I would not recommend renting a UHaul from these people. Its a small gas station and convenience store. Only one person on staff at a time. So a line of people wanting to buy stuff or pay for gas, and the UHaul rental person pulling double-duty and running back and forth. So signing in and signing out takes a whole lot of time, made worse by the fact he obviously had no idea how to use the system. Worse yet: I rented a van for a measly 12 miles. Put gas in it to bring it back to exactly where it was on the fuel gauge, maybe a little higher - and the guy tries to charge me 12 fuel charge!! I called BS, and he said he would take care of it. So what did he do? Reduce the BS fuel charge to 6 dollars for the discrepancy. And the way they had the payment card reader set up, he didnt print out the final invoice for me to see until after I had signed....thinking he took the 12 dollar BS fuel charge off completely. Nice surprise. NEVER AGAIN. :o( I have complained twice in the last 30 years. These guys earned it and then sum.
Tried to drop off truck. Told me his system was down and he had no idea when it would be running. Then told me to take it to another drop off location. He clearly had no interest in trying to take the truck back.His directions were clear “take it down the road to another UHaul place”Makes you wonder how UHaul oversees there independent drop off points.
