I was looking for a place to rent in Chesapeake, VA. I’d been looking on several different websites but when I saw one I liked I could never seem to get the owner or realtor to reply to my inquiry. I was getting frustrated. I reached out to Chi Matsumoto for help. She set me up to receive emails of rental listing that fit exactly what I was looking for. Anytime I let her know that I saw one that I liked she would reply very quickly with additional information only an experienced realtor would think to look for. She would somehow magically get a hold of these people to get more information and set up a showing for me. (I’m guessing that she was more persistent than I was willing to be) Once she arranged a time to show a property she would be there exactly on time looking very professional. When I finally found “the one” she was very helpful with the application process and communicating with the other realtor. There is no doubt in my mind that I would not have gotten the place I’m about to move into if it were not for her professionalism, punctuality, and persistence. I am so glad I chose Chi to help.

Buyer beware! I agree with others who have shared how this agency is unreliable and unprofessional. We worked with a Tammy and Amy. We were promised waterfront lot 120 which faced the bay on August 7th. We had to followup multiple times to get a rental agreement. On September 2nd, we finally got the rental agreement after lots of back and forth.The day before our stay we got a call from Tammy saying lot 120 was not longer available since the owners were coming in for the weekend. The owners should of been noticed when we signed the rental agreement and made the payment. Tammy went on to say they needed to put us on lot 58 for the same price as lot 120, $81 per night. Let’s just say lot 58 was nothing compared to lot 120 which had a better views and was more secluded.We also found out we had to pickup a gate pass from the office which is miles away from the RV park.On the ride home we got a message from Tammy asking if we are close to bringing the gate pass back and we had already dropped the pass off.Needless to say if we go back to Surfside RV Park, formally Outdoor Resorts again we will not be using Carder Realty Group, rather going through the property owners.

Please stay away from this agency. You will have many regrets as I have. They obviously dont have a clue about operating such an agency....very unreliable and unprofessional. These people are very misleading.

I have been a tenant with Carder Realty since 2016. Whenever a situation arises, it is handled quickly & professionally. My property manager goes above the call of duty to be sure things are being taken care of as quickly as possible. I have been in the office many times and have been greeted by smiling, friendly faces, every time. The people that answer the phones are professional & caring. My hot water heater went haywire one night and Amy Carder (the owner of Carder Realty) personally took the call and got the situation handled immediately. I would highly recommend Carder Realty for all of your real estate needs.

I purchased an investment property in Virginia Beach and was represented by Chi Matsumoto of Carder Realty Group. The purchase went smoothly and quickly. As soon as it was ready to be rented, I turned it over to Chi and Carder and they had it rented in a day with well qualified tenants.Everything went so well that Chi is representing me again to purchase another property in the same neighborhood. As soon as it’s ready to be rented I’ll be having Chi and Carder manage that one as well.Thanks Chi!!

I was on the home search off and on for about two years until I contacted Frank Crayle at Carder Realty. Frank worked around the clock to help me find my home. After nine days of Franks hard work he wrote the contract for the place I now call home. As a first time home buyer it was definitely an intimidating process, but Frank alleviated any stress or pressure and made it an enjoyable process. Thank you again Frank for the hard work, dedication, and professionalism you bring to the table.

The agents and staff at Carder Realty are very professional. The attention I received as a tenant of theirs was amazing. They responded to all of my issues quickly and efficiently. I would definitely rent from them again!

Working with this realty group was wonderful, which I am surprised to find myself saying given our history with different house hunts. Our realtor was was always available, whether we looking for houses, in the midst of gathering paperwork/information, and even when our nerves were frayed and we were panicking. I will recommend this group to anyone who asks and use them if we ever lose our minds and decide to move!

I think Mrs. Denise Hawkins should be more mindful that she is easily located on the internet, so when she has a verbal altercation on the road with someone, it not only makes her look bad, but speaks volumes on the company and what type of people they employ.

Unethical and unprofessional. I work at a bank and I do NOT recommend my clients ever use Carder Realty Group to buy, sell, or rent their homes.

Such a liar, unprofessional management I wouldnt recommend to anybody please just beware from their properties if you dont want to have any problem during renting.
