They kept forgetting to do my order and every time I’d call they’d say “oh sorry tomorrow it’ll be complete”. A month went by I called again and they still said sorry tomorrow. Finally picked it up and they still charged me full price. Done with this place.

Do not trust this place for fine alterations. I read previous reviews that were very high but I believe that was based on the prior owners work. I took my daughters new prom dress to be hemmed and they completely ruined it. One side hangs on the ground and at least 4 inches longer than the other side of the dress. The beautiful lace and mesh was cut higher than the silk underlying dress in several areas. A child could have done a better job. Ive tried calling them and they will not return my call. Now the mailbox is full.

Probably one of the most negative experiences Ive had with a company. I brought in my bridesmaids dress for a few alterations 5 weeks before the wedding I was supposed to be in. I was informed that it was prom season and that they were busy, since it was so far ahead of time I thought that it would be no problem. Boy was I wrong. The dress was finally ready the day that I needed it, 3 days before the wedding. I was also told in the beginning that I would have to come back in for a fitting to make sure the alterations to the top of the dress were to my liking and then they would complete the hemming, which never happened. There was absolutely no communication whatsoever, until I had to make multiple trips there to find out the status. In the end, the dress was loose in the bust and still too long. I definitely did not get what I paid $175.00 for. Do yourself a favor, if you are looking for a small mom and pop place to get alterations at a good price, look elsewhere. However, if you are from the other side of the bridge and dress the part, Im sure you will be treated with the utmost respect and courtesy.

Maria has altered 3 bridesmaid dresses for me in the last couple years! Each time it is perfect and I always feel welcomed walking in. This last time I dropped off my dress I was 19weeks pregnant and wanted to get it altered to accommodate the growing bump in time for the wedding. I went to pick the dress up today and it was just a tad to big (My fault, I assumed I was going to get bigger) but without hesitation she offered to take it in... she did it very quickly today and it now fits perfect, just in time! Many thanks to Maria for always making my dresses fit just right! Highly recommend Fine Alterations!

Quick turn around (for a fee) but very accommodating and beautiful work! I asked for something detailed to be done in less than 24 hours and they worked their magic.

Ive been coming here for years and had yet to realize how much this staff saves me in tight situations. I had a wedding to attend 3 days prior to me bringing in my pants and jacket to hem. They squeezed me right in, fitted and out the door all in the same day. Very professional and courteous staff. Will always recommend.

I ordered a dress from an online retailer who couldnt be bothered with an updated size chart. I had a Steampunk party to go to and needed a quick and unique dress. So when it came in the day before the party and didnt fit, I went into a panic. I called a few alteration places who said they wouldnt be able to fit me in before I called here. They told me there would be a $20 rush fee but they might me able to. I brought the dress in right away and they said they could do it. I came back the next day and they had done a FANTASTIC job. They needed to add fabric and it was done so well you couldnt tell it had been altered. It fit me so well and I left very happy. Of course do not take my review as a sign you can call the day before and have alertlations done last minute. But please take it as a sign they have great customer service and are beautiful seamstresses. Anything I need altered in the future will be done by them.

I ordered a dress online and the top was way to big for me. I loved the dress so I brought it in to see if they could do something with the top to slim it. About a week later it was ready and perfect!

Dropped of a suit mid December 2019 visited the store several times until finally 2 weeks ago I went back and my suit still not ready. At this point I dont want it back and I will never use nor recommend this place to anybody. Oct 20th 2020 no suit. Run!!

Very nice ladies to work with

I took a skirt to be altered because the first time it was done, it wasnt right and they refused to do customer service and were very rude. I paid $65 for the alteration service and they didnt take responsibility for it. Bad business and extremely rude staff.
