I am doing a small remodel and needed to extend the existing hardwoods into the space where I removed a door and some tile. I got a few quotes from other hardwood flooring companies and they wanted too much for the size of the job and couldnt get me on their schedule in a timeframe that worked for me. Then I found Ted at All American Hardwood Flooring.We talked about the job on the phone and he came out the next day to take a look and provide guidance and an estimate. We agreed on a number which was much more reasonable than the other options and set the ball in motion.Over the next couple of days, I finished up the framing work I needed to do and Ted brought the oak bundles over to let them acclimate. A few days later he came by and quickly finished the installation which involved weaving a number of boards into the existing hallway. He came back a few days later to sand and then stopped by a few times over the next several days to stain and apply several coats of polyurethane. The work was done on time with care, professionalism and a high degree of craftsmanship.I have attached a few pictures to show off the results. If I didnt tell you that this was an add-on, you would be sure that all of the hallway was installed at the same time!If you are in need of hardwood installation, updates or refinishing, I would definitely recommend giving Ted a call.

Excellent customer service and beautiful work from this company and its owner, Ted. Couldnt be more pleased with the end result. We were remodeling our kitchen and took out a wall only to discover our Brazilian cherry floors werent continued under the wall. A friend recommended Ted for the repair which involved replacing the kitchen flooring and weaving it back into the rest of the downstairs flooring. Then the entire downstairs had to be refinished. While we were at it, we decided to replace the staircase and upstairs hall carpeting with Brazilian cherry. This was a big project and took awhile to complete. We gave Ted a key to our home and felt very comfortable with him. Would highly recommend this business.

I called and spoke to the rep on the phone. Friendly enough. However no follow through. Could not get an appointment set. Took pictures and sent my information and the rep disappeared on me. Honestly when the real estate market is strong getting a quality contractor is next to impossible. But when the cycle goes the other direction as it always does, its amazing how many returned calls are returned. Customer service should be everyones first job.
