Not open the hours stated online. Waited in the parking lot for a long while after seeing the posted store hours, hoping they were just running late. Tried again the following day and had the same issue of nobody opening the store on time. Another post gave the excuse that many weeks ago the owner was quarentining due to covid... i wonder what the response will be this time.Replacement phone screen purchased was refurbished and supposed to be as good as new with no visible defects. This was partly true -- after the repair the physical phone screen looked great, no cracks or dents...Until you turned on the power button and the entire screen illuminated a nice lime green glow and had touch sensitivity issues. Owner stated it was the customers risk to purchase a refurbished screen instead of a new one and that it wasnt his problem that the cheaper route was taken...but kindly offered to replace the screen again with a brand new screen for an additional lump sum of U.S. currency.A few hours later the nice lime green phone screen would suddenly cut off and randomly fade to black and become useless. Save yourself the money from purchasing an Amazon knockoff replacement screen with questionable repair methods from this business & please dont fall for the warranty pitch given at time of payment.Other than that, Im sure a laptop repair will be top notch. Maybe they are just inexperienced with cell phones.Happy Friday!

So its taken me a while to write this (because I truly never think to write reviews, good or bad) but Jason was just so AWESOME that I just have to share my experience!! So my laptop got dropped and the screen was completely non-functioning (though the computer itself worked fine when I hooked it up to an external monitor). I took it to a big box computer repair shop first, and after they held it for 4 DAYS without a call, I had to call and follow up. They then told me it would be $300-$400 MAYBE and that they were pretty sure what it was after a diagnostic but not 100%. And that theyd have to hold onto it for ANOTHER week without any guarantees. Obviously, I decided at that point another opinion was needed...so I grabbed my laptop and took it to Jason that same day. And would you know, Jason right away completes the diagnostic and knows EXACTLY what the issue was in 15 minutes. He then even showed me how the the other repair shop had carelessly handled the inner components during their diagnostic, causing even more problems!! And to top it all off, Jason went above and beyond to try to get me the best deal he could on parts to take care of the extra fixes, and ended up cutting the other guys original estimate in HALF. AMAZING!! Seriously, trust Jason with your electronics!! Hes THE expert in the area!!

The absolute best place in VA Beach to go for a phone repair. Jason is the best cell phone repair place in the Chesapeake / Virginia beach area. My family is really hard on cell phones so we have unfortunately had to use him a lot. His prices are always fair and service is fast. I shopped around to a lot of different places before getting my first phone repaired there and his prices were the best. Got my windows phone contacts transferred over to my new galaxy phone in no time. They didnt even charge me extra for password resetting my live account. I couldnt get into my account to transfer over my contacts but these guys did in under an hour. I am happy. Sprint couldnt even help me out. So far not so good .. their hours say 10-6 Monday thru Friday but I get there an hour after they open on a Monday and they are closed? Not really good business practice no matter how good you are. I guess Ill change it when/if I ever get a call back.

I met Jason about 3 years ago when I was doing some work in his shop. He didn’t notice but I was watching him make repairs. When my phone broke I took it to him. He called me and told me my phone was missing screws and misc parts. I had one other shop before him repair my screen. Who knows what other people do to the inside of your phone or electronics when there done. I know that he will repair my electronics the right way. No spare parts left over. He’s honest and his pricing is fair. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

This place is great! I took my Samsung S6 cell phone in to get the charging port fixed and Jason fixed it in about 30 minutes at less than half the price that Sprint wanted to charge me. Jason also repaired a laptop that I had dropped in the water. This place had great customer service at an affordable price.

First time ever going to this place. I was at Tubbys Tavern when I dropped my iPhone 6 plus while waiting for my lunch! The waitress told me there was a small shop in the shopping strip that could help me out! While my food was being cooked, I briefly left the tavern to drop my phone off. Not only was the price of the repair more than fair, by the time I was finished with my lunch, my phone was repaired good as new!!! CCR provides great services with a quick turn around at reasonable prices. During my visit to CCR, my cellphone was having issues with its touchscreen capabilities. I gave Jason a call, let him know the situation, and he was able to see me and take a look at my device that same day.After about an hour, I heard back from Jason that my phone was already repaired and ready to go. The problem resided with the Touch-IC chips in the phone and required micro-soldering to repair, in addition to a few other small discrepancies with the device. Outside of the Apple store in the mall (expensive!), Jason is one of the only people in the area capable of that kind of work.By his own admission, Jasons work might not be the cheapest youll find in the area, but the quality of it more than makes up for that! CCR has found a lifelong customer in me.-Brandon

My laptop crapped out on me after I had taken a tumble in to a drainage ditch. A friend recommended that I come here due to a tight budget, and I was very pleasantly surprised. My experience with repair shops hasnt been all that great. The staff at these places was aloof at best and condescending at worst.That wasnt the case here. The owner, Jason Bell, was very professional (and understanding to boot as hed related his recent experiences). It turned out that my mother board had sustained water damage and needed to be replaced. Jason was able to work with me to make a very expensive repair manageable, and I had my laptop back much sooner that I had originally anticipated.Ill definitely be back should I need a repair again.

Went to CCR (CELL PHONE & COMPUTER REPAIR) a few days ago for a repair on my LG phone. Jason was very helpful and fair with his price to repair my charge port. I keep breaking cell phone screens, little tiny speakers, earphone jacks. He keeps fixing them. He is fair and ethical, doesnt gouge you for his repairs. His shop is located near the corner of Great Neck Rd., and Virginia Beach Blvd. Note that some of the repair parts arent cheap from the manufacturer, but in many cases, they are far cheaper than my cell phone insurance deductible from Asurion. Thanks again, Jason.Now, fast forward a few months. This time I spilled something in my keyboard and several keys were useless. I ordered a replacement keyboard for the laptop, did my best to install it.Now my touchpad wont work. Jason fixed it in a few minutes. Now, the keyboard even lights up! My partner broke the lens to his cell phone camera. Ordered the replacement lens, and had Jason fix it. Fast and inexpensive. Definately will use CCR (which is Jasons company name) again as needed.

This was the 7th place I stopped and asked to fix my phone. Everyone else tried to sell me more than I needed. I had a Samsung S5 with a broken screen and I already replaced the phone from warranty. Everyone else seemed afraid to deal with a Samsung. They wanted the quick fix of IPHONE or they tried to fix the phone (by up selling ) instead of getting the things I needed off of it. I wish I would have went here prior to paying my deductible for a new phone. Jason went out of his way to help me. His business is what this country was founded on. Amazing customer service and gave me exactly what I needed at a fair price. Dont go anywhere else.

Very satisfied with the expertise of Ty Overton. I spoke with Mr. Overton a few days ago about bringing in my laptop for a virus removal. When I brought my computer in he said it would be a few hours before he could service the laptop. An hour later the technian calls me and lets me know that the reason my computer was not coming on was due to a bad power cord and he didnt charge me the 50 dollars diagnostics, he simply sold me a power cord for my adapter. My phone was Fubared on a level that I thought was un-salvagable. I went from place to place trying to find somewhere that would not charge me an arm and a leg to fix my phone... sadly most places just tried to sell me a new phone for a ridiculous price. I almost gave up and just bought a new phone until I stumbled across this gem. I am glad I gave this place a chance as the guy working in the shop was not only professional and courteous but he gave me a fair deal to fix my phone and he repaired it back to prestine condition. It just goes to show that Thank the lord for that. If you screw up your phone, your computer, tablet, etc. you should really stop by this place and give them a shot. You wont regret it.
