Americans with Disabilities would like to hear about this..I sought the assistance of Labor Finders to remove the contents from 2 storage units in Valdosta and load the contents in to a uhaul truck. It was 10 A.M. in the morning when one guy arrived for work. He had the distinct odor of alcohol along with an attitude. He proceeded to drop and damage a $2,000 desk from Restoration Hardware and when confronted about the damage, he proceeded to do more damage to the desk. Needless to say, the guy had to be escorted off by police. When I contacted Jason, the manager of Labor Finders to advise him of the situation and to inquire as to what he was going to do to compensate me for the damages, he explained that he only has workers comp which covers his help if they get hurt and is not responsible for any damages that may have been caused by the labor he provided. It was then implied by Jason, that I did not have proper supervision. In Jasons opinion, my 47 year old son that was trying to help his mother out, is not considered qualified supervision because he has a prosthetic leg and maybe cant move quick enough to provide what Jason considers qualifiedsupervision. Is this how Jason feels about all disabled people.
This happens to be a place that I work from time to time when their is work, forMe it is a very great experience because I am known to work all over ga. When and where there is work goingOn. (William Taylor).
Do whatever they can to not help you. It’s their policy. They want you to drive up there everyday to sign a piece of paper every morning and make you pay 12 dollars for your own background check. Even when it’s clear. Companies Are not entitled to your labor just like you’re not entitled to a pay check. Useless company especially to people who come in needing to work to provide for themselves.
Will help u find a good job
Very unprofessional.
