Would recommend without reservation. They scheduled me within 2 days of reporting my dishwasher wasnt working. The night before they gave me a two-hour window for the service the next day, then called/texted me 15 minutes out so I missed minimal work. Loved that! Jose was very thorough and knowledgeable (and patient with my kitten trying to climb on him). He diagnosed it timely, gave me options and accurate quotes immediately, then ordered the part as soon as I agreed. They called to schedule a return visit, when the part came in. It was handled equally efficiently - text the night before, call the day of and Jose had that pump installed, the filter cleaned, and all clean-up done in less than an hour. He said I have a one-year warranty on service. VERY impressed and will use them for all of my appliances in the future.
My icemaker had become unreliable. I was happy to be told that Mr. Appliance was again providing service in my area as I had previously worked with this business. I found their service to be prompt, courteous and informative. The service person, Scott Thomas, had previously provided service on an appliance a few years ago. I would definitely recommend this business.

Horrible company. Should have learned after the first time to never call them but I made this mistake again. After waiting 3 plus months for just a power cord (guy who came to the house said 3-5 days) I had enough. Will never do business with this company again and will advise others on the problems we have had with them. They cant even communicate on what the problem was. I had to call them.
It’s been two weeks my washer still not fixed... I have a part on my back porch that the tech brought out here and left because they couldn’t get a bolt out and didn’t have the right tools so now I’m waiting on the right tool and still have a loud washer... I’ve used them before and service was good however this time the ball was dropped!!! Not happy. But I know they still expect me to pay full price for poor quality..

I had an overall good experience with Mr. Appliance. There were fast to diagnose my issue and order the new part. My tech, Olivia, was great - very professional and friendly. My dryer is working great now. However, the fact that their techs won’t come out after 5 as well as not at at all during weekends is a little ridiculous for people working full time during the week. I had to get a family member to drive 2 hours from Dallas to be in my house so that they could come install my part while I was at work.
I was referred to them by my Home Warranty company. They were pretty booked up. However they showed up exactly when they said would. Very professional, would call them again when needed.

They were contracted through our home warranty. They only come out to Nacogdoches on Mon and Fri, which was a little limiting, but they did great work. The tech, Daniel, was very nice, quick, and professional. It took a while for them to get the part that they needed to fix our dishwasher, but they called to let us know how long it would take and called to set up an appointment once they knew when it would arrive - I appreciate the great communication.

We had our lg refrigerator go out after less than 2 years. We called several places only to find out they did not work on Lg refrigerators because they could not do warranty work on LG. Mr appliance was willing to come out and never mentioned if it was warranty related they would be unable to do the work. After being at my home approximately 5 minutes the diagnosis was the compressor would need to be replaced. The repairman let me know they could not cover the repair under warranty and we would need to contact Lg and also took my $99 for coming out to tell me this. I appreciate the other repair shops that didn’t waste my time or money before coming out. Mr appliance however was looking to make a buck and I will never ever use them for anything. The only reason I even give 2 stars is because the repairman that came out was very nice and courteous. I would recommend letting potential customers know up front on the phone what you can and cannot do when it comes to warranty repairs. Enjoy my $99.

The technician, Scott, notified me when he was on his way and arrived at the expected time. He was both professional and friendly. He also took prescribed COVID-19 precautions by wearing a mask and not shaking hands with us. He was able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem with our dishwasher and take our payment. Also as a COVID precaution he signed the ticket for us so we did not have to touch his tablet. We really appreciate his help and his attention to safe procedures.

I had an excellent experience with Mr. Appliance of East Texas and American Home Shield. The gentleman who came to install a replacement stovetop was so professional and kind. He called about twenty minutes in advance to let me know he was on the way which was greatly appreciated. There was a fitment issue with how our counters were made, and he was very transparent about what was going on and explained the options available. The cost was more than reasonable and Im really looking forward to using our new stove!

