It is pretty hit or miss here. Ive had good experiences and poor ones. My conversations with people here, in person or by phone, have been mostly productive, which I appreciate.I was away for an extended period of time, and this postal station allowed a relative to come pick up my held mail, with my permission. I was thankful that this was allowed.As for the hold mail requests, these have sometimes worked, but, other times, packages have been delivered during the hold mail period, which is frustrating, because carriers often dont put packages out of sight (again, the point of having a container in front of the house to keep them safe). I also dont understand why, when a hold mail is in effect, packages via USPS would still be delivered.A couple of times, a USPS package delivery driver has thrown packages over my front gate, even though I have a box with nearly foot-high letters that says PACKAGES by the gate. One of these packages contained a book that Id ordered from overseas; the books spine was broken and it literally had grass stains! I went to this postal location, and explained to the manager that this is unacceptable. He was friendly and apologized multiple times, saying he would do something about it.For every one frustrating instance, there are many good ones that go unnoticed; such is the life of USPS employees.

We get our neighbors mail. Weve had neighbors get ours regularly, too. Even packages!! In this day of identity theft that must NOT happen. Postman, please double check the mail AS you deliver it. Please! Look at the STREET NUMBER as well as the house number.I get mail for my house number but on many wrong street numbers!! Thank you!!

I was surprised because the reviews left me terrified to go in. But I met with Scot there and he could not have been more helpful. Answered all my questions, knew what he was doing, told me he would follow up on my issue, and called me back back later that day. Would happily go back for any other issue.

I have a very expensive package that was supposed to be delivered today. I added delivery instructions that said to leave it on the porch but dont knock. 10am I get a text that says itll be delivered by 1215pm. 1130am rolls around and I get another text saying it was held at the post office as per customers request. Thats not what I asked for. I called and the guy said he didnt know why it wouldnt be delivered because its the normal carrier. I tell im fine with picking it up was just curious why it didnt get delivered. He takes my name and number down and says hell call me when she gets back from the route and I can pick it up then. Its now 5pm, I never got a call and theyre closed.

This particular location does not allow you to mail packages or buy stamps. Should not be listed as a Post Office open to the public if they do not offer basic services.

No customer service, no help, delivery always to a wrong house so neighbors have to deliver mail to each other. Leaving sorry we missed you notes and never ring the bell. Postal service used to be a friendly and reliable service, but not anymore.When you call the office there is no option to talk to someone, only automated system which repeats Im sorry, i didnt understand. Bad, bad, bad service.

We recently placed a hold on our mail for pickup at the annex. Today I stopped before work to pick up our mail. Despite the sign on the door that started that they open at 8:30, the door remained locked until well after 8:35. The lady at the counter was rude and unfriendly. It took 15 minutes for her to find all of our mail. When I asked for a bag to carry the mail (Im on crutches), she rolled her eyes at me and begrudgingly found a bag. I was disappointed in the extremely poor customer service.

Phone number rings busy. The number listed here is the same one that the notice has. The few times I have picked up packages it has taken a while to answer their door and the staff looks unenthusiastic. Seems like there are still some nice people there though.

I was told I had to pick up my mail box key at this location. When I stopped by they didnt have one and would have to order it. I stopped by today (a week later) and they still dont have the key. I was informed that the manager forgot to order one, and never even touched the note the associate left for them.

They literally gave my package to a random person, didn’t even check an ID. They first tried to tell me they misplaced it. Then accused me of sending someone to pick it up for me and that i just forgot.

I get my neighbors mail and they get mine on a regular basis. The mail carrier lady once told me she was too tired to walk up the stairs to my apartment to deliver my package so she just took it back to the post office. The mail carrier before her would have my mail to me by 1:30 pm 3 o clock at the latest and my new mail carrier takes until 4 and sometimes 7 o clock before i get my mail. When I call to complain or fix a situation I only have pleasant conversation with two of the employees both female and work INSIDE the post office. figures they have morons doing all the other jobs.

Not exactly the best location but witnessed an employee asking a man for ID before he would give him a package. Man did not have ID and started stuttering about the box and ran out. So that is something that matters...theres always some scammer or thief out there trying to take something that isnt theirs.

The postal carriers DO NOT CARE. My experience is careless, lazy, and just unmotivated.. I am ashamed to live in this neighborhood.. PLEASE you definitely need to have a team meeting or fire and rehire.. This is a service we are entitled to in this area... It is not our fault you choose to work here.

Received neighbors mail a few times, have had packages that required signature that they attempted to deliver and no one was home and they knock and no on was home even though theyre on camera and literally never took the package off their vehicle and no attempt ever made to knock or even leave a notice, even though it would be unnecessary because I was home on all occasions. Have had my packages delivered to random people who came by and dropped it off after they had opened and realized the package wasnt for them.

Consistently fail at delivering my packages because they are either lazy or incompetent.

Michelle and my mail carrier are the only people Ive had pleasant experiences with. The rest seem to be a joke and Ray needs demoted or fired. The rudest employee on the planet.

Lazy and careless carriers. Management is just the same. There is no where to send a complaint. It just goes back to the lazy managers and in circles again. These people are the reason everyone wants to use FedEx or UPS instead.

This is for missed packages / pick up for Urbandale Iowa area only.Also please keep in mind no retail services what so ever ie stamps shipments etc.They have some basic forms and documents in the front though.

And they wonder why the USPS is failing on a massive level...

The people are careless and lazy. Im appalled to have this place as my carrier facility. No help and it’s a hit or miss if they deliver my packages. The only thing they deliver is frustration and disappointment.

Customer service was very lazy and you could tell she didn’t care about her job at all. Get a notification that my package was delivered on the 9th actual delivery was today the 15. How is that possible? Don’t mail anything through the post office go through UPS or FedEx no hassle there

THE WORST!!!! I cant tell you how many times I have left mail to be picked up for delivery and to be ignored for several days!!!!

Horrible service, unreachable for questions, late or not delivered mail every Monday!!! It is 6:00 pm and I still have not received todays mail.

Put my package in wrong box! Called a few times and they take my info down, and never get back to me. I called again, they blocked my number! I am not happy because they put no effort into finding where my package is. Horrible horrible place.

They seem poorly trained to deal directly with the public, and pretty unorganized, only 1 time out of 4 did I feel like I was dealing with someone who knew what was going on...

Failed to hold mail earlier this year then now is failing to deliver accumulated mail. Recently moved from another state and this NEVER happened.

I had a hold on my mail to be delivered today and they didnt deliver my mail. This is Saturday now I have to wait till Monday. There were items I needed today. Poor service.
