Great place to get work done

Is a good place for resurfacing cylinder heads, engine blocks, flywheels and more a good prices.

I called around for pricing and info regarding my sbc 350. By far Jim was the friendliest and most reasonably priced. He didnt give me a woman - ugh attitude, in fact he made me feel at home and was very patient with my crazy questions.

Good guy left the shop open after hours to resurface my fly wheel and wouldnt accept a tip. Good service. Good price

I brought them a 4-cyl overhead cam head to be checked for damage after the car had overheated badly. They did not call back to report anything but went ahead and milled the head flat AND also did a complete valve job. Then they called and I went in to pay and pick up the head. After paying they tell me the head warp had been .126 in. Trouble is, you cant re-use an overhead cam head thats been warped that much because the cam needs to ride on a true and straight flat plane that is now curved! After asking around at other shops and researching online, I brought the head back to them with a simple request: Is the curve in the cam plane so bad now that the head is no longer usable? They answered YES. Either they didnt think of this when milling the head (??!!) or they did not care that their customer was going to end up with a broken cam. That, and not calling for authorization makes this one shop we will not be going back to.

Very knowledgeable and quick workers that can get the job done right

They have built several engines for me. The latest is a small block Ford. It made 425hp at the tires (dyno proven) and has sent my car down the 1/4 at 130 mph. Awesome guys and awesome power!

Jim has always treated me great and did top work just like Lou when he owned the shop. I dont trust anyone in the Cou to touch my engine work and I should know I been a Machinist for 40 years so do yourself a favor and have him do your engine work.
