I had a teeth scaling done that I wasn’t prepared for when I went. I thought I would need a crown on a broken tooth. Dr Taylor Starr said he could fix it without a crown which is going to save me a lot of money. The scaling was performed by hygienist Kaitlynn. She was so gentle I didn’t even need shots to numb my gums. Had I know the results Would be so dramatic I would have taken before and after photos. Thank you for the honest gentle visit. You’ve earned a customer for life.

I absolutely LOVE this office!!!! I refer EVERYONE I know here because they are so good at what they do. Any time I have ever had work done, it has been a pleasant experience. I don’t mind going to the dentist since I have been using them. I believe I have used this office for at least 14 years.

We love this dentist so much we drive 2 hours one-way for our appointments!! We used to live in Waco and found this was our go-to place for our entire family’s dental needs. My husband hates the dentist, but he will keep his appointments here and refuses to go to any new dentist after we moved. Honest and quality care is not always a given in the dental world, and we have always been satisfied with the service here. Our kids started coming here at age 3 for dental cleanings and they love the treasure box and prizes they get at the end (especially after 4 visits with no cavities!). I think we’ve seen every hygienist now, and they are all great! Dr. Taylor Starr is our dentist whom we love and done many fillings, etc., but his brother is also excellent! Receptionists are friendly and accommodating. We just have no negative thoughts for this practice. Thanks Starr Dentistry!!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Starr Dentistry! I had recently gone to another dentist who had filled two cavities; unfortunately, one was bonded incorrectly and after having gone back to the same dentist to have it repaired I was still in pain. I was referred to Dr. Starr’s office and am so thankful that I was!After calling to inquire about being seen by one of the dentists I was able to get in for an emergency appointment the very next day. Everyone in the office was kind and professional! Dr. Martin saw me for my visit and was so generous with his time and willingness to correct my filling. Both he and the hygienist took the time to explain to me what was going on and never rushed me through the appointment. Not only that, two days after my visit Dr. Martin personally called to check in on how I was doing.If you are looking for a patient forward dentistry, look no further. Very friendly and caring staff! They did a great job on my teeth cleaning and going over my concerns. They did a thorough job doing X-rays. They gave me a toothbrush, floss picks, and toothpaste to take home!

I’ve been a patient at Starr Dentistry for years. Every appointment has always been great and that’s saying a lot for someone who used to dread going to the dentist! I started going there because of a botched crown at a different place. Dr. Kent Starr even replaced it at no charge and informed the other dentist. His sons are obviously carrying on his legacy.

My daughter had 2 teeth removed yesterday to help the progress with her braces (from another Waco dentist). We were in and out of there within 30 min. Dr. Martin and his assistant were professional and super friendly.

Everyone was very friendly. Dentist was very honest and helpful about what I needed done. Very clean, comfortable environment.

No wait time, friendly staff. One question, do you not check blood pressure any longer?

Today was my first time going here, and I was so pleased with my experience. All the staff was kind and helpful, the place was cozy and clean, and the dentist was extremely kind. He was helpful and didn’t try to get me to do anything I didn’t want to do to my teeth. They took my insurance as well (Medishare, which most people don’t).

Always treated with compassion and a smile. I suffer from severe anxiety and they always do whatever it takes to help calm me down. I can not recommend the Starr family enough.

I liked, as we briefly talked about options, that he advised a conservative approach in my case. Again, the experience was such that I knew I was in the care of experts but also with good relational skills. I would recommend them!

Dr. Martin Starr was the third dentist that I saw for my problem. Not only did he explain it in easy to understand terms, but he also offered an immediate solution. After treatment in his office, he called the next day to see how I was feeling. Finally I have met a dentist that I trust and feel good about. His entire staff were all super nice as well.

Dr. Starr and his staff are wonderful. They are very careful when cleaning my teeth so that I dont experience any discomfort and Dr. Starr readily answers any questions and addresses my concerns.

A good dental office if you have insurance. I only have a dental savings plan, so the prices are still high for me. That said, they do good work. Had some teeth pulled and some fillings done here. Only pain I felt, was from the needle with the painkiller.

I hate the dentist. Hate it, but Dr. Martin and Dr. Taylor make going to the dentist a delight. They are always so sweet, nice and they genuinely care about you and your well being. I’ve been going to Starr Dentistry for 9 years. I first started going when I was a student at Baylor. I’ve since graduated and moved to Austin, and now Dallas, but I still drive back to Waco for my favorite dentists. My friends always ask is it worth driving 4 hours roundtrip for a dentist, and I absolutely think it is.They don’t overcharge, they are very fair in their treatment plans and don’t do anything thing that doesn’t need to be done and most importantly they take the time to explain each procedure, make you feel comfortable, and they do a good job. I love my smile and I know it’s because all of the care they have put into matching my crowns and fillings.I’ve had some dental emergencies throughout the years and they always find a way to fit me in immediately.I can’t recommend them enough! They’re entire staff is just so welcoming and accommodating.

As someone usually terrified of visiting the dentist, I tried Starr for the first time this week. They were super professional and friendly. They were optimistic and started scheduling what I needed right away without any issues or other unnecessary procedures and deep cleanings before they can get to what I wanted done. What a relief! I had Monica as my dental assistant and she was the nicest person ever! Thanks Monica and Dr. Martin!

First, let me say that I’d rather take a beating than go to any dentist. With that said, Starr General Dentistry is the very best. They know how I feel about being there and they do everything within their power to ease my anxiety. THEY DON’T HURT ME!!! The dentists (there are two & they are brothers) are very warm, compassionate, thorough, knowledgeable, proficient and, above all, gentle. My hygienist, Monica, is fantastic as well. They are pretty pricey— It cost me $450 for an exam and cleaning as I have no dental insurance— but, I completely trust them... and THAT is priceless. When I left my appointment yesterday, I was stress free and confident that I have no cavities, etc. 😃. I would recommend these dentists to everyone!

I called to get my mother in to see Dr Starr. I was able to get an appointment 1 hour later that day. So thankful for the quick response and he was able to repair her denture the same day! Thank you Dr Starr and staff for your quick, courteous and professional help. You all are the best in Waco!
