I have been an advocate of dealership service and have good luck with Castle previous to this experience. I know the weekends are usually a busy time so I schedule my appointments for the week days. I made an appointment for an oil change at 10:00 am. I showed up on time. An hour came and went and no update, after two hours the service person came in with my keys and handed me the bill and held the keys until the cashier processed my payment. When I asked about the delay, the response was that people had appointments before me and two people called in. It was relayed in a manner that was perceived that it was my problem not his. He then went outside to catch a smoke.I have had good luck with the Castle Chevy team in the past, I know it has been a few years since I have been in the dealership but doesnt seem to have the same culture that I remember.I realize that things come up in operations and people call in but I made the effort to schedule an appointment and I was on time and I dont think it is out of the question to expect an update on a service that takes no more than 30 minutes. I watched several other customers come and go in the two hours I was waiting with more extensive work being done.This service experience was not worth the $60 plus dollars for the two hour delay and interaction. Especially for dealership service.I will strongly consider other alternatives next time I need an oil change or any other service to my Chevrolet.

I only go to castle Chevrolet in villa Park for my service. I have Rick or Rusty do maintenance on my vehicles they are hands down the best!! I had some maintenance done last week and a rattle sound coming from my brand new car, Rusty took care of both things and I was out in a little over an hour. I have had issues with the people who check you in they dont really like to listen to what youre saying and like to ignore that Ive made a appointment with a specific mechanic.

They sold me a brand new 2021 Colorado that has issues. Brakes squeal but they say the brakes are fine. The rear camera just went to a blue screen. Its been six months and they say I need a front wheel alignment but the $2,500 warranty I bought doesnt cover that. Theres a rattle under the hood that wasnt there when I first bought it, but they say they cant hear anything. Joke of a place. Ive owned my truck for six months and Im already ready to sell it and get something else from anywhere else.

I bought my dream car (brand new Camaro convertible) from Alex, who was extremely helpful, attentive, and simply great to work with. Alex was able to help me secure a payment that I was comfortable with, get a great value for my trade-in, and didn’t blink an eye when I asked to take a car for a spin off the showroom floor. I know car buying can be stressful, but it was so much fun at Castle Chevrolet. They’re fair and try to get you home with exactly what you want. What more can you ask for? Definitely ask for Alex if you stop in!

When I walked into Castle I was greeted by Ulyses and right from the start he made me feel comfortable. He listened to me about my expectations and what I was looking for. He was able to get me into a brand new car with very low miles and within my budget. I will recommend anyone going to castle and getting a car. And it was the shortest time I have been in a car dealership, it didn’t take 4-6 hours like most of them do, it was under 2 hours which really sold me. So for anyone looking for a new car or even used go to castle because you won’t regret it.

I had a great experience from the start. Chrisi took my call and her promise to get me in early and see that my concerns were addressed were met. Then at the actual appointment, Tony listened and handled things professionally. He answered all my questions and saw that my car was fixed and ready in a reasonable amount of time. Thank you.

I was told I needed to spent at least $125.00 for a maintenance I to get my free oil change. They originally wanted me to spend $334.00 for a 25,000 mile service. Looking at it for 334.00 they give me wiper blades and replace my air cleaner. They need to tell you this when you buy a car not just tell you you need to spend all this money. Same thing for tires for life, by time I get through paying all these so called inspections I will have paid for the tires anyway. I settled for a maintenance I refusing to pay over $300 for inspections.I noticed the Maintenane one included vacuum interior and interior air freshener. I didn’t get either one done. I think I am better off just getting an oil change more local and paying for the service I ask for.

Took my truck in for some misfires and clicking under the hood. They told me the lifters were going bad which is big money to replace. Ended up pulling my truck out of the shop and getting a second opinion. The private shop replaced spark plugs and wires and got me out the door with the issue fixed. I wouldnt recommend the service department here if you think you might have something serious going on.
