I have been a customer since 2008 (13 years). Everyone is alway very professional & helpful. Most of my contact is by phone & I am always very pleased with the help I receive.I also use the online option to make my loan payments. Once I got used to it, it is OK.Best Regards,Jo Ann Mesker

Texas Farm Credit has been a pleasure to work with on multiple land purchases, and Kyle Watts and team in Tyler are professional and detailed. They have cared about helping me and my family secure the properties in a timely fashion with great service and competitive lending rates. We were given great advice through the process to purchase different pieces of land that added a lot of value. We look forward to using their resources and expertise in the future!

Texas Farm Credit is a like a breath of fresh air for todays corporate world. The people there are so easy to talk to and are very knowledgeable in their field. You can tell they will do anything to make a buyers dream come true, and if they cant do it, they will forward you on to someone who hopefully can. Even though it says farm credit in their name, you do not have to be a farmer. LOL - They lend money for land and ranch purchases, as well as can do home loans like any other bank at the same or better rates! I love Texas Farm Credit. I love that they are a faith based company, letting those morals guide their business decisions. Give them a call, I highly doubt youll be disappointed.

Horrible experience! Stay away, far away. They used Quicken for our loan. The motto should be: Quicken is NOT quick, nothing is ever our fault, and we will over promise and way under deliver. The first house we had a contract on was delayed because the appraisal was late. Because of the delay, the seller backed out, so we lost that property. The second property was delayed in closing because of problems in the final review process. We almost lost this property, as well. The lender blamed everyone else for the delays. We finally called some one in the admin office and she got things moving. Then, the lender blamed Quicken, so we contacted Quicken and they said it was Farm Credit holding up the process. On the day of closing, the paperwork was wrong from Farm Credit, even though I told a them several times the figures were not correct. We now have to pay $2900 for the survey after closing. The reaction from Farm Credit was: “Oops, we messed up, but so did the title company.” And we still had to pay the $2900.Closing was 10 days late. Everyone involved felt this transaction was very poorly handled by Farm Credit. We put over 60% down and our credit scores were over 700. This should have been an easy transaction. We have bought over 10 properties. This was, by far, the worst experience EVER with a lender. We are highly disappointed and have warned everyone not to use Farm Credit. The title company and real estate company are also unhappy with their service. We will not do business with Farm Credit again.

The rates are affordable yet youve increase credit restrictions making loans impossible for many who have the funds and ability to service debt.
