Easy to schedule for someone to come out and give an estimate for tree removal/trimming. Unlike some other companies like top to bottom tree care or bishop tree who you have to keep calling and hassle for them to have them come over. Have not schedule for company to do actual tree removal yet.Update: while it was easy to schedule for someone to come out to give an estimate it takes along time to get them to come back out to do the actual tree removal. I got estimate in early july and they are so backed up with workload they cant even give me an estimate time they can come out to do the work. -_- go with bishop, they can cut two 30+ft tree within one hour and that include stump removal and cleaning up too.

This company is seriously amazing! We called them and they came out to quote for free. We were happy with the quote so set up a day to clean up an old oak in our front yard.It took them less than two hours to do the work and they cleaned up everything. They are quick and priced decently. I highly recommend!

As a retired Marine I know what it is to work as a team. Bill gave me a very fair price and then Brians crew promptly and professionally removed several trees and a large number of stumps. Probably the best (and safest) tree climbers I have ever seen. The remote controlled stump grinder was awesome to watch, and Brian and crew made quick work of cleaning up. Thank you Bill and Brian, I will have you back this fall for sure.

We had Advance Tree Care remove 4 large trees and do some tree trimming on our property. We were most impressed by the professionalism throughout the process! From the estimate with Bill, to the coordination of our schedule with their schedule to get the job done, to the actual removal day, we were completely satisfied. The crew of about 10 arrived with all of the equipment right on time. Every person I spoke to was polite and professional and answered every question. They have a very efficient process and took care to really make sure the job was done safely, and as we wanted. For example, asking about certain plants they could remove so they wouldnt get damaged, or getting me to approve the proper trimming I wanted as they were doing it, and having spotters watching and signaling every move of that big equipment or the guys with the saws. They cleaned up all the debris systematically and arranged for the large trunks to be removed the next day. It was a pleasure working with Brian and his crew! They got the job done right and we would definitely recommend them and use the company again!

Brian the owner and Bill 2nd in command are top notch professionals. They are veterans when it comes to tree work, the business they run and quality of work & standards that they hold themselves and their crew to are stellar! It’s a breath of fresh air to know a company with old school values and ethics still exist. Cheap work isn’t good and good work isn’t cheap! That said, these guys still provide services that are typically very dangerous and physically demanding but also require expensive equipment (that they OWN and don’t rent per job by the way) to my surprise they still offer prices that one can feel like they got a GREAT deal. Rest assured the job will be done as close to perfection as possible and clean up will not be something you will need to worry about. Besides the trees being cut and gone, and a tire track in my yard (to be expected) ATC left no other trace that they were even on my property! I have used Advanced Tree Care 3 times for small, medium and large jobs on 3 different properties, same result all 3 times! I can honestly say I will never use another company for my tree needs as long as Brian and Bill are still in business!

Bryan, Sean, Derek and Harvey were awesome!! They showed up early and were done in about 4 hours. I had two gum trees removed and an oak trimmed and they did an incredible job!! And cleaned up everything so youd never know they were here. They were friendly, professional and super talented at what they do!! Bill was also great. He checked on everything early then came by to make sure everything was good and I was happy. The owner of the company is a very nice guy. They were quick to give us an estimate, while other companies make you wait a week to get a phone call to set up an appointment for an estimate. They have excellent customer service. The work they did in our yard was remarkable! We had two large trees trimmed and two removed, as well as firewood cut and left for us. The pricing cant be beat, as we received estimates from other companies as well. The work was superb and we will be recommending them to everyone we know.

This company had been recommended by a neighbor. However, When I called their office on a Wed I got their answering machine. I left a message telling them about the work I wanted done and my phone number. Did not get a return call. Called again on Friday. The woman gave me an appointment for 11:00am on Monday. No one showed up. Called the office at 11:30 to find out if there was a delay and I should continue to wait or if I should get on with my day. Got the answering machine again. They apparently cant schedule or respond to requests for appointments.

I am incredibly impressed with this company. From my first phone call to request an estimate right up until the trees were removed everyone I dealt with was kind, helpful and honest. I had two large pines removed that were growing into my gutters, Advance Tree Care was able to remove them without causing any further damage. I recommend them to anyone looking for tree removal.

We had a tree come down in the recent winds and rain. We needed the work done quickly as the tree was pulling up the concrete driveway. Id used Bill and Bryan before so I called on them again. Excellent work, great cleanup and fair price.