Patrick was very prompt, courteous and effective. His first attempt at repair was expected to be temporary. We ordered the replacement parts which came same day. Next day the problem was solved. My only setback was that I feel the price was rather high for such a quick fix. But I guess that is how service businesses are run these days. I thought it was nearly double what it should have been if not at least 100 too high.
Very knowledgeable, pleasant and did a great job fixing microwaves and cooling drawers. They are the only certified repair service for our appliances in East Texas and have been very prompt and courteous.
While working and diagnosing the problem with our dishwasher (not cleaning all dishes well) the technician was very efficient and fast. The only issue we had was that it took 5 weeks for one part to come in. Times are tough with the virus issues everyones dealing with, but it seems like you should have multiple suppliers to draw upon to supply parts. In addition the chosen supplier should be held accountable for delivering on an agreed time or failing that the order should go to another supplier. It took way too long to get the part and there was no clear alternatives provided by Mr. Appliance for getting the part faster.However given this one problem, I would recommend Mr. Appliance to others --- along with a recommendation if a part was needed to be ordered that the person get some clarification from Mr. Appliance as to how long they will wait before ordering from another vendor.
Technician was prompt, on time, very friendly and attentive to address the problem, which he determined quickly and explained very well in laymans terms. The part was pulled and sent off for repair/rebuild, then the technician promptly returned with the part, installed and tested it in a very timely manner. Olivia, our technician, was very good, answered all my questions after the fact in a timely manner, and my washer/dryer combo is working great. The only reason for taking away a star was that I got no call when the part hadnt made it in by estimated date to come out and complete job. It was supposed to arrive and she was supposed to be back out to my house on Thursday. I had to call on the following Monday when Id not heard from them.
Absolutely the most professional and quick installation I have ever had. They were on time, clean, and explanatory of what they were doing at all times. They took the time to show me how to operate the new dishwasher and to correct some problems with the old installation from the last one. I cant speak highly enough about the job they did.
EVERYONE was professional and the job was completed with dedication, honesty, and understanding. Top notch! On a scale of 1 to 10, they get a 10++!

I wasnt sure what the underlying problem was. The tech had it figured out in less than a minute and fixed in less than ten, and for a reasonable cost. Very friendly and explained everything fully. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Guy came out to check my dishwasher and had to order parts. Took two weeks for them to come back. After parts were installed it still had issues and he said it needed more parts. We waited about 4 days and called and they had no idea what I was talking about and had to check with the tech who came out and would call me back. Again I waited a couple days and no call back. I called them again and the girl who answered the phone said the ticket was closed and they would not be completing the repair. She said there was nothing they could do for me and hung up on me. Definitely would not recommend
A gas leak on my Viking range was the issue and it should have been repaired on the first visit. Tech thought a new part was required but that was not the case. The only thing required was to tighten a nut on the valve to the gas manifold and the issue was solved.All associated with the repair were nice and professional, but again it should have been repaired on the first visit and a second visit should have not been required.

We have a home owners warranty for two homes. We have had to use them for both homes over the years on several occasions for kitchen appliances and ice maker repairs. The repairman (Mike) is very polite and somewhat knowledgeable, however there is not any support personnel. For example, the truck is never filled with the right repair parts and we NEVER get the office personnel to call us back when they say they will. We have even changed home owner warranty companies in hope of getting another service provider. . . To no avail. Today we received a microwave that has been out for 97 days now because there is no follow up on their part. Said they sent info to HOW when HOW says otherwise. Call for status and they say theyll call back but never do. Avoid them if possible.

I normally do not write reviews however, this time I feel compelled to write one. I have a home warranty FIDELITY Home Warranty, I called them on 2/28 that our refrigerator was not cooling. They contacted Mr. Appliance for a service call. They came the following week 03/05 to check it out. I was told that it needed 4 parts and they were going to order them. I had to call Mr. Appliance in order to get an update regarding the parts, because Mr. Appliance never called me. I was told that only 3 parts had been obtained and the 4th could not be found. I asked if FIDELITY had been notified and they said no.I called FIDELITY and told them and they in turn contacted Mr. Appliance in order to get the information about the 4th part. FIDELITY was able to obtain the part. After several calls to Mr. Appliance and being told that first they had the parts and then no they didnt, the technician finally came on 03/21. He installed the parts but the new compressor would not turn on. He thought it was probably defective and had to order another one and a new mother board. Items ordered and came on 04/12 and installed the new parts and again the compressor did not work. I called Fidelity on 04/15 and finally they agreed to cash us out.I have to say that I will never call Mr. Appliance for the following reasons 1. They never call you to give updates about parts, or appointments. 2. Very hard to get in touch with them. 3. If you leave messages they dont return calls. 4. They notify you that technician will be there in the am and do not show up until after 3PM. 5.Unable to get the appliance fixed after ordering numerous parts.
ZERO Stars: Making the appointment for Morning service call was nice, BUT come appointed day. No-One bothered to contact us. Late morning I called their office number but got no answer and their voice-mailbox was full. In early afternoon, I called again and did speak with someone, who told me they would text their technician and have him call me. We Verified My telephone number for the tech to call. No call. 2 Hours later, I again called their office. No answer, But their voice-mail was [seemingly] working then. A [home-appliance insurance Representative] then called their office, who told the rep that this company tried to contact me earlier, and now their technician was ill, so no service call today. My phone has No instance of them calling me. Very UNHAPPY, DISAPPOINTED that my whole day was spent Waiting and No contact by them. They have been REMOVED FROM any further consideration for further work at my house.
Mr. Appliance came to my home and exceeded my expectations! The gentleman who fixed my washing machine was very kind and professional. He had never seen the issue my washing machine was having (because of its newer model) so instead of trying to fix it the way he thought how- he admitted he needed to do a little research and return. I was so appreciative. They are also extremely affordable! I would give them ten stars!

