This location was recommended to me by my sister. She loved the service she received when she brought her vehicle, so I decided to give them a shot. I was far from disappointed. My service tech guy Marcus, was very fun and knowledgeable and he let me know everything that was going on with my car, and gave me some very helpful recommendations for servicing my car, for present and future needs. I will becoming back again to have my other car serviced and worked on only by Mr. Marcus from now on!!!!

Davie has been one of the best people to do business with in my entire life. Hes taken care of all the vehicles. Not once have we had any issues with his parts knowledge and hes always gone the extra mile to take care of us and finding the lowest price. Hes very honest and will always give you his best advice in regards to anything concerning your vehicle. On top of all this, hes just one heck of a guy and I always have a good time talking with him! Purchase a vehicle wasn’t my dream car. I give 5 star to the sales rep. But overall service poor. Only had vehicle for 1 week car cut off transmission was bad, lights came on needed new battery. Due to the fact this was not my fault they had no loaner car “was told due to car shortage and insurance coverage etc.” wanted me to drop vehicle off with no transportation very inconvenient on my time due to the fact I work front line . I’m thankful just to have, but I felt like I was taking advantage of and just place in anything. :’-( very disappointed after hearing all good thing my experience was not. Now I’m stuck with high price vehicle. Waiting for services to be done a week later . And when I asked how long it will be for cars services, was told “I don’t know ”. Driving in fear and putting me and my children at risk.Even when I test drove it I stated “ something is not right why is it shaking and not taking off fast when I press gas. “ Was told its fine that’s just how the truck is made. I work hard for my money and even though the car had 42k with the problems $21,000 should have not have been the price :’-( . Poor customer service in the service department.

LOAN & Extended Warranty REVIEW:They Lie and Manipulate Everyone. I Purchased an Infiniti from this ALM Last May with 50K Miles on It. The Car had its Original Warranty Still and I Also PURCHASED an Extended Warranty to Cover Up to 60K Additional Miles for When My Original Warranty Would Exhaust. They Beg You To Purchase the Extended Warranty in Case Anything Under Your Hood Needs Repair. A Year Later to Now, My Car Now Has Major Engine Issues and Cannot Be Driven, with a Repair Estimate of $9K!!!! I Call EasyCare to Only Find Out That I’m Out of My Extended Warranty Because it Only Covers Up to 60K Miles, But I Purchased the Car at 50K Miles!!! Why Would They Have Me Purchase an Extended Warranty at the Time of Purchasing the Car that Would Only Cover Another 10K Miles!?!?!? An Extended Warranty is Just That, Extended Coverage Beyond the Original Warranty that Came with the Car Brand New, So Why Did They Trick Me into Purchasing It!?!?! I’ve Been Contacting ALM for 2 Weeks Now and NO ONE Has Been Able to Help. I Went into ALM Yesterday, Where No One Took Accountability and No One Cares.So Now I’m Stuck with a Car That Can’t Drive and I Have NO Extended Warranty for the Repairs!!! What Should I Do!?! I Spoke with the Floor Manager Jose, and He Told Me, He Didn’t Have Time for this and That this Situation is Between Myself and the Bank!! The Finance Manager that Did my Deal is NOT Answering Any of My Calls or Texts, and Yesterday I Spent 6 Hours There and No One Helped Me.They Lie to You and Pretend to Have Your Nest Interests at Heart and They Simply Don’t. My Chrysler was in need of new brakes and rotors. I had the pleasure of having the work done by Marcus Bateman. He explained everything in great detail of what needed to be done and what my options were. It was great to have someone who takes pride in what they do and also have the knowledge of their skill as well. He did an awesome job and his customer service was exceptional. He got my vans brakes and rotors back up to safety standards for my family and I. Definitely will be coming back.

Last Saturday my wife and I were on the hunt for a replacement vehicle. A possible candidate showed up on an internet search, so we were off to ALM Kia South. Dennis Neblett rounded up the car for us, patiently went through all the features with us and then went with us on a test drive. Sadly the car had a black interior instead of our preferred tan, along with a couple of other shortcomings, making it a no go for us. Through the whole process, Dennis was a perfect gentleman, and we greatly appreciate his professional assistance.

A number of small issues. However they sold me a car with a bad battery. Had to replace the battery a few months after buying.Spoke with a sales manager who said “It (the battery)was good when we had it”. Like what? How am I supposed to believe that?They barely honor their “free”maintenance without being pushy about other services. It has not been a good experience.I would return it if I could just based on the service. They don’t even answer service call randomly on weekdays.Pricing is decent but you can get similar pricing elsewhere. That’s their plus.

