Victor and his crew are awesome. They got my vehicle ready On very short notice. The following things were done oil change tires rotation one tire had a nail on it they fixed it. They also do military and law enforcement discounts.

Great deal on 4 new tires with installation (617.00) . In and out in 90 minutes. Les Shwab only had 2 tires and quoted 472$. I always tip also because everyone working service jobs deserves it for a good job done!

Update on the text below, today’s date- 9/25/21- came in to my locally trusted Big O for an oil change and a tire rotation on the tires I bought in March. I’ve put 10,300 miles on them. I noticed some odd wear on the inside of the front tires, and had them take a look. The gentlemen, Chris, said that it looks like they have 25,000 miles on them, and that the ‘threads are showing’ on the inside. Considering I only have 10,300 miles on them, I was sure they would take care of me. They did not. They said there was nothing they could do, and I was going to have to buy another two new tires!!! What!!They would give me a break on the price, but couldn’t tell me what the price was going to be. When I asked why they couldn’t replace them, the manager stated that because I didn’t get them aligned when I bought them, that’s it’s not their problem. That they can’t eat that cost, I need to. Again, WHAT!!!!So, after just 5 months of driving, I need to drop another 300$ on tires??? They said there was nothing they could do. Their hands are tied.This is BAD business practice. I bring all three of my vehicles here, and refer others. My experience today is outrageous, and down right wrong.I’m asking the owner contact me, so we can get this situation fixed. Brand new Tires should NOT wear out after only 10K miles. I pulled my car out of there, if they can’t be trusted to do good work, I won’t let them touch my vehicle.Date- March 2021Had to replace all 4 tires on my fiat, so naturally I called around to price shop. I called almost every shop in Ukiah, and priced out buying tires online and having them installed. FYI most places charge 40$ a tire to install.Big O had the second best price in town, off by about 30$. However they could get the tires in next day, and could install them. Other places were booked into next week.Cody there has taken care of my truck for years, and they’ve never done me wrong. They found when putting my tires on that I needed new brakes, and the pads weren’t wearing evenly. They explained what was going on in detail, and gave me a reasonable quote. I appreciated that they took the time to do the inspection, and make sure my car is working correctly. I rely on mechanics to let me know what they see, and the multi point inspections are vital. Not everywhere does that, although they state they do.I trust Big O with my vehicles. A definite stop if your looking for good service, at a fair price, and need tires, visit these guys.

Some of the best customer service Ive ever experienced. Ed made me feel welcome from the beginning and made sure I got a ride back to work. I was quoted 1200$ for a new set a tires at les Schwab where as Big O gave me a new set of tires and a oil change for 875$. After my car I brought my moms car in and they had it done in a hour and half compared to Costco which took 7 hours! All in all best tire center Ive ever been to thanks to Ed and the rest of the crew at Big O

Loved it Cody is a great manager. I recommend people to go to Big O Tires in Ukiah. I had to take a scooter there and Cody was great help. He was able to order me the tires for my grandpas scooter. He had to order them and theyll be put on Monday April 3rd at 2:30. So now that Ive been to the Big OS in Clearlake and Ukiah, they both are great help.. Thanks again Cody you made my Grandpa proud. Now youll see him in Clearlake Oaks on his scooter, so he can get to the Grocery Store and Post Office. Thanks again BIG O team you are always straight forward and dont try to burn customers like some of these other mechanic shops they have around here in the Oaks and Clearlake do. I wont mention any names but they know who they are.. If its not broke dont fix it. Ill only take my vehicles to Big O in Clearlake or in Ukiah. You always tell the truth. I called Saturday to order tires to have put on Wednesday at 10am. Went down there and dropped it off early, they didn’t start em till 10:30 which I get, it was kind of busy! Waited till they were done and left the parking lot to get gas! Noticed that they put the wrong size tires on. Went back and the main guy made it seem like it was my fault that I didn’t know the tires were staggered! I KNEW! And so did the guy who ordered the tires, well I thought he did since I just put new ones on the back 6 months prior! All in all I gave it 2 stars because ED was helpful in rectifying the problem! It comes down to people needing to pay attention! They waisted a lot of my time that day!

Great staff, Ive been using these guys for years... its hard to find honest mechanics; but here youve got a bunch of them all under one roof

Not a single tech was wearing masks during covid-19 restrictions. Counter man wasnt bothering to wear his correctly and many customers werent wearing either. I had to wait today while I had my oil changed, but I wont be back. Very disappointing. The quality of their work might be fine, but this attitude is not.

Fast service, my trailer tire blew out and they fixed ut immediately in 7 to 10 minutes. Very polite and ean like a well oiled machine in a manner of speaking, if you will. Definitely reccomend over Les schwab tire.

I never leave reviews, ever... But I have been to Big O Tires 3 or 4 times in about 2 weeks. Always friendly, great customer service, and great sense of humor. I have had the pleasure of working with Cody, Victor, and Ed at the register. I have not been disappointed yet. They are patient and have answered all questions that I have had. Excellent, well priced service while on a road trip. Repaired a puncture (that another shop wouldnt fix) in 20 minutes despite being very busy.

