Checkmate Carpet Cleaning is the best carpet cleaning service we have ever had. Bill is so knowledgeable and friendly. He went above and beyond. Not only did he do a fantastic job cleaning our carpet, it looks like new, he treated cat urine stains in our sons room that we were unble to treat successfully ourselves. He also did a great job repairing carpet that was not secured to the tac strip. I highly recommend Bill and Checkmate.

We just had our carpets cleaned. It was scheduled for 10 and he was right on time. We had used Checkmate a few years ago and were happy with them. It was good because Bill was punctual and very professional and covid compliant. We had vacuumed a couple of times before he arrived. We also know we have a big dog that sheds. We had a couple of rooms and about 15 stairs. The price we were quoted seem to be fair, so we got out of the way. We also knew we had some problem areas. Bill got right after it and pre treated the spots. Another reason we used Checkmate was because of the extremely hot water they use, and leave behind so little water which is really important because our lower level is concrete floors. At one point Bill was half way through the family room. I looked down stairs and could see the difference between the clean and dirty. Wow, We were very pleased with how much dirt was being removed. When Bill started the stairs, after pretreating he used a rotating brush on the treads and risers, when he showed me how much dirt and hair already removed. After he left we set up fans and within 8 to 9 hours it was dry to the touch. Im sure its because of the extremely hot water and the efficient vacuum system leaving very little water behind. He also used a nifty system to move the heavy furniture that we couldnt move. He put that stuff on blocks. If I had to rate the job from a 1 to 10, he would get a 10. It took a little longer than the cut rate carpet cleaners but I also believe they couldnt do near as good of a job.

Every experience I had with them was a good one. They had great availability and every person I spoke with was kind and genuine. Trevor was able to come out and provide a quote very soon after I called for an assessment. Since I approved the cost when he was at the house still, he was able to clean everything that same day! I work from home so I was in one of the carpeted rooms he was cleaning and witnesssd him literally get down on his hands and knees to ensure every spot and stain was resolved.My main concern or reason for calling was that our older dog had incontinence in her final days. No matter how much I tried to clean up after her, there was always something lingering. Trevor was able to get rid of everything and now the house looks and smells great. It’s a carpet cleaning miracle!

I did not expect a miracle... and got one anyway. We recently became empty nesters and the carpet in our sons room was pretty bad. We also have two dogs and a cat (who like to keep their respective territories straight). My 5 year old carpet looks brand new! George will rip you off! Make sure you talk to him about the price up front.My Landlord uses George for cleaning the carpets. I asked him if he could clean an old mattress with pet stains while he was at the house. He waved his wand on it for under 5 minutes and told me that it was clean but the stain wouldnt come out! Then he charged me $100 dollars!!!$100 dollars to wave a wand over an old mattress and he didnt even get the stain out.Luckily, George only got the chance to rip me off once. I will never recommend him to anyone.
