Great staff and service. Made getting a passport quick and easy. Super friendly and I wish all my mail came thru here. Shout to Greg and probably the best set of sideburns in the USPS.

Not sure of all the bad reviews, every time I come in to drop off a package there is no wait and everyone is super friendly. I will comment on the marking address as vacant since I was unaware of this as well. It took a simple phone call (a visit would do too) to the post office and tell them your name. They gave my information to my carrier and immediately next day I got all my mail and package that was held at the post office. It couldnt have been more easy. Someone else mentioned loosing a package...umm sorry to break it to you but this happens all the time to UPS and FedEx too. Nobody is perfect.

I like this place. The attendants are courteous and friendly enough to make you feel comfortable and confident knowing your parcels are put into good hands for transport.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Post office listed my house as vacant and did not deliver my package. They left no notice like their website says they do, and instead of holding it for 10 days like their website says they do, they returned it to sender the next day. It cost me $100 to reship it, and when I asked the clerk about having to pay it, instead of them offering a solution they told me to ask the shipper if they would give me a break because the post office screwed up. This post office is terrible.

If I could give zero star I would. They lost an expensive package and refused to take ownership of mistake. If they apologized and admitted to their mistakes I would not be making this review. But they stick into avoiding responsibility. I know they dropped the package off on the wrong place because as soon as the packaged arrived I tracked it and it gave me a notification that the package has been delivered. So I told my sister who was supposed to receive the package to wait outside and wait by the door for it. The package never came to her. Meaning the mailman dropped it off to the wrong house. We wanted to know which house they dropped it off but they refused to show proof that they dropped it off in the right house meaning they didn’t drop it off in the right house. They keep claiming that the mailman did his/her job right and refusing to apologize. Horrible horrible Postal Service ever.Update: just reading through the comments and found that they are stealing other peoples packages. It seems like either they dropped off our package at the wrong house and refused responsibility of mistake or mailman stole our package which is a crime.

I1m losing too many things.. talk to someone in charge she starts screaming at you. They are always losing my expensive stuff. Dont no if its the delivery guys or the post office. But all around bad service. They dont treat your mail as federal property. . half of the workers are crooks. Call in the FBI

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Needed to get a key as the last owners lost it. However no matter what paperwork I showed to them indicating I was the owner of the house I needed something else. Only one person can change the lock on a Saturday with no guaranteed time it’ll be done that week or next you also can have your mail taken out either. The lady was unhelpful at all.

The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. Theyve helped me many times and got me to sign up for the USPS direct information.

Overall, the 29 Palms Branch is pretty Great, its just Sometimes they still deliver important mail of mine to my old address after 21/2 years at the new address? Puzzles me. I also realize that mistakes happen, and they are not Perfect, as none of us are. So my 29 Palms, CA branch is Great🤗

Door handle is the cleanest its been in years! Floors are always clean! Mail gets stuffed into the po boxes.

Keep putting other peoples mail in my mail box & PO box! You cant be serious..a home addressed package being put in a PO Box!? Workers are slobs!!

As always, the service at this post office is great. I dont get mail at my house and due to people stealing mail at the highway boxes about two miles from my house I have to forward mail that has my home address on it, and this post office has been very good about forwarding even though there may not be a forward sticker on it. In other words they know you after awhile and do their business accordingly.

I have been here a few times my experiences were not all that great but were not horrible either. I see many others have had many bad experiences. Fortunately for me they were not too bad I can see how they can seem rude because they kind of wear with me but not to the point that it bothered me too much. What really sucks though about this place is they close at 5 p.m. during the weekday. And 2 p.m. on Saturday. the place that I am from I am used to the post office be open to 9 p.m. and open to 7 p.m. on Saturday.

Other than being on the base this is I believe the only post office in Twentynine Palms. Of course I could be at the station.The customer service from some of the people seems to be all right for others not so much. Overall I would give this place a three star as sometimes and you get good customer service and sometimes or not but what other choice do you have when you have to go to the post office.

Although there is usually a wait at the counter, the staff are always helpful. I also have my PO box there.

Carley is a thief and marks packages as delivered when they really aren’t with witnesses to say she never even got out of the truck. The office supervisor isn’t any better. We have complained about this women multiple time for various things and they always say we have to go off what she tells us. If at all possible don’t have your stuff delivered by this thief.

It would be nice if you guys got a new mail man that would STOP PUTTING MY MAIL IN MY NEIGHBORS. But instead hes in a rush and every day and puts both mail in one box .THEY ARE CLEARLY LABELED WHOS ADDRESS AND HOUSE IS WHOS. TELL YOUR MAIL MAN DO HIS JOB CORRECTLY OR FIRE HIM AND HIRE someone that actually wants to do their job. I dont appecappre my neighbors knowing everything thats personal to me . DO YOUR JOB OR QUIT.

Bunch of mail thieving crooks that will mark your tracked packaged delivered to mailbox/residence...but theres nothing out there. Just an unlucky roll of the dice that my package had to go through this facility given its history, wish it ended up on base instead but what a shame Im left with.

Marked my package as delivered and swore they put it at my door. However, I had video showing no one ever delivered my package. Then all of a sudden they have my package and said they must have delivered to the wrong address, but was package was OPENED AND RESEALED. And the person at the address of which they claimed to delivered mine said they never received anything!!

I just called the lady at the post office to see if I can pick up my package because it was delivered there. I told her Ill be at work tomorrow when it will be delivered. She said I had to wait like everyone else. So rude!

Had packages that would say delivered on the tracking yet nothing was delivered. I went to the office and complaint and suddenly they found my package. Poor customer service.

They delivered a package of mine to someone else and when I called to try and report it they had a stupid automatic machine that kept picking up on the wrong thing and their wait time to speak with an agent was ALWAYS super long at less an hour no one ever came to the phone so I had to give up on them and call the place where I order from and was on the phone for less then five mins.

Very rude lady! Actually hung up on me when I asked to speak to her supervisor.

If you dont like the post office go to another one. Post office dont care what you think. Umm duh its a government building where there dont thrive for customer service. Like the DMV they dont give a flying f***.