Big O tires is a great shop for a tire change. I stopped there on my lunch time to get a new tire. Jesse found the tire needed and managed to get me in and out quickly so I could get back to work. He was kind, helpful and professional. The whole staff was very pleasant and they are clearly geared towards customer service. Had an appointment and two hours later my car is still being serviced. Told them I wanted one tire replaced and they had all four off when I came back after work. The guy at the counter was so busy when I dropped it off, he never verified the work I wanted done. Now its costing me valuable time because James was too busy to have a conversation with me. Then they didnt even get the tires back in the same order so instead of having two good ones on the front, like I wanted, the good ones are on the left. They may have good prices but if its gonna be like this maybe Ill just pay more to be listened to somewhere else next time

I changed my two back tires and I had to add air every day in it. I went back and they exchange the valves . Still had to put air every day so I came back unhappy and this time they couldnt find my name in the computer.probably because they spelled my name wrong... They finally accepted to fix it as if they was giving me a favor. Will see if it wont leak this 3th time...I dont recommend that place.

I was happy with my tires in May until I realized If I would have been told to wait till the next Monday I could have had the $1200. Tires I REALLY wanted.. So I only got some $800 unhappiness tiress! Then it didnt Solve the real issue which was a Wheel Bearing issue which Sean wanted to charge me Double at $950 a $460.00 job!!! NOT GOING BACK THERE!! THEY DONT NEED MY BUSINESS AND IM LETTING OTHERS KNOW!!! SORRY..BECAUSE THE OWNER IS A GREAT LADY!!!!

I have had a few thousand dollars in work done on my car here (the life of living in the mountains). They may be frank and sometimes can come across a little gruff, but they have been consummate professionals in their work. I will continue to bring my car here for service while I live up here.

These guys are professional. Ive been in the area for decades, gone to every tire shop around, have had other shops screw up so badly that it was a serious safety concern and Im lucky I didnt get killed (talking about you, Le.Sc.). The guys at Big O might not be the cheapest but I know from experience that they know their stuff and do it right, unlike a lot of the other places. I also do almost all my own work on my vehicles so I know this stuff. One time Cody went out of his way to help me out after another shop massively overtightened my lugs (again L.S., and never again!). Recently Jesse got what I needed done like I wanted and was extra accommodating. When people ask where I go, I always recommend Big O.

Jesse made it work. They were gonna be closing in about an hour and he had no reservation in his voice when I asked if I could get a tire slapped on my Nissan. Very accommodating considering it was the end of the work day. Its more than Walmart would charge but it was faster by far and I didnt have to wonder if the job was done correctly. I had to wait maybe 30-45 minutes, had I went to Walmart I would of had to wait at the very least 3+ hours before my car would have ever been looked at.

We got four new tires from here a few months ago. One of my tires blew out on the freeway so I had my car towed to the store around noon. The first issue was that they said they would call me when the tires were put on that day, but they never did. I was in meetings all day at work, and didnt call to follow up until I realized that they were already closed. Luckily I live close to work so I walked home. After picking up the car the next day, the steering wheel was shaking badly on the freeway. After doing some research, my husband went into the store to tell them the steering wheel was shaky, and asked if the tires were aligned properly, They didnt look at the car, but assured my husband that they aligned the tires. After doing MORE research, I called in and asked if they balanced the tires. The man I talked to paused on the phone and said that the the machine used to balance the tires wasnt working right at the time we got the new tires. So I had to bring in my car again for the tires to be properly balanced. As I left, the man said he wouldnt charge me for balancing the tires, as if he was doing me a favor for something that should have been done correctly the first time. After the tires were properly balanced, the steering wheel stopped shaking. Overall, it was annoying that we had to be the ones to try and figure out what the issue was. Plus, if we had continued driving on those tires, a lot of damage could have occurred. Ive told all my coworkers about this story and to avoid coming here.

I was helped by Cody, and he was extraordinary. We wpuld have been stranded in Ukiah, but he went above and beyond to help us and get us back on the road. He was very knowledgeable about the issue, and I will strongly recommend this place and specifically him to everyone I know with car problems. Cody was an amazing help and an outstanding mechanic, and if he isnt the perfect example of what a mechanic should be, then I dont know who is.

Buying tires while on vacation is never the shopping that you want to do. There were two tire stores in Mendocino, one was closed on Saturday, the other wasnt a place that we could come back to for warrantee repairs. So we drove the 90 minutes on a donut all the way into Ukiah.Happily, James got us 4 new tires installed for about a dollar differece than we bought tires three years ago in town. 45 minutes back into Mendocino, just in time for a walk on the beach and wash up for dinner.Across the street is a sporting goods store. A bit of a walk, but reachable is black oak coffee which has great snacks and lots of comfortable seating.

I have taken a few vehicles here and honesty and professionalism seem to be their approach. They communicate effectively and timely while being thorough to get me all the information I need to make an informed decision. I delt with the Service Writer named James. I highly recomend this young fella. While everyone seemed the same, I delt with James. I have been an automotive repair technician all my life. I was ASE certified in many subjects of repair and this shop while lacking in good parking is the best I have found since I retired from the US Army in 1997

Came here to buy tires but found the worst service ever, Cody Dean did not treat my husband with respect at all, he had a long face at all times and did not take the time to explain anything on the contrary he gave my husband a piece of paper and said, hey here this is your only choice and turned around and left.

I was referred to the Ukiah Big O Tires by an acquaintance. I have found that while the prices can be slightly higher than Les Schuab, The quality of the tires are much greater. I explained that I had 1 mile of gravel road each way on my daily commute from Ukiah to Santa Rosa. The knowledgable staff helped me pick out the longest lasting (and best handling) tires I had ever had for my commuter car. The Les Schuab tires only lasted 6 months on this commute, wile the Big O tires lasted 2 years. The Big O tires only cost me about $16 more per tire, yet lasted 4 times longer. I have always found their service to be excellent. They have always had the vehicles ready when they said they would be. I have found it best to schedule a week ahead for non emergency work as they are often busy, yet they are also very accommodating of drop in work.
