I rented a truck that I needed, with the agreement that it had to be back in 6 hours, for another customer who reserved it later in the day. I paid the full price that would usually be charged for 24hrs, out of desperation at the moment. I agreed because I needed it.I returned it within 3 hours, when I was done with my first trip, hoping maybe they could accommodate me with a smaller truck for the remainder of the 24hr period, since I was paying full price, and they had plenty small trucks. A small truck was also originally offered to me for a full 24hr period.I didnt make any demands and was not rude to anyone. Was just hoping maybe theyd help me out as a customer, given the circumstances. Rather than having an open discussion with me about it, I was basically immediately lectured and told that I agreed to the short rental, that they werent changing the contract, and that they didnt have to offer me anything outside of the contract CONVERSATION OVER.I told them I knew they didnt HAVE TO DO anything. I made a simple request and didnt understand why I was met with such resistance. The woman helping me was the ALL BUSINESS with a no customer service type personality, which is unnecessary. The business was empty and no one in line, as it was when I originally picked up the truck.Its a shame that no real customer service and friendliness is the norm these days. And I dont believe the customer is always right, but I do believe businesses should try, when they can.This is a newer storage business, clean inside and out, and nice facility.. Better customer service wouldve gotten repeat business from me, and referrals to friends for future business with them. I guess playing the hard role was worth to the person at the counter. Why help me with an available truck when you already have my money for a 3hr rental I guess, huh. Thanks Uhaul of Vaca Valley

Manager here is something else and not in a good way. Dont waste your time with these ppl. Absolutely rude and disrespectful. U-haul better ✔management here! Everyone who works here looks like they smoked there breakfast. 🌬

I was delayed two days because of truck vandalism and tow dolly problems. Transload and truck replacement took forever because the loaders were 16 hours late. Beaumont, CA Uhaul got a good truck and tow dolly for me and were great folks. The Vacaville Uhaul folks where I returned the truck were great! They fixed the agreement and extended the days and additional miles, removed the straps and chains from the tow dolly and got me out of the Uhaul yard quickly. Thanks to the Vacaville guys a five day ordeal ended on a positive note.

So happy that the original storage location became unavailable upon my arrival from Texas. Been here for 6 months now with no problems. Happy with my unit size and location. I use uhual for everything!

** UPDATED **Staff is rude and and had a tantrum when I would not sign the contract without seeing it. Price is NOT as advertised. Management refuses to correct issue with unit. From day one - the door on the unit is damaged and they refuse to fix it and expect me to pay to have my belongings moved to a different unit. I am VERY disappointed. I do NOT recommend this business in any way.

I reserved a uhaul 30 [redacted] days prior to my needs. They called me hours before my pick up, 28 days past my 30 days notice, to tell me they failed to secure the reservation I made. Wow. Thanks a lot guys.

The gentman I believe is the supervisor is amazing also the sweet lady who works weekends morning /days she may also ne a maneger or supervisor made or stay with them so amazing thank you so much you 2 the worst time in our lives and everything was going wrong this was the one place we didnt ever have to worry about you guys rock!!!

I’ve been renting here for about 6 months and I have my business items stored and I access my unit every week. I have to say this facility and Jerome and he’s staff if the best out here in Vacaville. Very clean, always there to help with any issues.

They confirmed they had a the moving truck I needed and then when I showed they did not have it. When I was not happy with this the person at the desk started telling me how hard her job is like its my fault they overbooked.
