Scam artists….that’s what I would call this place! I drove over an hour to look at a vehicle that didn’t have the same features that were listed online. No worries I understand it’s a ploy to get more hits by their marketing department. After test driving 4 different vehicles I finally decided on Lincoln MKS. I was hesitant at first because I was trading a Dodge that was newer. But after some back and forth negotiations and reassurance that it had gone through a thorough inspection I felt like I was making a good decision. We waited almost two more hours to sign on the dotted line. I won’t lie, I was tired, hungry, and done after being there for over 5 hours so I didn’t read the final paperwork like I should have. I saw that the payment was what I had agreed upon and signed away. However, once I got home and looked at my paperwork I found that they gave me less than what I had agreed upon on my trade in by several hundred dollars. Super annoying that they so easily lied and manipulated things. I take that as my fault for not reading more thoroughly before signing. That’s my fault. Never trust a dealership’s word. But now less than 30 days since my purchase and my sunroof has stopped working (of course the week it’s nonstop raining) and there is a clanking noise in the front end. I call them and am told that it’s a used vehicle so nothing they can do, the cost to repair will be at my expense. I highly recommend going somewhere else and not trusting the positive reviews like I did!

The staff was accommodating and professional. My only concerns with the purchase are things likely out of their hands. Their bank held up a wire transfer for several days, these are guaranteed and nearly instant funds yet the bank held them as pending for some time. It has now been a month and I still dont have a title in hand. I expect this to be normal for Ohio, my temp tag is for 45 days.

Every thing went all right but I was disappointed because of a lack of models on the lot.Apparently the chip problem is causing Ford to have fewer deliveries to the dealers. I could have ordered a model but deliveries are behind also. I think this dealer did well but I could have had a little more instruction of the features of my Edge Sel ...................

We drove from Columbus, OH to Vermilion to purchase a used car at Liberty. Bob was wonderful! He knew we were travelling a long way and had everything ready to go. When we got there the Mazda was washed, had a full tank of gas, and was up front running so it was nice and warm when we got in to test drive. We were in and out in just about an hour for our cash deal. I would definitely recommend Bob and Liberty Ford!

Highly recommend. I have an older model Lincoln truck and what would have probably cost me thousands and taken a week or more at any other shop, they took care of in two days at a great price that included a rental. I purchased a used car from Liberty Ford. I worked with Jeff who was very good to work with. He was low pressure and there just to do his best to answer my questions. They had fixed up the car from the trade in so that it was ready to go off the lot. I have had the car a couple of weeks and am very satisfied with the purchase.It is a big dealership, so you talk to the salesman, who has to go to someone else to work out the price, and then a different person does the paperwork and closes the deal. Just takes longer than a smaller place and they try to depersonalize the price haggling, which I think is meant to give them an advantage.Overall I felt the dealership was fair and Jeff made communication easy and was responsive even after the sale on some questions.

I would like to tell you about my experience of cooperation with this company. I made an order for rord f 350. I was not told the price right away and will send everything to email. Now a week has passed and there is no information. You guys need to learn to work. I am from Ukraine and there they would call me and persuade me every day. You may be thinking this is one dealership in the USA. good luck with your work.Today is the eighth day (workday) as I wait for an answer with the price for the car. Just the price for the car. I have completely specified the configuration, you have my phone number and email. What do you want to discuss? I understand you want to discuss it is normal to wait 8 days for the price or is it not enough. Will my grandchildren get the car then?

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! Took my wifes 2020 ford edge that we bought certified from Liberty in vermilion to have the oil changed, when I went to pick it up there was a scratch from the front passenger door all the way to the back passenger bumper. They tried to buff it out, and when it wouldnt come out they told me there was nothing else they could do. I will never spend another dollar with them.BEWARE

Waited over two weeks for a routine maintenance appointment. Was told that due to covid, this is the soonest appointment they had. I asked to be called if there was a cancelation, and did not receive said call. We have been regular customers of this establishment for over 20 years, including buying more than one car from them. I was annoyed but understood. Their customer service interactions with me were above standard ... I was pleased to enjoy a cup of coffee and a snack from their complementary basket. Overall, they rock at what they do ... just wish I could have been served sooner.

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COST! I purchased a 2019 Ford Flex earlier this year, during the Covid pandemic. The dealership completed the transaction virtually and delivered the car to me. I gave them a cashiers check for my down payment and at the time, I was told they would mail me the documents from the sale. After calling and emailing several times, I finally received a photocopy of the front side of the title only to be told that I need both sides of the title to register my car. Liberty Ford Vermillion will not return my calls or emails now. Really poor customer service.

I do not suggest buying any vehicles from this dealership. The Manager Fred is not trustworthy or honorable. I came to look at a car Thursday evening and they quoted me a price. I went home and thought about it for a couple days. I spoke with the salesman a couple times on Friday talking about price. He told me the best price he could do. I decided Saturday morning that I wanted the car at that price and when I called, Fred said they would not do that price they quoted me just a day before. He then proceeded I would have to pay more because they raised the price of the car. This is no way to do business with customers. Jeff the salesman was a nice guy and responded quickly.

Called about a 2015 nissan leaf yesterday i am now its proud owner this dealership and especially Norman Schultz will make the transaction quick and easy hour trip from mansfield electric car charged overnight and spark was traded and sale made paperwork signed in an hour. They are quick, efficient, friendly, and great financing! Car was in excellent condition washed and ready to drive back to mansfield best dealership out of 5 dealerships so far! Very happy with financing quality and sales service!

