I went and purchased some ink for my printer a week ago. Today I purchased a new printer from Office Max not knowing they are sister company. The young man there at Office Max informed me it would be fine to take the ink cartridges back to Office Depot because the new ink I purchased from Office Depot will not work in the new printer I purchased today from Office Max. He had great customer service. Great customer service is lacking when it comes to the employee by the name Rene when I went to purchase the ink cartridges at Office Max he was the first person I came in contact with and I asked him where to find ink cartridges and he replied their in that direction pointing towards the printing dept. As I was headed in that direction I asked another young man and he took me to the ink cartridges but it was HP I needed Brothers and he lead me to them. I got them and went on to purchase them. That was on the 10 today 17 same week. When I went to return the ink cartridges to the store Renee is the man that told me without the receipt he could not help me he asked did I pay cash or card I said cash but that I wasnt sure so he asked for my visa I supplied him with it he had me to put the chip inside the card machine and I complied. Then he informed me that he didnt see any transactions with my last 4 didgits. I then asked for a manager supervisor someone else that could possibly look to make sure thats when Jameson came over and I went through the same process with him again put my Visa card in the machine and he told me that he didnt see any transactions with my card. That if its been over two weeks he wouldnt be to find in the system. I went all the way back home to search for the receipt although I had the card that I had used for the transaction with me. I found the receipt after stressing about the card, after searching at home I just had major surgery and I was lied to continually about no info being in the system regarding my transaction on the card by both men Jameson and Rene they are lacking a lot when it comes to Good customer service theres no telling how much business Office Max is loosing because of the both of them.