*****POTENTIAL BUYER BEWARE!!! ******They are absolutely distrustful. We had the WORSE experience here.Details:We called over inquiring about their stock. They said the cars we wanted to test drive were available for purchase, and we can come by. When we get there, no one on the floor nor on the lot would help! We basically had to beg the associates to come help us. THEN we overheard one of the associated disparaging another because they were taking too long to make the sale at a high price. THEN when we finally got a sales associate, our sales associate tried his hardest to “find” the keys to the vehicle. He claimed it was being serviced but we can come back and test drive.Talk about DISHONEST! This was the worse place we have ever went to in Georgia. Absolutely garbage. On top of all of this, they were very shady about test driving the cars on the lot. That should have been our first red flag.You are taking a risk with your pockets if you shop here, both with the distrustful and frankly unhelpful staff, and BOGUS pricing system.You have been warned.

I needed to get an oil change, and I wanted to make sure my car had all its fluids and clean air filter, right amount of air in my tires etc. I don’t know much about cars but Marcus Bateman truly went above and beyond with explaining to me what I needed and explaining what grade oil I should have for my vehicle. He was kind, patient, and showed amazing customer service. Being a woman and dealing with cars and dealerships can be scary when you’re alone but he made me feel comfortable and took great car of my car.

I am very un satisfied with ALM KIA SOUTH. I have been a loyal customer since I purchased my car with Kia of Union City and continue my patronage with Kia South when they opened their doors. Whenever it was suggested to have serve to my vehicle I always got it done immediately. I took my car for engine light and they told me it was fix to have it come back on again next day. I took it back and after a week I heard nothing from them. I had to call to see what was going on and they had not looked at my car. Finally they told me I needed a part. I said ok. Another week went by and no word. I wS told the manager would contact me. He never did. I had to call again and the receptionist went to the technician to see what was going on with my car. To tell me it was ready. Id already paid $135 for the first repairs and was told it was an additional $251. I ask to give me credit from 1st service charge and the manager had a very nasty attitude with me and said I had to pay for additional services in full. Sadly I did. I did tell them after years of loyal service I will not do business with them any longer. I will not make any future purchases with ALM KIA SOUTH again. The service department need to be taught customer service.

ALM Kia South used to be my go to place for my vehicle service needs, however, my latest and last experience with them has been horrible.My vehicle had the routine service done the beginning of June, by the 10th of June my vehicle was blowing white smoke and barely moving. We managed to get it back to ALM to only have it sit for 3 months without it even being ;looked at. Calling was useless half the time and when I did speak with some either by phone, or having to actually go the the service center, they always told me that they dont know when Id be looked at, and eventually started having a dont care attitude, especially from Jason, one of the managers. He even told me to call corporate, knowing good and well that they were independently owned.We decided to have the vehicle towed after 3months and 10 days to be exact, to a different dealership, who had my issue resolved in 3 days. It was brought to my attention that at the time of my last service, which was done by ALM Kia South, my oil tank had been overfilled and had spilled in all parts of the engine which cased the problem that I experienced. It was a $750 mistake that I will be looking to get reimbursed for. We will definitely see how that goes. Look out for the next review concerning this!

DONT GO HERE!!!!!! Zero starts should be an option, bought a car on 05/2021 and it has been at the shop more than anything else. They dont honor whats on paper, THEY PROMISED TO LOOK AT THE AIR LEAKING FROM THE SUNROOF, told me everything was fine, just to find out it wasnt. They refused to fix the issue that they never fixed on the first place. Boom Im $594 out the pocket, and lets not talk about the time I wasted coming up there bc the sales rep Armani Lee tried to make it seem like everything was taking care of. The manager in the services department is rude and need to take some customer services classes. So far I done spent around $3k on repairs and parts, and I just bought this car. Another thing, I dont know if they be tweaking the engine light so it wont come one when you purchasing the vehicle but please be carful, I just finished dropping my car off for the 4th time in three months, paying about $35 on lyft every time and did I mention the time wasted....SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE. Take a look at the receipts.

Worst purchaseing experience of my life. I bout my car over a year ago and Im still angry with them. I wish I had walked away. The only reason i didnt was I was having trouble finding the car with the features I wanted else where. The sales person was rude and even raised his voice at me at one point. They tried to get me to leave without a temp tag claiming test drive paperwork was sufficient. They didnt give me an emissions test, so I had to go get my own and the drive back to them another day to pickup a compensation check. I will never ever ever purchase from ALM ever again.

