I did not maintain a backup and all my important files were on my laptop. I thought my laptop and all data was lost when I accidentally knocked over a glass of water on my laptop! My initial thought was to go to Best Buy. What a mistake! I was referred to PC Alternatives by one of their competitors who also could not fix my issue, and I thought it was very professional and classy for them to send me here. Wonderful experience. I had an incident where my laptop stopped working, went to them since I lived down the street. I called ahead and basically parked and they picked up my device from my car for me. Within an hour they were performing a diagnostic on my device and provided me honest and useful information via text with pictures so that it was easier for me to understand. Caught a virus on my computer and looked these guys up on Google after I talked to the Best Buys Geek Squad. Best Buy quoted me $125 for a 4-5 day turn around, PC Alternatives quoted me the same price for about a 24hr turn around. I have a ASUS gaming computer and my computer stopped charging and eventually started shutting down. I tried places like best buy and other local laptop fixers but no body even wanted to touch my computer or had my parts. I even tried ASUS themselves and they stated that they carry my battery and that my battery was no detachable. I decided to try this place and I have never been happier. First off I didnt know how to get there and his secretary talked to me the whole way there with no problem. Second he listen to me go on about my problems for a hour and did not rush me at all! He told the possible problems and the exact steps he would take and if let me know what I could do if by chance he could not fix it. He was straight forward. My laptop has been on life support with a charger for 8 months and this is the first time I am able to be on my laptop with out a charger attached. I am so excited.
