location today and was extremely disappointed. The equipment is beginning to rust and the exercise bike I was on was making a lot of noise and slipping. There was a woman on one of the machines flat out sleeping. After my workout, I asked to use one of the massage chairs since the hydro beds were both in use. The only massage chair available was occupied by someone eating a bucket of wings.....There is no staff member on the floor cleaning down the equipment or doing any spot checks as I am accustomed to seeing at my home gym. This is the first and last time I intend to visit this location. Corporate needs to inspect this gym. I wouldve definitely cancelled my membership if this was the only one available for me to use.
