I am very satisfied with Waste Management trash service. They are reliable and do there job well. I appreciate there service and the cost of it. It is very affordable.
Terrible Terrible Terrible! Our recycling can hasnt been picked up in over a month! My husband and I have called multiple times to request that it be picked up because our recyclables are piling up and still nothing! Unfortunately the only number available is a corporate number. Every rep weve spoken to has guaranteed us that the can will be picked up either that same day or the next day. Today I was told theyd pick it up within the hour. Its been 4 hours and still nothing. One rep told me the driver reported on our account that he picked it up 3 days ago - guess what, my can is still full! Well be contacting the County and our rep on the Board of Supervisors because this is ridiculous!
Phone systems is horrible. Had a question and couldn’t get a live person.
Just bought a new house. The sellers had waste management trash cans full of rotting foods etc left in the sun for weeks when I got the keys. Buyers agent had contents emptied, but cans smelled like death. Called WM and set up account in my name. Requested cans be replaced. WM rep said no problem, keep trash cans at house and they would replace. Friday came and went, no new cans. Called them and they said they would try again, but for me to put them curbside (1/2 mile away uphill). So I did and cans were not replaced. Called WM back, they said sorry and would replace next Friday. Tuesday, get a call from WM that account is closed and no recollection of cans to be replaced. Folks just want to talk right over ya. No thanks, I will find alternative methods.
We must have a good driver because he has diligently picked up our trash (without spilling) every week for the past few years. We forgot to put our can out today and the company arranged to have the driver come by again at the end of his run and get it for us. I was so pleased that I felt I needed to leave this review.

Very poor customer service. They charge me full price for a trash can, a yard can, and a recycle can but will not provide the recycle can because Im less than 1 mile beyond the service area for recycle. Miraculously, Im within range for trash and yard waste collection......but at the same price neighbors down the road get all three cans. They refuse to substitute an additional yard or trash can in lieu of the recycle can. Management overrides and nullifies any concession offered by subordinate staff to remedy driver mistakes during collection and will not notify you that theyve done so.
My dad, like several of the other people who have commented, lives in a rural area and he makes every attempt to Recycle but his bin is only picked up once every 4th or 5th week, usually after I complain, and there is no explanation as to why it ignored! He follows the rules to the letter so there is no excuse! We pay for a service that were not getting and its very frustrating. Too much time is spent on my part trying to get our Recycle Bin picked up EVERY WEEK like its supposed to be!
Annoying phone calls to sell larger dumpster, charged $60 for trash not being smashed down in dumpster. customer service person Jacell will not return phone call to discuss my account. There are no other trash services available because our county does not allow competition for trash service.
These drivers must be drunk! Our driver drove across our newly planted grass and created a huge mess. We are having a wedding in our yard next month!
Drivers are sloppy, having repeated problems with only half of trash cans being dumped, cans constantly thrown on their sides blocking my driveway, they promised to come out twice and never did, management does not return phone calls. If there was another option for trash pickup disposal in my area I would not pay this company for poor work.
I would give a negative if possible. They forgot our trash and were going to have US pay to have them come back. Had to call corporate as they wouldn’t return voicemail. Worst customer service I have ever seen, typical since they are the only company local they treat customers like “garbage”. Horrible, we would change if we could
We are a rural acct and the drivers spill more trash than they pick up ! All the neighbors have to pick trash up. We have mentioned this before, but no change. The county is a mess from trash blowing-out from trucks. Their web page is unhelpful also, so you call and leave messages, but get no call back. $99 per month and we still have to pick up trash in all our fields.
Couldnt understand the woman in the phone and she got upset with me for asking her to please speak clearly... only open on Wednesdays to public.

Western waste management is terrible! I call as they fail to pick up as scheduled, they tell me to put back out and they will send someone by to dump when I called on Tuesday my can sat out full until Thursday when I call again, same thing they assure me that Friday it will get picked up. It is Saturday and my can remains full by the road. I pay for weekly pick up, I am lucky to get it picked up bi-weekly and sometimes thats only if I call. If any other options are available I would suggest you DO NOT CHOOSE WWM. When I suggest I get some type of refund or credit I am told that I will have to call back in 2 days and speak with an account manager. If I could give zero stars and leave a review, I most certainly would.