Drove up an hour to test drive a car i was interested in. I told Eugene the salesman that i was interested but would them i would give them a call back to negotiate a price. Funny that the next day the price went from $28,488 to $29,488 on their website. Definitely don’t feel as though i could trust them. Obviously not honest people! Will 100% take my business else where. (Also you can see where i had a screen shot of the listed price at $28,488 and yet all of a sudden they’re even asking for over the typical Kelly blue book price lol)

The service department is completely incompetent. Had my car towed in on Friday morning with keys and all information given to service writer. Went in Monday morning to talk to service people and nobody could locate my car or information. I left to go to work and called twice during the day to confirm they had located my car and information. After second call where they still couldnt locate my car, I had to leave work early to go back to dealership. After walking on their back lot for about 2 minutes I was able to locate my vehicle with the service tag hanging from the mirror. They then told me it would be a least 90 days before they could look at my vehicle.

SERVICE - this review applies only to the service center. Purchased a new KIA Telluride in 2020, made appointment for a 15k mile service. Showed up at scheduled time, vehicle still sitting after 1.5 hours past appointment time. This after being assured my vehicle would be tended to immediately and Id be done in 1.5 hours. Obviously Didnt happen. Wont be returning. One star, because I had to give it one.

This place is a nightmare.I went there today to purchase a vehicle I saw online. I called before heading to the dealership to ensure that the car was still there, available, and the price advertised was the correct price. I spoke with a woman named Brandy who assured me it was on site and the price was accurate. I drove an hour and a half, only to be told the vehicle was never on the lot. They half apologized but did not seem to feel it was that big of an issue. They actually had no vehicles of that model on their property at all.They offered me nothing for their mistake, not even willing to go down in the deposit of $3000 they require to build one. Despite the Athens Kia only requiring $1500. I will never return and will never recommend such a poorly ran dealership.

They sell enough cars to everyone else, why do they need to wait on you? This is the feeling you get shopping here.It was a simple task. I put down 500 dollars, they hold a car for me so I can make an appointment and get it checked out because it had a lot of rust on it (3 year old rav4 hybrid 18K Miles should not have rust like this IN THE ENGINE AREA). It test drove fine enough. I was told by the salesmen not to worry about it, but I wanted to make sure. He told me he would hang on to the keys. The car was sold the day before I was coming for inspection.Sure, could have been a communication error, but this is enough to make sure I wont be doing business with them. Not for the kind of money I was about to spend.Update (9/17): I was also told that I couldnt finance any less than 7k in the state of Ga. That also turned out to be a lie... Whatever you do, dont go hear. Youve worked too hard for your money. Carmax it. Its the 21st century anyway.

The dealership was great until I had signed on the dotted line. “Problems” would be a major understatement. From getting the paperwork in the mail to them fulfilling agreements made at the time of sale to issues with parts for the tire jack. The dealership didn’t even care that I had NO way to remove lug nut covers on my vehicle (which means I couldn’t, in any way, change my own tire). I was basically told I purchased the vehicle “as is” and I should have checked for all those parts prior to purchase. Pathetic!! Who checks for all parts on a tire jack?? Such a different approach from the help and customer service received prior to paperwork being signed. I will never recommend anyone, not even my dog, to use this dealership.

Horrible!!! First of all let me say that I did have an appointment. I dropped my car at my scheduled appointment time on a Thursday for recall and extended warranty work. Daniel, in-service assured me that he would touch base with me throughout the process. Then I waited and waited and waited with no contact from Daniel. When I finally got a hold of Daniel, Tuesday, I was told my car was in the service bay at that time and would be ready Thursday evening. The following two days I made contact with Daniel and planned to pick my vehicle up Thursday evening. Upon arrival to the service department after hours I found my car in the same place it was parked and absolutely nothing had been done to it. All of the extended warranty and recall work that was supposed to be done was not and my car was still not fixed. All of the dash lights that were on when I dropped it off, pertaining to the recalls and extended warranties were still on. Oh, but I did get a bonus and that was an invasion of ants in my car! Personally, I experienced such misleading communication, horrible customer service and a complete waste of time!

Jawon Shaw was superb. He greeted me as soon as I walked in the door with a smile. I didn’t really like the first car I came in to see (Buick Lacrosse Essence), however he dug deep in conversation with me and was to pin point me in the right direction. I ended up leaving with a 2019 Kia Optima that had every feature I was looking for. I highly recommended ALM South Kia because of Jawon. Ask for him by name !!!

Sales was excellent. Service was awful. Scheduled an oil change days ahead of time, and after I had been there an hour, they let me know that they didn’t have an oil filter. They had days to sort that out ahead of time. They didn’t offer to make it right in any way. I live over an hour away from the dealership, so they wasted half of my day. Poor service just cost them a sale. We will buy my wife a car at a different dealership. || Update: The service dept said that they would have a filter within a day or two and would call immediately to reschedule me. Its been a full week, and they have not called. Either oil filters are not available for the Carnival (and so you should not buy one) or the service department has dropped the ball twice in a row.

