I spilled a drink on my mac, and couldnt fix it. they took so long to retrieve my files that it was too late for them to be useful. I was also charged way too much for a diagnosis they should have been able to do instantly. Charged an arm and a leg, and got nothing. My computer wasnt fixable, and when I received my data, not only was it too late, and i didnt need it anymore, but i also cannot access it because it is in mac format, and I no longer have a mac.

They are very unwilling to help, and just try to scam you into buying their subscription. Customer service was terrible, I had to come in 3 times. First time they said they had to charge me $200 just to diagnose it. I just had a problem with my spotify, not even an internal computer problem. Ever since I went the first time, I started having actual internal computer problems. I went the second time to try and resolve my new problems. Was really rudely approached by an employee that said I put the wrong password into my compter and it was my apple ID password that has to go in. They first of all lied to me, because it was actually not my apple ID password. In addition, that employee just turned me away, and told me to go back home and try it. The third time, they were like we can’t really do anything until you pay us a certain amount. It was a complete waste of time, I would absolutely 100% never go back or recommend to anyone.

My computer was having intermittent power outages, Geeks said I needed a new hard drive. that didnt work; then they said I need a new low wattage power supply; that didnt work. while I was trying to use the computer, I noticed my power strip light went out. problem solved but why didnt they detect this initially? they insist these repairs were neede anyway and Im out $190. sounds like a used car dealer to me.......

So i walked in to make a simple request to get my computer check because the touch screen drivers or the screen may have been damaged or malfunctioning some way shape or form. the guy at the counter was rude from the very beginning. playing with his watch or what not. any who when i told him the problem he told me to clean the screen ..... Ive been doing that for 2 weeks. then he told me that i cant expect to get the laptop exchanged even though i wasnt asking for a new laptop Ive only had the thing for 4 months, so its basically still brand new. so in the end i go next door to offfice depot and buy screen cleaning wipes.... even though i have been cleaning it this way for 2 week still went and bought more wipes.... come back to work to clean the screen and......... still dont work. thank you geek squad for your service.........useless.
