Professional service, reasonable price, reasonable speed. Staff answers the phone and answers questions. Mechanics took their time with me, explaining everything and giving good options. They also went ahead and fixed the minor stuff they found during the repair. Highly recommend, even if you have to drive from Lahaina like me!

Aloha!, I met the owner Dave, asked if they can check out my 05 Jeep Liberty Limited 4x4 2.8L 4cyl Turbo Diesel with just over 74k miles. I just purchased this vehicle and it stopped running. Ken (mechanic) was able to diagnose the problem (fuel Injection pump). I also requested to r/r the water pump, timing belt, serpentine belt, pulleys, thermostat and housing, seals, hoses, etc. Very happy with the awesome service that got me back on the road! Ken gave me an estimate, ordered parts, replaced all parts and got the KJ running smooth, starts right up, motor feels tight, seems quieter, he made sure to replace any worn parts. Awesome repair work!!!

This is what you will get here: technical expertise, long-standing professional experience, a big clean shop, clear & honest communication, humble family values, efficient service, and peace of mind knowing they will give your vehicle exactly what it needs and nothing that it doesnt but will let you know of issues that might be on the horizon. All at a fair price and never any pressure. Its rare to find a business like this nowadays, in or out of this industry. They have really hung onto the solid old-fashion values of quality, honesty and service. We are blessed to have them here.

Over the years, I have entrusted Dave and the guys to service all our cars. Everyone who has worked on the cars have been very thorough and complete. We have an older (2000) minivan that were just trying to keep on the road for a while longer. Dave and Ken have been very good to us, doing just what needed to be done, while keeping us informed about what else we really ought to be doing. Our van broke down on a Friday around noon (needed a starter) and they had it fixed by 5pm! Amazing! They are also willing to listen to my amateur diagnostic attempts, which I really appreciate. Honest, Fast, and Fair. What more could you ask for?

Ive been going to Uptown Automotive for a few years now and I am always amazed how incredibly friendly and quick they are. Its really difficult as someone who doesnt really know about cars to know who to trust and there are always so many horror stories out there about people being ripped off but I trust these guys 100% and wouldnt take my care anywhere else! We own a 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac which has been a great truck but is now showing signs of wear-n-tear. We have always taken the Sport Trac to our local Ford dealer when it came to annual servicing and minor repairs. We have never left the dealer with a bill that was less than $150, so, when we started to notice that the air conditioner was not blowing out cold air, I decided to ask a friend if he had any recommendations, knowing that I did not want to take it to the Ford dealer because of their “pricing structure”! This friend recommended Uptown Automotive. We decided to have Uptown do a check on the air conditioner with an estimate of what it would cost to have it repaired. They did find a leak and gave us what sounded to be a very honest assessment of what was needed and how much it would cost. We felt that the price was very fair and very affordable so we decided to have Uptown Automotive complete the job. Since then, August 1, 2013, the air conditioner has been great. We are a 2-car family so I am looking to have Uptown Automotive take over the servicing of both cars. They are friendly, fair and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you, Uptown Automotive.

I heard about Uptown on Facebook, some folks had recommended. I was looking for an alternative place to get my 30K service done on a 2012 Subaru Outback. The dealership quoted me $1200 for this service, which seemed a bit outrageous.I made an appointment easily and the sales gal was sympathetic to my concern about bringing a new car to an unknown mechanic. Little did I know, I had nothing to worry about.The service was done on my vehicle and all repairs were explained to me in detail. The service cost was less than half of what I was quoted by Servco. I found that this is the kind of garage that still has pride of ownership in their work. That impressed me greatly.I have now made a second appointment at Uptown Auto and even though I live in Wailea, I will not mind driving to Wailuku to know that I am in good hands.
