I have been going to Summit Dental for years now. Both of my children also go there. They are kind, caring, friendly, and professional. They truly care about you as a person. Every encounter, from receptionist, to hygienist, to the dentists, has been absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere is also very welcoming and comforting! I have been going to Summit Dental Care for about ten years. They are all very friendly and Dr. Barfuss came in on a weekend to fix a front tooth I had broken off. He had to do an implant later in the week. It looks so natural that no one even knows that isn’t my own tooth! Great job as always!

I am a 50 year old female and have always taken great care of my teeth and have no issues with dentists. That said, I have clenched my teeth and had braces twice and have some dental issues outside of my control. I recently moved to the area and had a coworker recommend Summit Dental care. I am incredibly impressed with how genuinely happy and knowledgeable everyone is. My initial exam was, by far, the most thorough and comprehensive dental exam I have ever had and was followed by an appointment to discuss any concerns my dentist had and to discuss my dental concerns and goals in a consultation setting vs while sitting in exam chair. After these discussions, I was given an estimate of the costs for everything discussed and then set up a treatment plan based on my time and budget. I have received three crowns, including a front tooth, and could not be happier with the process or results. They have state of the art equipment and exemplary Doctors and staff. INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE, EXCEPTIONAL RESULTS! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

My daughter had a tooth removed. The dentist and staff at Summit are always so good with her, and made sure she was as comfortable as possible. They were able to get her in the next day! She was very nervous about it, but now says “it wasn’t so bad”.

We recently moved to the area and found this dental office. The staff is very friendly and personable, always creating a pleasant atmosphere and experience. Last week, I got two dental implants. I was very nervous going into it, but the process was not as bad as expected. I had almost no pain post op. I really appreciate how Dr. Permann has called after each procedural visit to check in on how we’re doing. I highly recommend this dental office!

I was very impressed with everyone. The front desk staff was very courteous and very helpful. The dental assistant made me feel like I was the most important person in the building. The dentist was not rushed during the exam. He checked every inch of my mouth and included me in the conversation. They really listened to what I needed. I recommend them for any level of dentistry you need. I drove 2 1/2 hours each way to see them and I would do it again.

They even took care of some of my issues during the same visit of my exam. Dr. Permann was the one that pulled a few teeth and he called me later that evening to check on me and see how I was doing. Im absolutely in awe of the experience this dental office has given me. The cost of the procedure was cheaper than I had expected also. I will definitely continue my future dental needs at Summit!

Excellent care! My temporary crown came out while visiting Idaho from Illinois. Summit accepted me right in with an immediate appointment. They were unable to use the original temporary crown, so they made a new one, much better than the previous. When it was finished, the price ended up lower than the quote. I would definitely recommend Summit to anyone, even a visitor to the Twin Falls area. I couldnt be more pleased.

Miranda was absolutely fantastic. Been taking our children here for a while and getting to know her and feeling so at home while at the dentist is wonderful!! Dr. Barfus is also great. I walked into my appointment today and told my hygienist “I actually hate the dentist”. But boy, these people were so welcoming, thorough, friendly, and professional. Miranda was the most personable, kind, and patient hygienist I’ve ever had and Dr. Permann was knowledgeable and concise. They both took the time to address my concerns but didn’t try to add anything I didn’t truly need on to my appointment. I think it’s safe to say I don’t hate the dentist anymore.

A very professional staff. My dental hygienist Shelly is exceptionally good at her job and she is very kind and funny. My dentist Dr. Permann is beyond amazing along with his assistant Kiara, who is also so kind. They are very upbeat, fun and still professional. Willing to answer any questions that you may have. Willing to go that extra mile to assure you are comfortable and pain free while performing your dental services. Dr. Permann personally calls you to follow up with you after your procedure to see how you are feeling and if you have any questions or concerns. I drive from Idaho Falls to Twin Falls simply because this group of professionals are well worth the drive.

Excellent experience! First off, one should be fully aware of one simple fact when it comes to me. And that is, that I truly suffer from what is called White Coat Syndrome. Yep, I am a very very extremely nervous patient in all regards, and with good reason. So of course I prenotify any and all medical people of this. Especially when Ive never been there.This was my first visit to Summit Dental in Twin Falls.Right away I let the dentists assistance know this.With me? Its a matter of front end trust. If I dont feel that right away, its a DO NOT TOUCH ME situation that I am very serious about.My dental assistance make was Taylor. Instantly, she was like being amidst and old trusted friend and battle buddy. Calm, cool, collected and just crazy sweet spirited. Dr Permann was the dentist. Stellar professional with great chair side manners and super easy to talk to. Maybe this is a big stride towards shedding this misery of White Coat Syndrome that I suffer.Cant say enough good about these people. Go here or go nowhere.

I was very impressed with the fact that they took my temperature when I came in and everyone that was close to me wore a mask and gloves. Summit Dental Care is totally awesome!! They went out of their way to take care of me in an emergency situation on their day off and the weekend! I had a procedure done for a root canal. I developed a lot of swelling and pain like Ive never experienced before! When I called the Dr. who did the procedure he had a family emergency and wasnt available. I called Summit Dental(my regular denist office) they came to my rescue!! Im so grateful to them for helping me out the way they did!! I would recommend them to everyone!!

I grew up around the twin falls area,I had an extraction done by Bryce Barfuss several years ago, he was a very condescending rude person, when he began the extraction I made it very clear that I wasnt numb, he didnt care and proceeded pulling the tooth regardless. It was the worst dental experience I ever had. I would encourage others to avoid dealing with him as a dentist and find ANYONE else.

I have been using Summit Dental Care for several years now. Out of the many Dentists I have frequented in the past NONE has left me feeling like youve been treated by a friend. From the friendly office staff and the wonderful dental hygienists to both of the caring Dentists, you are definitely treated as a friend. Even with this pandemic that we are working through the staff are doing whatever they can to help minimize any risk for everyone. I am still surprised to get a follow up call from Dr. Permann after a procedure to make sure there was nothing wrong or uncomfortable after the numbness wears off. They show that they really care, and I appreciate that! Thanks guys for all that you do.

Im not a long term client of Summit Dental. Ive been there once 2 years ago. I had some major life complications preventing me from going to the dentist like I should. When I was finally able to go back they were very kind & understanding of my situation. They honestly believe in doing whats best for their patients even if it means taking a cut in their profits. The entire office went out of their way to put a smile on my face. Getting my teeth where the need to be is going to be very expensive but with Summits generosity & genuine caring I will be able to get everything done. Highly recommend Summit Dental.

They are ready for an extensive variety of options regarding your dental needs. I have not ever experienced this quality of service in any office, usually you get great staff and adequate dental care, or you get great dental care and not great staff service.
