The new owners fired my familys favorite stylist, Kaitlyn, because she continued to cut hair during the lockdown. They said that the people she cut and styled outside of the shop were still company property. I wont support a business thats views their clients in this way and takes away the livelihood of a talented young woman who was just keeping food on her table during a rough time in our country. I heard she is now at a place called Floyds in the area and i will be following our favorite stylist there instead.

Im letting my hair grow out and wanted a little cut off. Kandy cut my hair and was very good. She did a layered cut. She cut a lot off, but it didnt look like much was cut. I liked this since Im going for the longer look. Ill definitely look her up on my next visit.

Usually my young son has a good experience at Sport Clips Tustin and I’d give 10 ⭐️ Stars if I could. He previously got his haircuts on the weekend and the girls are wonderful with him.The haircut yesterday (Wednesday evening), ultimately turned out nice. But my son was very uncomfortable the whole time. I wasn’t aware at the time, but my son had a bad experience with the guy who cut his hair in the past. This time, the paper was too tight around his neck, my son sneezed and I thought he’d be offered something to wipe his nose, (since he had a smock covering his arms and hands.) I finally asked if there was a tissue I could get my son. I was directed to the bathroom and got some toilet paper. My son had hair in his mouth and wanted to use his hand to remove the hair. He was told to sit back and sit still. So my son complied while holding pieces of hair in his mouth.Then the guy forgot that we wanted a shampoo and styled his hair with gel. He walked off to the register without saying anything else. We sat and waited. A few minutes later we told another employee that we were waiting to get a wash, (hot towel massage etc...) When he returned I asked him if he forgot that he had asked if we wanted my son’s hair washed and we said yes. He said he thought I’d say something about the hair wash when he asked me if I wanted gel in my son’s hair. (I thought he styled the hair to check his haircut before washing). Anyhow, my son got water in his ears and water ran all down his back leaving his shirt wet.The haircut looked good and I wasn’t going to say anything about it. I even gave the guy a $6 tip on the $19 haircut.I know everyone can have an off day and I’m not trying to get anyone in trouble.I was just going to make sure we never got a haircut with this guy again. But I got an email from the owner directing me to this page. So I figured he’d want to know.

My son has a simple cut. Usually, the cut is perfect based on the notes in his profile from previous cuts, this time the front was a bit too short and harder for him to spike it up the way he likes. But all in all always a quick and easy experience.

Walked in at 9 am. 1st time at a sports clips. The stylists were peppy and happy to greet me. Haircut and beard trim made me look professional and ready for my interview. Didnt get the job, but damn I look good.

I have long hair and love to curl it. She made it look so much better layered. I was able to go home and unload my groceries. I received text to let me know I was up in 10 minutes. My hair looks better then if I would have spent $100s. Great place for the entire family...

The girl that helped me was pushy and rude. she wanted me to sign in, and when i said i just wanted a touchup and didnt want to sign in for a touchup, she rolled her eyes at me. then, she wanted to put me into their system by asking for my full name and address and again explained, i just wanted a touch up and didnt understand why they needed all this information. after her again trying to get me in, i had to explain i wasnt giving her personal information just to cut my hair for 3 minuets once every few months. she again rolled her eyes and almost begrudgingly sat me down. we made small talk as she cut my hair and everything seemed fine until i got home and my wife looked at how poorly she cut my hair and laughed that someone could mess it up so bad. i dont need a nice haircut, i sit in a cubicle all day. but if you do need to present yourself for your job, id recommend trying somewhere else. i only gave it them 2 stars cuz they offer free touchups, which i still tipped for, i guess i should have looked at my hair before i left, i didnt expect this professional to do such a poor job.

Amy was a rockstar. Personable, meticulous, caring, professional. You could absolutely tell she took pride in her work and wanted me (the customer) to walk away satisfied. Will definitely go back to her in the future.

I am not new to Sportclips, and have been getting my hair done at 2 of the San Diego locations near my residence for 2 years. I found myself in Orange county and in need of a VIP cut. So, I visited this location. Of all the experiences Ive had, this was the best..Your staff was great, attentive and very accommodating. They particularly were attentive to those customers who came in and found out they had a long wait time. Again, very good staff and I highly recommend this location ...

Its our first time coming to Sport Clips. We were given a friendly greeting when we arrived. Kaitlyn cut my sons hair for the first time. She listened to our requests, generously spent time answering my questions about his hair, and skillfully gave him a picture ready haircut. I couldnt have asked for a better experience!

Love this place! Friendly staff, great service, love the MVP! They even keep a record of what they did, so next time the next stylist can pull your notes and do the same thing. And dont forget online check-in, so you can check-in from home, and be put in the queue, so if its a long wait you can run an errand before its your turn.

1st time at this location I brought my son for haircut. Really good cut for my son with Nichole, she also gave helpful advise about the hair gels. Overall better experience here than at the other locations we tried. I plan to come back here every time my son needs haircut.

We have been going there for years and Caitlyn is fabulous. My boys are swimmers and two of them have scalp issues which she has given me advice with over the years on products to use to help their psoriasis. Its like walking into our own home when we go. My older son is is Sea Cadets and has to have his hair cut at certain regulations for different events and she always knows what to do for him. She has watched my boys grow over the years and I just shared with her that my oldest is enlisting in the Navy and because she has know us she said no surprise. Just like family ❤️

They said everybody knows how to do a usmc medium regulation... they dont. I left with a bad haircut, looking like a goof. It tells me they dont know how to cut hair. Would not recommend.

I have had a lot of issues with other places messing up my haircut, but I have never had a problem here. This place gets pretty busy, especially around peak times such as Friday afternoon. But its always worth the wait to have it done right. They even take notes on how your hair is cut to get it right the next time. This is my new go-to place.

A meticulous hair stylist gave me a nice hair cut with minimal instruction.

I normally dont have a bad experience with sports clips but this one was different. Im not sure what her name was because she didnt introduce herself at the beginning. I told her to cut a soft part in the beginning to ensure it looks natural and instead she cut it completely too thick and uneven in width size along my head, to the point where long hairs that were intentionally left long, were being cut off. I asked for a line up for the small hairs that grew there previously, and she went way too far back. The fade itself was decent, but the lineup and side part will take me months to grow back to its original length. She was the older caucasian woman with glasses. Not sure if shes new but she needed to ask another barber for pointers on how to start with my hair due to my previous sports clips barber not putting new notes in the system (that cosmetologist didnt need notes and my hair turned out great).

Terrible system for online check in. I did the online check in, and was told the wait for my choice of stylist was 7 minutes, about the time it would take to drive up there. I shot up the freeway and made it in 9 minutes, rushed inside and the girls had already sat someone in my chair - so the online check in method is bull****. Sport Gyps offers NO appointments. HATE their system.

First off, the hair stylist smelled of cigarettes which doesn’t seem professional and appealing to me. She was acting like she was in a hurry with my haircut although I was the only person there. The package I purchased said “neck and shoulder massage”, I didn’t receive that, only a head rub with my hair washing. My side burns were not equal length on each side but overall the haircut was okay. Not worth the $28 (including tip).
