My son took 50 hours of lessons with C2 that included ACT prep as well as college essay writing. We are happy with the way they worked and communicated with us. We were able to schedule lessons as needed with the instructors we preferred. The instructors worked with us on our goals and provided great insight and strategy. There was frequent communication on his learning. ACT prep is expensive but we had a great experience with C2. I’d recommend them. If you do want to get professional help I will recommend starting in junior year or early senior year to give you enough time to apply and become familiar with test strategy.

I want to give a shout out to Lupe and team at C2 Education of Vernon Hills!My daughter took advantage of the PSAT 8-9 they offered via Cook Library and they were wonderful in answering our questions and providing feedback in how she can continue to progress. I highly recommend them and will continue to consider their offerings as my daughter enters high school and gets closer to the PSAT and SAT.

Instructors are nice but honestly didnt feel it was worth the money. I came here for a lot of my high school classes, SAT/ACT classes and college essay prep. I didnt feel like C2 helped me prepare for my SAT/ACT at all and the academic class tutoring still left me confused. I was able to score better on my ACT just by committing to a study routine on my own using free resources on the internet. For college essays you can get the same kind of feedback from high school teachers you are close with. I would not reccomend C2 to anyone in HS.

I was very pleased with the instruction my daughters received. They took a practice SAT test, so the instruction was geared towards their needs based on the test results. Highly recommend!

I’ve been using C2 since the start of my freshmen year of high school (I’m a junior now), and it is safe to say my readiness for my classes and my knowledge on school subjects have increased dramatically. The tutors at C2 do an amazing job at teaching students and helping them problem solve, and they’ve helped in almost every single subject I needed assistance in (PreCalc, Physics, Calc, Writing, SAT, and so on). I’m proud to say I’m a member of the C2 community and can always count on them to help me out with my school work in a fun and friendly way.

C2 really helped me with school, the SAT, and college applications. My grades and SAT score improved a lot (1200 to 1550) within a year and a half and they were able to help me with college essays. The tutors are extremely knowledgeable and understanding and I learned so much from all of them. They had so many resources available to the students including practice tests and questions that were extremely helpful. I would 100% recommend!

I have been going to C2 for over a year, and they have helped me raise my SAT score from a 1080 to a 1560. Along with the SAT, they also provide academic support for classes. With C2’s help, I have seen dramatic improvements to my grades and have become more confident in my skills. The tutoring and consulting at c2 helped me greatly throughout the college application process. I would recommend going early (freshman/sophomore year) so they can work with you to map out a four-year plan for high school. Obviously, not everyone will follow this exactly, but its good to be thinking ahead and to be getting advice in your underclassmen years. They had many practice tests that were often harder than the actual standardized tests which can be great practice, and Id recommend taking advantage of that. The tutors work through any problem you have trouble with as long as you ask and are overall very supportive. In general, c2 is a good resource especially if you dont have the motivation to self study or are completely lost in the process of it.

C2 helped prepare me for both the ACT and my AP tests. The C2 staff is amazing and so supportive of all their students. Thanks to them, I got into my dream school!

This is an amazingly well organized C2 center. The center director, Ms. Sujin Kim, applies her prior experience as an educator to her work with the students at the center efficiently. We have been with the center for 2 years and have worked with quite a few tutors on various subjects, from AP Exam preparations to college essays. Sujin always listens to our needs carefully, and provides the best fit between the tutor and the student learning style, if needed. All the tutors we worked with are excellent. The co-ordinations are also so dedicated to their work. We really appreciate their tireless texts immediately upon our requests for making changes on a scheduled class or informing us an opening when we are on the waiting list for a popular day.

C2 Education has taught me so many wonderful things and has really helped me improve myself, not just academically, but as a person as well. High praise to Sujin for her excellent work, as well as the many tutors. I recommended anyone who wants a friendly environment to learn and grow to join as soon as possible.

C2 was really helpful in preparing me for my ACT junior year, and taught me a lot about time management in other aspects of my academic career. I scored a 35 just by working closely with the tutors and reviewing over tests. Highly recommend!!

Went to C2 over the summer preparing for the ACT. My English score went from a 21 on a practice ACT, to a 35 on the real thing. They taught me most of my current knowledge of English grammar. Their tutors are nice and very knowledgeable. I recieved more practice and tips for the ACT than what otherwise would have been inpossible. Would totally recommend, 5 stars.

I’m going to be super honest. At first, I was super skeptical of this place. But as I went to C2 week after week, it became clear that Sujin and all the other tutors truly want you to succeed in your academics, whatever that goal might be. Whatever subject I was struggling in, the tutors were there to help, and my grades improved over the years. Furthermore, C2 knew exactly what areas I was good at and what I needed work on. With this, C2 reinforced my strengths, and drastically transformed my weaknesses into strengths. Not only this, but the tutors are very nice, which caused me to truly feel at home while at C2. I’ve been attending C2 for over a year now, and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon. 100% recommend👍👍

This C2 center is the best thing that happened to our son. He benefited greatly from the ACT instruction to achieve a near perfect score. They also help him with SAT subject tests and helped achieve a perfect score in his Math 2 test. He also was able to improve his grades in AP Calc BC and AP Bio school work. The tutors are really helpful and my son enjoys coming here. The center director has been of tremendous help advising us on course selection, college lists and admissions process. She motivated my son to be more organized and realize his true potential. I highly recommend this center.

I think C2 is a great center for students who want to learn more. I started C2 not knowing what to expect from the program. I later found that the efforts I put into C2 is what I am getting out of it. The reading section in the SAT used to be one of my worst subjects, but C2 and I changed it into it being one of my best. They taught me strategies and rules for the SAT and school that I never knew existed. I really like how the teachers and staff will always try their best to meet your needs. The teachers are really friendly and always ask how their students have been. They always want to make sure that the student is receiving help with anything they are having trouble with.They are always flexible and they help the student in any way possible. There are times where I will find out about a test that is coming up soon, and I can text the staff at C2 to receive help studying immediately! I like that the teachers are constantly trying to help improve their students. They will always suggest new methods to improve your learning. These SAT books not only prepared me for the SAT, but they helped with my school work as well.

Prior to coming here I found it difficult to deal with my school work. After coming to C2 Sujin and other staff have helped me become a more focused individual, increasing my grades. I know that the skills I have learned here will help me for the rest of my life.

C2 has not only been my savior but also a huge academic support. Before c2, my verbal and comprehensive skills were appalling with my analytical reasoning was off the hook. However, c2 stuck with me, helping me strengthen my weak and strong areas.After coming to c2, I was introduced to the fruits of hard work, and the sweets of achieving my goals. I remember the first time I was at c2. I was embarrassed to tell him that a sophomore girl wasn’t even able to identify what an antecedent was. The instructor, smiling, told me calmly that it was okay and that everybody learned at a different pace. He would give me specialized worksheets designed to strengthen one area of a skill with many practice problems. During sessions, we would work on analyzing the passages for distinctive details and then discussing various strategies in which to tackle the question. Within two months of coming to c2, I improved my ACT score by 6 points! Thanks you c2!

Following my first “trial” SAT, I was unsatisfied with the score I had received and wanted to increase my score. The writing section had been my worst subject out of all of the categories, so I decided to focus on writing and math with the tutors. The C2 tutors did a wonderful job of fixing my previous errors and misconceptions, and instilled a better understanding of SAT writing and math in me. We followed a plan to prepare me for the second SAT I signed up for. Following a few months of tutoring, I was elated with my second score. I had improved tremendously with the help of C2, and no longer needed to worry about taking more SATs in order to reach a satisfactory score. Thanks C2!