This is the Most deceptive Dealership I have ever seen in all my Years.....I have so many Customers come to my shop with Horror story’s about there purchase’s from this Dealership.....Just Recently a Young couple bought a flex that they bought at this Dealership and they told them it had a multipoint inspection and 4 days later the Battery went dead leaving them stranded in Tennessee and they told her that the Battery can go bad in a week 😳 now the wife is driving it home with a Cylinder 4 misfire that a shop in Tennessee told her the damage is internal.....Hope she makes it home.....Stay Away from this Dealership !!!!

Hands down the best car purchasing experience ever. I saw an add on marketplace, messaged and a few days later, I drove from another state to Liberty Ford in Vermilion and picked up an Explorer Platinum. Ive bought and traded a lot of cars in my decades and this service and customer treatment is outstanding. This place is the model that other car dealers need to strive towards. Devoted, knowledgeable staff, and a fantastic sales manager really make this a place I will return to. Definitely worth the drive for me, and will be worth it to you as well.

My husband and I decided that we will ALWAYS be Liberty Ford, Vermilion, customers. We just purchased a new Ranger. As we waited for the paperwork to be drawn up, we were struck by how good natured the employees were. They really seemed to enjoy each other. This place isnt your typical stuffy car dealer. What a nice atmosphere to be in. I also have noticed in the past when having my oil changed, sitting in a very nice waiting area, that every employee that walked through, greeted everyone with a cheery Hello. We also liked the fact that our salegirl was absolutely the best. At no time was she pushy, trying to make that sale. Which is a big turn off for us. She patiently waited while we made our decision on what Ranger to purchase. And processed our information in a timely manner. Every single person we had contact with was wonderful. It made our truck buying experience, fun!! Liberty Ford in Vermilion did a great job replacing the water pump on my 2016 Explorer. The job was timely and professional. However this will be my last Ford. Almost $1900 to replace a water pump that is built on the inside of the engine! Poor design, not very well thought out. This water pump failure had the potential to destroy the engine at 75,000 miles. Its a bad design and Ford is aware of the failures of these pumps but still pass the cost on to owners. Very satisfied with the service,extremely disappointed in this explorer!

Our sales lady (Nadia) was great. I was purchasing this vehicle over the phone and drove down there on the same day to pick it up. Everything was as planned, transaction was easy and all the people we met were friendly. Even as a Michigander, these buckeye fans treated me and wife wonderfully. My vehicle is exactly what I needed. The sales agent was great. The time I spent in the dealership was FAR longer than it should have been, since everyone was always super busy doing something else other than trying to get the sale done. Checkout took 3 hours, and this was NOT financed. Compared to the other dealership, thats nearly DOUBLE. If I was not encouraged by family to be patient with Liberty, I would have gone to the other dealership where Ive already got 3 other cars from historically. Sorry guys.

I financed a used vehicle from here about a month ago. the vehicle was a 2008 Audi S5 4.2L V8 6 Speed manual. I drove about 1.5 hours to purchase this vehicle. The sales man Patrick that helped me was wonderful and very kind and helpful he did everything he could to make the experience great. I got to test drive the vehicle before purchasing it and engine light came on and they said it was just misfires, there was random misfires codes for 4 cylinders and purchasing the vehicle as is I was weary so I tried to negotiate on the price because its an Audi and theyre not cheap to fix incase I had to fix anything, but management wouldnt budge on the price. I got the codes cleared after purchasing the vehicle they never came back on. Ive been driving manual for about 8 years and something Ive never experienced before started happening where when I engaged the clutch to start the car sometimes it would start and sometimes it wouldnt. I had only had the car for a week when this started happening i had only put about 600 miles on it. The car wasnt reading that I was depressing the clutch. I took the vehicle to the Audi dealership to get checked out and there was a technical service bulletin posted for this vehicle which is a common problem that occurs over time from wearing of the clutch switch on the throw out bearing inside the transmission which the dealership I purchased it from should have diagnosed and had checked before selling me the car, although I had purchased the vehicle as is it hadnt even been 30 days since owning the vehicle so I thought I would contact the dealership to possibly see if they would go 50/50 on the repair cost, which most dealerships Ive been to dont mind doing to keep the customer satisfied. Especially since it was in the first 7 days of owning it. I wasnt very happy with the whole situation and experience from this dealership. I just hope no one else gets screwed buying a used vehicle from here and ends up with a car that said to be in good contain mechanically but is not.

Purchased a used 2015 Ford edge. The vehicle was great and I even purchased their warranty and maintenance packages. Purchased the vehicle in February. March comes around and I get a check engine light. Made an appointment and had it fixed but they charged me $106 dollars for it. It was covered by the warranty but the 100 deductible was applied.Update raised the rating from 1 to 4 stars. Had the GM call me and apologized. Said the $100 deductible is standard but he understood my point of view because I had recently purchased the vehicle. Offered to reimburse me for the $100W and offered help with any future incidents thattmay occur. Ill keep updating this on future visits about my experience. But they did reach out a helping hand.

Terrible service, I was guaranteed over the phone the vehicle would pass a P.A. inspection so I put a deposit on the vehicle and made the drive a few days later. Upon arriving and my first look at the vehicle I noticed the front tires are completely bald and never rotated, even after they “serviced it.” Once I spoke with the salesman he really didn’t care that he guranted me over the phone that it would pass P.A inspection, probably figuring i made a 3 hour drive that I was going to buy it. I highly suggest not wasting your time here, there’s many other dealerships that won’t be such liars.