Ive came to this dealership a couple of times to get my brakes/rotors done and also a major(pass due) tune up. I have a Dodge so I was nervous to bring my truck to this place. The 1st time I came(tune up) a guy by the name of Marcus Bateman(funny guy) made me feel comfortable and explained to me that he was going to take care of my truck. He kept his promise and my truck rode like a champ. I told him I will never go to anybody else except for him. If he ever leave Im coming with him. I cant say much for the dealership but Mr Bateman gets 5 stars from me.

Seller was clearly a new salesman that did not stick to his words. I was quoted one price out the door and then after my credit has been ran 9 times he comes back with a price a few thousand higher than quoted. And I also made him aware that I only wanted my credit ran twice(accepted or declined) he said “ok I can do that.” I was then called about a week later and asked to give a five star rating. I told the lady that I was not going to do that because of the situation that happened. She stated they had forms to get the unnecessary inquiries off of my credit and she would call me back on the following Monday. I never received a follow up call. It was most unprofessional experience I’ve ever been involved in. The manager ended up working the price out with me but besides that it was definitely a bad experience.

Service Department- Getting my 4th annual oil change I gotta say was a complete nightmare. I waited 4 hours and 30 min which seemed outrages estimated wait time. I was also getting a tire mounted which was another 45 min the advisor told me he was backed up. I took that and ran with it, but when you tell me your going to take something off because off the incredibly long wait time and I still paid full price. Yea please help them if your reading this.

Plus 1 star for response time (24 hours). I received a call on day 2 as an escalation to a senior sales associate to buy a $25k advertised vehicle. I offered a drive out of the asking price plus TAVT plus $99 doc fee. However, I rejected their $795 ALM enhanced PDI fee, interior and exterior protection of $995, and customer service pack or $699. The one person I talked to not only rejected my offer but hung up on me when I said I wouldnt consider an increase in my offer. Steer wide and clear of this place. I brought my own financing, and was prepared to pay cash as well. I was respectful with my call and with texts, and wasnt belligerent with texts or calls, and let the sales escalation person that I was not interested in any games.

This dealership has been the worst dealership I’ve encountered so far. I ignored the red flags from the beginning and I wish I hadn’t. Seriously considering just leaving Kia altogether. This particular dealership never follow through on anything. From when I 1st bought my 2020 stinger til now. This would be the 2nd time I’ve made an appointment for a recall within months and they STILL don’t have the part. After calling me and saying that it’s in TWICE! So annoying and frustrating. Y’all really need to look into customer service here because it sucks! I will consider going to another dealership before I make my decision to leave Kia, because maybe it’s just this one spoil apple. But I wouldn’t recommend going hear if you don’t have time and patience to waste.

DO NOT BUY HERE! These clowns sold me a 2018 Escalade that needed $4,000 of work the day I took it home to nashville. The douche of a manager tried to tell me that things break and I should have bought a warranty. Ive had the car 8 days and it needed new tires, new struts and front hubs. NO NOT BUY HERE!

Went in excited to purchase, left very disappointed, found this dealer online looking for a vehicle, called, they said they had the vehicle and to come in. When we arrived, that vehicle was not there, we tried to still move forward, we signed for the vehicle site unseen with the right to decline upon inspection. The service just went downhill from there. Waited with no word or call, we finally called and set a time to come look at the 30,000.00 vehicle, ready to take it home, the carpet in the entire vehicle was not attached, the pieces had been laid but not attached, just matts holding it in place. The second sales person said it was normal for jeeps, and to sign for release, lol..... the manager came out, took a look and said, take it or leave it.....no customer service throughout this whole experience, no genuine care for the customer a fair deal, we might have worked it out, worst car buying experience of my life, left without a vehicle, we were told right up front that they were a volume dealer which basically supported, they dont care and didnt really need to work with us or our business. Very disappointed in such a large dealership, you need to retrain your staff!