Part of my Bradford treed fell down slightly damaging my car, the remaining part of the tree was leaning towards the house. Called around and Atlantic Tree Removal responded very quickly with a reasonable quote.Bill was flexible and willing to negotiate more than a fair price to remove an additional tree by the house. Once the team arrived, they were very courteous, professional and clean up very well with little or no impact to the lawn.I would gladly recommend them to friends/others.

I highly recommend this company. Bill was awesome and quoted me the same day I asked for an estimate. I was scheduled within a week or so, a little storm named Matthew got in the way! They came here promptly at 7:30 to remove my huge River Birch (4 diameter at the base), another dead tree & trim my pecan & oak (also large). These guys were like surgeons the way they dismantled that birch and there were lots of obstacles for them. The whole crew had a great attitude the entire day. Advance Tree Care Service, are the experts in tree and lot clearing. I had and I mean I had a rain forest in my back yard along with a 50 foot White Oak draping over my two story home. A 20 foot dead Maple on my side yard, a 20 to 25 foot Gum ball on the side of my drive way and tree limbs hanging over the shallow end of my in ground pool. The Advance Tree care crew arrived at 10 a.m. and by 4.00 p.m. I had my back yard back, Oak limbs off my House, a dead maple and a Gum Ball tree (that always had lots of gum ball in the drive way ) gone along with the tree stumps, and sun shine in the shallow end of my pool.Thank you Advance Tree Care for your hard work and expert tree removalwithout stopping in the high heat you will always have my bussiness.

I had an emergency tree removal situation and these guys came out within the hour to help. They were extremely professional and their estimate was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this company!

I am sure their work is exceptional, however not very organized. Let me elaborate; I called them on Tuesday to have them come by for an estimate on removing a half dead tree in the front of my home, the operator explained to me that he would be by that day, and I told him I would be there all day. which I was. I never saw or heard from them. At this point, I decided to go ahead and do it myself and I purchased a new saw and other items to do it this weekend. Thursday came, and I get a voicemail, due to my work I missed the phone call, it stated they were at the house and to return the phone call, within an hour I was home and was astonished that the tree was cut to a stump. I immediately called their number, and the operator explained that they did the work. I was very surprised and asked how much it would be, he said $275, and I gasped! I explained to him, I was never given a price and didnt have that money, I didnt agree to it and I wouldnt have since I had already even decided to do it myself, not to mention I didnt have $275. He then said he called me and I gave approval over the phone...I even went into my recent calls and the only calls were to their number was on Tuesday (my initial call) and the missed call on Thursday at 1458. He then stated I called you, the other day, you were not home, and you said it was ok to do it, I asked him what day, and to check his phone, he just kept saying, he called, and couldnt give me a day or time he had called. Then mumbled, well maybe I called someone else. I almost just said I wouldnt pay him anything, but did have $150 that I could give him for the work, so I offered it, although he was unhappy, he wasnt anywhere near as unhappy as I was. I am sure they are a great company for large jobs, but this tree I had already cut down half the limbs that were dead, it had two larger branches growing out, and was at most 12 inches across and about 10 feet high. My neighbors watched them complete the work in 15 minutes, and they wanted $275 for it. I reluctantly gave them $150 for the work, and I still have a stump to deal with since he didnt finish the job. I really miss integrity and pride.

These guys are the best in tree service and tree removal in Virginia Beach, VA. I had them over to my place to remove a few trees, trim a few other trees, and clear out a lot in my backyard where there was many bushes, small, and large trees. I had 6 large 70 Pine Trees removed and 4 smaller trees, 10 total. Their estimate was $4650 to remove the trees and stumps. They got to keep the wood. They own their own equipment and had 4-7 people here at times to get the job done in 2 days. I am still trying to figure out how they profited compared to the other bids...my guess is that its becasue they own their own equipment and dont have to rent it and they kept and sold the wood (instead of crushing it into mulch). They hauled it off in huge sections.They did a wonderful job. They were so professional and their clean up was sooooo awesome. I would not use anyone but this company if I ever need another tree cut down. They were way cheaper and so professional.Note....my other 2 estimates were for 10k and 11k and they wanted to leave 3 huge piles of mulch in my yard and told me I could put a sign out front so people to come pick up.)

I called to inquire about getting a tree cut down from my yard and essentially got my head bitten off. Their office is in Va Beach (I live in Portsmouth) and I was told that they are located in Virginia Beach and that they wont be sending any assets to Portsmouth. He then said he would give me the name and number of another company, but then hastily just gave me the name and brusquely told me to google it before hanging up. A side note: I did google the company that he named. They arent well-reviewed.

Advanced Tree Care removed two maple trees. They have excellent costumer service and the guys were speedy and left everything clean and tidy.
