We have had Metronet for 1 year. We pay for 1GB and we run on average at 20-30MBPS. This is unacceptable. They have changed our routers out a few times and it’s something wrong with the fiber optics in our area. The internet goes out almost every single evening and weekend day. It’s terrible but we don’t have any other options. They know this so I’m sure that’s why the aren’t bothered to fix it.

Ever since i moved from my old address the wifi speed decreased but i kept paying the same amount every month conetion is so slow that if something is not done about it i’m going to switch

I was n the local office today and Anita helped me. She was so nice and helpful. Very cheerful as was the lady working with her. I was impressed with the way they provided masks and sanitizer. Also had perfect distancing. I was in and out in 10 minutes

I use to have a great experience with MetroNet. But recently its gone to heck. I absolutely love it, WHEN ITS UP AND RUNNING. But as of late, its been down about once or twice a month. After being forced into a promo for $10 extra a month (they didnt notify/ask/email or reg. mail me about) I cant seem to go a month without having total connection drop. On top of rude customer service and bad connection, Ive been having a terrible experience this year. Im starting to wonder if the power of fiber is in the speed of my internet, or in the ability to drain my wallet while simultaneously pissing me off with unreliable connection and staff.

Great staff. Fastest, most reliable internet in the nation. Fiber optic to the residence. Speeds up to TRUE 1024Mb/s, even during peak usage times. Best technicians in Indiana. A great storefront representing a great company! I wish they were available in AR!

Great customer service, even after hours you talk to a love person if your having outage problems. The front desk ladies are friendly and helpful when making payments.. In our 3 years we have only had one outage that was not storm related..

Pros:Great pricing on internet and on cable.Fairly reliable. Only gone down a couple times in 2 years.Cons:They nickle and dime you on every addon.This is the first company that charges me to be able to forward ports. They bundled the ability to port-forward with the Static IP so you have to pay to have a static ip to use port forwarding. Can use Dynamic DNS, cant open ports for your video games, cant port forward anything for your cameras/smart home devices unless you pay extraThey have a roku app but you have to pay a monthly fee to use it. You have to pay to rent a cable box too, even if you are paying for the roku app and not using the box.I have my own router (like most people) but they make you pay a $10 technology fee which comes with a router regardless. So add $10 to all their internet pricing. Seems like they said instead of charging X dollars for internet, lets charge $10 less so the pricing seems better and then force them to pay a $10 additional fee so we still get the moneyMy house is all coax. The outside box has a coax connection but is disabled and they wont enable it. They confirmed that it as simple as turning it on but refuse because they said they are trying to get everyone to switch from analog. Ironically, forcing you to use their digital system over the coax means your must pay for a cable box from them.I am on fiber from them. I pay for 100mb but have NEVER gotten that speed. The tech guy informed me that I would probably only ever reach 95mb/s. Most companies will provide you a little more speed to compensate for any issues but, here, im not even provided what speed im paying for.I have had a number of internet issues with speed. I have called and they assured me everything was working optimally. I thought it was my setup until my neighbor mentioned issued at the same time. I did some testing and found that there were dns issues on their side causing VERY long resolve times. I called them and tried explaining the issue so they could fix it and the tech guy started explaining how dns works and it was not even close to being correct. I corrected him and he said he was only a level 1 tech and that he would pass the info along....still causing issues.Edit: Last week I called to order a static IP and pay the $10/month for it even though I dont need it but have to pay for it to be able to use port forwarding through them. I went through the process and, after we finished, the gentleman said it it would be 3-5 days to complete it.......ok...the next week I hadnt heard a peep from anyone so I called on Fri and they put me on hold and returned and said they were putting a rush on it and I would receive and email shortly with the instructions on how to finish the changes. ....nothing. Called again on Monday, put me on hold, and returned and said they see my order was placed on Friday and they are working on it. I asked them about the fact that I ordered it over a week ago, not Friday, and they said they had no record of that. Still no word from them and no email. sigh. At this point, the only reason I am staying with them is the price compared to the competitors but that only keeps me here for so long.
