I really enjoyed my experience from this staffing agency! I’ve never heard of this place and randomly stumbled upon it online. I filled out something I guess (I don’t even remember what I filled out, I put in so much applications to places) and I got a call/email from Carley. I thought it was honestly a scam or something but the same day I spoke with Carley she found me a job! I spoke to Carley on Monday 2pm and started working Wednesday 8am in the morning in a lovely office building with really nice people. I really recommend this place and Carley :)

My son worked for this company as a temporary employee (temp job). They continually docked his weekend hours promising to pay within the following week. Once my son inquired about it, they got defensive and relieved him of his job without ever formally telling him. He found out by going to work and inability to log into his jog hour tracker.I called on his behalf as he’s just a young teenager who didn’t understand what was going on. The manager Heather never would speak with me on this situation. The staff was unprofessional as to how they handle this.

I interviewed with this agency and was told that my qualifications were exceptional and I have a lot of great work experience (which I do). I continue to find jobs posted that are a good fit so I always email the hiring manager, apply online, and follow-up with a phone call (they rarely answer the phone so I leave a message). I NEVER receive a follow-up email, call or anything. It is highly unprofessional. I realize that the hiring company is their primary client, but I would think they would want to stack their firm with a talented workforce. Little to no communication, very substandard customer service, lack or professionalism, and certainly not the way I would run a business. Find a different agency.

I was hired through Randstad for an 18 month assignment the first go around back in 2016. The first person I encountered from Randstad was Cheryl. She was personable, honest, and professional. Her communication was in fact, “TOP NOTCH!” Nancy (who’s no longer with the company) was good as well. Fast forward to the 18 month contract/assignment.. Well, I’ll just say, it’s wiser not for me to be as transparent as I could. On a more positive note, I was privileged to meet some absolutely phenomenal people where I was assigned; both contractors and full time associates. Well, I completed the 18 month contract back in 2018.. Yippie!!!!! But, I’m back on the same contract/assignment in 2019 🤦‍♀️🤭.. There’s been a lot of changes within the role that Randstad has and is hiring for... Seemingly, most of the changes are beneficial to the company that’s contracting us. Also, it’s beneficial to ‘some’ of the hired contractors too. I’m going to chose to withhold and not unfold my truest sentiments around these changes... I’m just going to express this much: Randstad is contracted by companies. Therefore...........................So, I don’t think 🤔 as contractors our voice really matters as much as it should and could... Hopefully, at some point the field can be leveled and we can all win! Side note: I’ve only been hired through Randstad for one company in particular. It just happened to be my second go around.. Overall, I’m grateful to have met some fantastic people. Also, to have the opportunity to learn some life changing information about investments... Most importantly, having the opportunity to personally evolve in things I like and through situations that’s uncomfortable.

We have found good quality candidates from Randstad. They are responsive and flexible.

Very poor customer service. This branch demeanor was because they assist customers in finding jobs they have the authority to treat people poorly. It is very important that when you deal with people regarding jobs that you help and communicate. Not approach others as if your superior to those who need help.

I registered on the Randstad website and was immediately contacted by Chera, who is amazing. She listened to what my job needs were, and based on my skills, she was able to assign me to a great company within a week. I would definitely work with Randstad again.

EMPLOYERS BEWARE! Do not use these people. I had a temp through them that we ended his employment. A week later one of my supervisors paid the temp worker to do 4 hours of work as an independent contractor doing a different job than he did for Randstad. When I found out about it I told Randstad I would pay them for the four hours and I told the supervisor not to use him any more. The guy has never been back. Matthew Spillman at Randstad billed me $5,200 for hiring their employee. Which I did not do. Then he wouldnt even discuss it. Their corporate office would do nothing either - they said I had to talk to the branch. Now they have turned it over to a collection agency! These people are crooked. STAY AWAY!

I have worked with Randstad for several years. I have always felt wanted and appreciated by their staff. They have given encouragement during tough times and have fostered a culture of professional growth. Their strongest assets are professionalism and communication.

Randstad provided outstanding candidates for us to choose from here at the Hampton Roads Regional Jail. The level of their qualifications made the experience even more exciting to know we would have an individual that would help us to take our goals and objectives to the next level. Chera Martinez from the Virginia Beach, VA location was also very helpful by finding those candidates and ensuring their availability within the appropriate timeframes. She provided the utmost customer service for us.

I have had a very pleasant experience with a couple of recruiters for Randstad. They listened to my request for jobs that I wanted to pursue and they made it happen. In the meantime,they keepe busy as possible when they had assignments available.

3.5 in my opinion.This was my first contract through Randstad, which was an investment processing position. I did not communicate with Randstad very often, but they always replied to all of my questions within the same day. I did not experience any difficulty requesting time off as long as it was done in a timely manner. The client I worked for was a well-known and successful company with a nice facility. But thats for a whole different review. My experience with Randstad was decent.However, I felt the communication between Randstad and the client needs improvement. When the nature of the job changed, people were either concerned or confused as to how it would impact them. It felt like we were getting mixed details and not a straight answer. Thats just my take on the situation. The other issue I had was with the health benefits. Even it was nice to have despite being on a contract, it takes longer than most company policies to kick in and when I used it I still paid out pocket for preventative care. I think that needs to improve the most.Despite this longer than normal review, I still recommend Ranstad for people because they have plenty of job opportunities if you look online. And it introduced me to some great people that I had the pleasure of working with whether they were full-time or contract. I suggest asking questions before and after the interview. There will be times where they will be on-site, so take that opportunity to ask questions as well. And make your concerns know to Randstad sooner than later.Thank you!
