Terrible management. I spoke with Jermaine tonight, who is the “supervisor” as well as a technician named Antoinette. There was an issue where the technician did not collect a payment for HER OWN services. I got a call back from Antoinette directly and she began instantly yelling at me demanding a payment. I asked her if she had asked for the payment while she was at the house and she stated “no.” And continued to yell at me asking for the money. I run a group home with developmentally disabled adults and explained that my agency is cash only, that someone could come pick it up because we have the cash on hand, but I do not have a card number to give out. Antoinette couldn’t even finish a conversation with me before she had her supervisor Jermaine hop on the phone. Jermaine as well instantly started to yell at me when I was explaining the situation. He then began questioning me on my management skills when I explained that if my staff messed up and forgot to do something, it would be their responsibility to fix the problem, not to push it onto someone else and lose their temper while doing so. Jermaine continued yelling at me and then told me to take half the responsibility of this issue. Gentle hands phlebotomy has terrible customer service, and terrible management skills. I began to advocate for my Individual and Jermaine began to state that they will not send anything to the lab unless I payed on my credit card for this visit. He also stated he was “going” to come pick up the payment, but is no longer going to because I was very rude. To resolve this situation and make sure my individual is still getting the proper medical attention she need, I payed with my personal credit card for this visit. It is my job to advocate for my individuals and I feel that all of us in this situation were being treated very poorly. I will no longer be using this service and will let anyone I know that does use it, to stop. This was not okay and I do not appreciate being treated the way I was tonight because a technician could not properly do her job. Shame on you Antoinette and Jermaine. Shame on you.

The phlebotomist was great! She called the night before with the time and called prior to arrival. The blood draw was flawless.

By all means avoid this people, not only they will try to charge you for services not rendered and insist to get paid without any proof or bill.They have a thug that goes by the name JARMAIN, he falsely claims to be the owner, supervisor and CEO, when in fact the owner and CEO is TEASHA ROBINSON-BURNS.Please do your part by exposing these FRAUDS through the proper channels and report them to all the health and human services entities in your area.I know of too many elder and innocent people that had been abused and taken advantage by individuals like JARMAIN.I have contacted the real CEO to let her know of this illegal and embarrassment of behavior.

I emphatically do not recommend this provider. This is an extremely rude and unprofessional company who denied care to a family member because I asked for a morning appointment to work around a doctors appointment later in the day and because I asked to not be called at 10 o’clock at night. This is truly disgraceful behavior, especially in the healthcare arena. Shame on you. It is disappointing to see so many other reviews where people were treated just as disrespectfully. We are pleased that we did not get to the point of having someone from this company in our home after reading the other reviews and the outrageous treatment we received today. Again, shame on you.

In June 2020, I had a great experience with Gentle Hands Mobile Phlebotomist who was ordered through my Transplant Center. A wonderful woman named, Tonie, called me the next evening with instructions. I am immunosuppressed and am so thankful for this service and for Tonie being on the front lines out there, along with everyone else, risking their lives to preserve my own. When Toni arrived I had 2 other labs from other doctors I needed done and learned she could accept them at the same time as well! That was perfect! All labs were done correctly. I needed their services again for this month and I contacted Gentle Hands MPS from the information on the wonderfully sized business card Tonie gave me, which I had stapled to a file folder I created. This time I need their services for a different doctor but didnt know the process doing it on my own, so I called the number on the card that gives very detailed information and left a message. The said they would call back in 48 hours, but I didnt receive a call back last month. Perhaps due to COVID-19 or perhaps communication like this needs to be handled only by the doctors office and Gentle Hands MPS. Either way, I followed up since its near my appointment date. I called my doctors office and they reminded me I was to have called Gentle Hands and get back to them. I then called the person who originally sent Gentle Hands out to me the first time, then called back this doctor and gave that information to their office. As per my office girls request, I left another message to Gentle Hands telling them my doctors office is sending out the required information, my demographics, the order and my insurance information, etc to back up and support my doctors office who never used Gentle Hands before. I also emailed Gentle Hands MPS from their email address the recording gave over the phone. I didnt know how to do any of this but now I know its best to have the doctors office work with Gentle Hands Mobile Phlebotomist directly, since the doctors office is who provides the order and has all my info on file. I hope how I went about this in my first experience doing so on my own with Gentle Hands helps others as well. I believe these individuals are working from home and call the night before, because I need to take my meds and have labs done with in a 12 hr time frame. Toni gave me thorough instructions. My doctors offices ordered their service and processed all the paper work and it worked out beautifully. I am sure it will again this time and in my future too.

Do NOT use this device. I had a similar experience. A rude woman called my husband on a Wednesday night and set up and appointment to be at our house between five and seven. They also told him it was a 75.00 copay. On Thursday at 7:46pm I called them to see when they are coming as my husband has pancreatitis and was beginning to get in a lot of pain and his doctor is worried his infection level may be rising again; hence the blood test. The woman was the RUDEST woman I have EVER spoke with and said she was not coming because she never got a call back to confirm our appointment. When I told her she spoke with my husband (she had the audacity to call him at 9:47pm to schedule this) she started screaming at me that she left a voice mail and never spoke with him. She sounded extremely drunk when we did speak with her and she had no memory of the appointment AND I spoke with my insurance company and they said there is no such “fee” they should be charging only our standard copay. These people are a scam and frauds and rude to boot. I wouldn’t trust them to draw blood from a rock Nevermind a person. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!!

Please stay away from GENTLE HANDS MOBILE PHLEBOTOMY. They have screwed up my bloodwork two times and will not take responsibility for it. In the latest incident, LabCorp reports some of the blood samples were not properly centrifuged, which made the samples unusable. In addition, key information was left off of the requisition causing issues with the lab report. The owner was unwilling to take responsibility for it. She called me two times. Talked over me and was very rude. I have been using LabCorp all my life and have never had an issue until I started using this service. It is really unfortunate because it is a great idea, but badly executed. TRY ANOTHER SERVICE

Do NOT use this service! They charged me 75 dollars and neglected to draw two of the labs my doctor ordered. Both were really important tests. Not only didnt they send ANY of the results to my doctor, they missed the two most important tests. Tried to call them and they told me the tests were never ordered- which I know was a lie because I read the script! I even called them the day before to make sure they had everything straight. The guy was really rude to me and refused to talk to me, demanding to speak to my doctor instead - like my doctor has time to call the lab service and have it out with them. Now they want to charge me 75 more dollars to come back and take the labs they didnt draw the first time. I have a badly compromised immune system and wanted the safety of a person coming to my house but these people are terrible! I feel that they take advantage of people who have compromised immune systems or are at high risk from covid and then provide shoddy service knowing we cant really go anywhere else, that we dont have any choice but to use them or risk our lives.

We had a wonderful woman named Toni. Toni took care of my cousin who has cerebral palsy and hates getting blood work. Toni handle my cousin with compassion, she knew how to handle her. Toni was wonderful.

Do NOT use this service! A very nervous woman came to the house. The woman was the RUDEST woman I have EVER met. She denied to take off her shoes or put on any shoes covers. I gave her bаgs. Then she got to my moms room and started to prepar to do the blood test... DID NOT WASH HER HANDS!!! DID NOT HAVE GLOVES!!! When I politely asked her if she would like to wash her hands she started to scream that Im rude. I asked her to leave. This person is extremely unprofessional! The highest unsanitary conditions!!! HORRIBLE!!!
