Okay so I tried to book a appointment at this place right I was tryna get on for a later time around 4 but i ending booking one for 2:20 n I texted Ms Shelly told her I was gonna be a lil late cus I get off at work at a later time but ended telling me imma have to rebook again n it’s gonna be another $25 charge and its not refundable which I don’t understand why 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️ I just paid a $25 deposit for a time I couldn’t do because you didn’t have any 4 o’clock appointments why pay another deposit n I only had enough for the amount that I was supposed to pay get my hair done 😑😑😑 she ain’t willing to adjusting somethings or work out anything and you supposed to be a black own business but be having some ridiculous book appointment times online wat a disgrace 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

I sent my wife here to get single leafs twist and she came back with big box braids and the braids didnt last but a week. My wife called to get a few of her braids put back in and tms. Shelley havent responded or try to help her very unprofessional and I will never come back and dnt care about her customers she had to stop ro for get cigars so she can smoke a blunt horrible

I visited the MaxBerry Salon Boutique today and left highly satisfied. The establishment was A1 and the service was impeccable. Miss Shelly gave me exactly what I asked for and went above and beyond to make sure I liked the finished product. I also purchased some items from her boutique and again very pleased. If you havent been by to see her I would suggest that you do and youll leave satisfied too.

Where to start !!!! Made an appointment for bohemian box braids on her website (which was super easy) a few days before I had an appointment . Everything was great . Love my hair, I have never felt more comfortable at a hair salon and I’ve been in Tyler pretty much my whole life and I’ve been to a lot of them . Shelly and her daughter, are soooo funnny . So talented, she’s a jack of all trades . I love good wholesome, fun energy . The music was jamming . I will definitely be spending more money here . The prices are affordable for EVERYONE. Come and get your hair done here, you won’t be disappointed. Good, genuine, hard working people are hard to come by . God knew what he was doing when he lead me here . I’ve never had so much fun getting my hair braided . Loved it !

I came here for butterfly locs and the ly came out great!! and was treated so well.. I felt like I was sitting right at home, great conversation and she offered me beverages!! I would definitely recommend this Boutique to anyone looking for a one stop shop this is it!!

Ms. Shelly always treats me with respect and civility and does a great job with my hair. I just moved to town and was desperately looking for someone to treat and style my locs and she does an amazing job and im happy I found her.

If I could give 0 stars I would! beyond UNPROFESSIONAL, rude, and gives you the runaround! my hair wasn’t started on time and the communication was terrible. I kept trying to reach her only to get ignored or met with excuses. A whole lot of money wasted 🤦🏽‍♀️ but next time I know not to do business here.

I am giving 1 star because my kids hair actually turned out really nice. I scheduled 2 appointments on Oct 1st starting at 10 a.m. She arrived 45 minutes late. When she did arrive she had to leave to get some towels. She returned at 11 a.m. Then she started on my sons dreads and realized she needed to take a different approach to dread his hair. She asked if I would run to the store to buy some hair gel. I did. That was supposed to be deducted from the $205 I payed for my son and daughters service. It wasnt. It took 3 hours to do his hair. He started crying in the middle of service because of the pain she was causing him. At around 3 p.m she started my daughters hair. I washed her hair before we came and put no product in it but brushed it. I was told at least 20 times throughout the process of her doing my daughters hair how matted it was and that this was my fault because I did not take care of her hair correctly until I finally got upset and had to walk out of the shop while her Dad stayed with her. My daughter was crying and shaking as she used a comb to comb through and part her hair for braids. I told her I normally use conditioner and a brush to do it and then part it and had never caused her that kind of pain. Peoples hair are different and you cant do everyones hair the same. It was supposed to be a great 1st time experience with braids for my daughter. It was a horrible, long and a very unprofessional ordeal that we will never do again! So dissapointing! After we left I was told by my 8 year old daughter that she whispered next to her Yo Mama outside mad cuz she know she made your hair matted! I really could not believe what I was hearing! She also needed to bum several cigarettes from my husband during the 7 hours we were there. What does professionalism consist of these days? Do your research before you take your kids to a hair stylist!

Called to inquire about making an appointment. I could barely hear over the cussing and loud music in the background. Shelly was extremely rude and unprofessional on the phone. There was no need for the ghetto attitude. I will take my business elsewhere.