Has been a horrible experience... scheduled the in house technician and he quickly let me know that it was going to be a costly fix. $325 dollars to repair my washer... the $89 evaluation was waived and they needed half of the payment up front. I did pay. Now 3 weeks later I have not heard about parts, when they are planning to schedule the repair, I called a week ago and they said the person that handles that is no longer with them. I call now and no one answers. Worst experience ever. I’m sure they will read this and I want them to.3 WEEKS WITHOUT A WASHER.I’m running out of clothes Mr. Appliance.

I never write reviews but people need to know about Mr. Appliance. Read the reviews before you use this company. It has been 2 months and my dishwasher is still not repaired. It took 6 week to get it repaired the first time and it is still not repaired. I have a 5 year warranty that I bought through Best Buy and they chose this company to use for our repairs. If this happens to you say please do not use Mr Appliance. Every time you schedule an appointment with Mr Appliance they are in no hurry to get you in and schedule you a week out. Then one time said I was never scheduled and still put me another week out. There are 5 of us in our house and wading dishes for 2 months is a nightmare. There is no since in it taking this long to repair something you have a warrant on that should work. I will never recommend Mr Appliance to anyone and just like some of the other reviews I read I agree that they do not care weather you have a working Appliance or not. The impression I get is its not their problem.
Our refrigerator quit on a late Friday afternoon. I set up and online appointment through the Mr. Appliance of East Texas website which links to their corporate site, for Monday Morning. I received a confirmation email saying they would arrive between 8:00 and Noon on Monday. When nobody showed up I called and was told they had never assigned or dispatched anybody, but would try and schedule someone to come out. I told them to cancel their scheduled listing for me and Id find someone else. Not only had wasted my time and effort -- but Im now several more days away from a solution.
My experience is similar to other reviewers here. I had a new dishwasher that failed to work right out of the box, and GE is contracted with Mr. Appliance to provide service to ETX customers. I think their greatest area of improvement is communication. I had to call them for updates, and the 4-6 day promise turned into 4-6 weeks. But, they are courteous and eventually fixed my dishwasher, so Im happy now.

HORRIBLE COMPANY!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Ladies who answer phone are very rude and unprofessional. They never call back. They lie in their advertising they say they will have booties to put on but I had to provide the technician booties we have an request he put them on myself. Its been almost 3 weeks since technician came to house and said he would order the part that day which he did not. I called to see why no one had reached out to us in almost 3 weeks an the rude lady said oh my system is crashed let me call you back, I called back 15 min later another clueless lady answered an said the system was fine an she dont know why the other lady didnt call me back. Then she said they just got the part ordered a few days ago so the technician DID NOT ORDER WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD. I recommend to anyone they find ANY OTHER appliance repair service because MR Appliance is very rude an extremely UNPROFESSIONAL. They exude INCOMPETENCE at every turn. The worst service I have ever had. They charged me a arm and leg to tell me they cant fix electrical issues with dryers. Which truly wasnt evidence base. They only have on the job training zero based skilled training.
Made an appointment on Tuesday for Friday. As the day wore on called to confirm. Office staff failed to confirm but said they would call back asap and never did. Called back an hour later and was told they could not get in touch with the tech and would need to reschedule for next week. Found another company to come out same day. Technician called afterwards to say he was on his way...informed him of difficulties confirming appointment and his reply was that if I was going to be like that hes glad someone else was coming. Not sure if he was referring to expecting follow through on a return call, expecting office staff to know how to confirm appointments or expecting professional decency when I had to find another tech due to the companys lack of competence but yeah, Im like that🤷 0 stars for customer service and professionalism. As to whether they can actually repair anything...?
Both mother boards on our oven were fried during a electrical surge. We had a difficult time finding one of the mother boards in stock. Andrew the master tech went well beyond the normal service to work with the manufacturer to get the part that was no longer being made and had it shipped directly to my home within 24 hrs. Andrew impressed me as a skilled professional, and an honest, ethical and earnest person. I would recommend them to anyone.