Love the vehicle at a good price but unfortunately came with poor service. Sales person was very unresponsive. Was late to meetings and literally took days to respond to text messages if you got a response at all. It shouldn’t take more than a week to figure out how to have a second key made. Still don’t know what my 1 year free maintenance means. Along with other request for information that simply got ignored. Tried to have the salesperson changed but phone call got rerouted back to her 😔

Also nightmare car lot not sure who they cater too, but it was not what I was looking for big mess. I don’t want to put anything that can be seen as out of line but good luck they had lot of Employees but save yourself sometime I got a free coffee but had ants from the sugar jar lol.Also note they will tell you by phone email or text they have car your looking for, but that’s call center that’s just saying that to get you to come in. Drove over 2 hours to test drive a car with full intention of buying on the spot. Spoke to multiple people for the scheduled time to see and drive the car. Upon arrival and apparent investigation by the salesman I was told that the car was in the quality room having inspections done and couldnt be driven for a road test. Ok. So can I see the car? Nope cant even see it. Had they not called me on 3 occasions during my drive in to purchase the car I had no reason to believe the car wasnt ready. Waiting on a response to see if they care and want to do business. I always thought cash was king. Guess here not so much. Was the advertised car just clickbait????🤔🤔

They mark up their Telluride at least 3k. My salesman told me that they did so I called in and ask the lady I spoke to, she said no way we would never do that. I asked to be transferred to the manager. He came to the phone and said hello, I did not even know his name. So I let him, know the situation and everything that had transpired and let him know that my drive out price with a trade in was still 5K over MSRP. He said yes we do mark up our Tellurides 3K and was not even willing to work with me. I feel like that this is a complete rip off and they need to let their customers know up front they mark up their Tellurides and you will pay above sticker price even with a trade in. I went in for an oil change (nothing wrong with my front splitter or front bumper because I just bought it from KLM South and a new undershield I also bought) but when I left the screws was missing along with some clamps. My undershield and splitter was damaged, Chris the service manager has a nasty attitude who would not listen to what I had to say. People watched and heard how he was talking, and I refused to give the same attitude because my problem would definitely not get solved. Before I came I tried calling parts and service several times and couldnt get through so luckily I got through to sales. I left service went to sales to get better assistance which is something I didnt have to do. I guess my problem had gotten to the GM and it had a better out come.

Purchased a carnival here and was told through text by the salesperson the vehicle was ready to pick up, I drove 50 miles to pick up the vehicle only to find out the vehicle will not arrive for 2 more weeks. The dealership would not do anything to make it right and put me in a bind prior to leaving for vacation. This is the most unprofessional dealership I have ever seen.

They should not even have KIA attached to the building if this is a representation of their professionalism.@kiamotors, how can your maintenance techs be certified to work and repair your vehicles when they cant be bothered to verify they replaced the steering wheel correctly.I have never driven a vehicle with this level, and this many critical safety issues!! If I could, I would absolutely give zero stars. This dealership would LOVE to sell you a car that they know has been wrecked and re-stretched. Theyll lie to you about it, show a clean carfax on their website, then have you drive 6 hours away to pick it up and not have a care in the world about it.Luckily, I took the car to a Kia dealership near me that informed me of their lies and is helping me handle this. It will be handled. The car didnt even have a piece of the front bumper on it and the trunk was broken on the inside and TAPED TOGETHER. I would tell my worst enemy to never deal with these people. The roof is now cracking, visible on the outside. Chrome finishes were repainted and are chipping, they look like a cobblestone street.If the dealership reaches out to me to make this right, Ill update my review.

Now that I have your attention with the 5 stars, Id like to state that this business doesnt even deserve a 1 star on this review. My friend and previous coworker tried to purchase a vehicle from ALAM Kia South over this past weekend. He showed proof of the check from the bank, called and confirmed they had the vehicle was ready (after being told to wait previously due to needed repairs) prior to making the 4 HOUR DRIVE only to wait around for a manager to come up and tell him they sold the discussed vehicle an hour before he got there. Im sorry but when he made me aware that he had even sent the sales person a picture of the check for over $24K and told them Im coming from SC only to DRIVE 4 HOURS to waste gas and valuable time (8hrs of your weekend). I felt this should be made aware to the public. They didnt even bother to call him and apologize and save him the rest of the trip! Apparently, these folks cannot be trusted. What a shame that a business cant mistreat people in this way and show little regard for what they cost someone. I will most certainly not do business with them or recommend them to anyone else. Times are hard enough right now... Buying a vehicle shouldnt be so difficult! 0 Stars

Horrible experience with Customer service. I live 1:30 hours away so trying to get firm price and financing before I came to test drive. Corresponded via text for a couple of days off and on. Was told vehicle was 4wd..it wasn’t. Was told black interior..it was tan. Was told they have 33 banks but yet after running my credit I felt interest was too high so first place i tried on my own was 1.5% less…. Felt they only maybe checked a couple places if that. This is a huge purchase!! I texted asking a question today. Was told one second…3 1/2 hours later I asked someone else and was told the first one had been with a customer all day…well first ..let me know…second..I was going to be a Customer. I will take my business elsewhere.
