Great place to rent and live

Tracie Fairchild is great and helpful. Good people but I’ve been on a waiting list for housing for nearly four months. Facing homelessness and I have nowhere to go they gave me no idea on where Im going to go yet so I guess I’m going back into the street

I MOVED HERE LAST YEAR AND IT WAS SO HARD TO FIND A PLACE TO LIVE. I STAYED WITH MY SISTER AND HER FAMILY FOR 6 MONTHS.I CALLED CDC AND I SPOKE TO MISS NATOYA KELLY ...THIS WAS THE BEST CALL I MADE...SHE HELPED ME THROUGH THE WHOLE PROCESS AND I WANT TO THANK HER OVER AND OVER AGAIN.THANK YOU CDC FOR HELPING ME AND GIVING ME MY FIRST HOME IN VIRGINIA BEACH.MAY GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU..THANKS!!!!

Convient. Clean store. Prices compare to Wal-Mart. Plenty of parking. Easy in and out of parking by have 3 ways to get in n out. No long lines in store

Excellent people who will help you

VBCDC will ruin a good community and will not care or have any concerns about how their tenants destroy the property and the community. They dont do any background checks, and no annually inspections of their tenants. Therefore, once VBCDC moves residents into your community be prepared to move out because your peace and quality of life will suffer from infestation of roaches, drug users, drug dealers, hoarders that will keep their porch filled with trash and junk for years. VBCDC harbors all the mentally unstable, racist, criminals, and violent people. Our community has roaches and rodents because one person constantly collects trash and fills her home with junk and dirt. VBCDC has allowed this behavior to continue for years to the point people have to constantly move out. The second individually will vandalize your vehicle, place dog feces on your door, sexually harass and physically abuse woman in the community. There is always police being called because they always have some sort of disturbance or nonsense going on amongst themselves or other neighbors. The police are even sick of VBCDC residents and fully aware something is wrong with these individuals. When trying to contact VBCDC they will not answer the telephone or return calls. If you go to their facility they communicate through a speaker and afraid or unwilling to let you in. The president and vice president is either unaware or dont care that they resident torture hardworking people in the community with their foul conduct and trash. This program is suppose to be utilized for people that will be grateful and require assistance. However, the people that they place in the program will steal your mail as soon as UPS drop the package off at your door and will keep their home so nasty that it will affect your home and wellbeing. This company needs to screen and keep updated with their people and enforce better rules and policy. Section 8 or HUD housing would not accept or tolerate hoarding, criminals, and excessive dirty trouble makers that breed roaches and dumpster dive sit around smoking all day with no job.
