Been here around 5 times to get my hair cut; Every single time I had an appointment set. Came here the first time mainly because they are open late. I kept coming because my barber did a pretty good job and was a nice guy.But They are EXTREMELY UNORGANIZED!!! If you make an appointment at 4PM, don’t expect to be seated until 4:45. If you make any appointment at 5PM, don’t expect to be seated until 6PM….They never failed to make me wait an extra 40 min for an appointment for had scheduled 7 days ahead of time….Currently searching for a new barber location. Really wanted to be a regular here but I actually value my time.

Outstanding work. Ive been to many barbers and this is the first one where am satisfied with their work.

I go to the Amigos about every other week when I can to get my haircut. The staff here is friendly and they know how to cut hair. I recommend this place.

Dont mind the haircuts but a guy named junior just puts hair product and cant see the end result and doesnt even ask if I want product.

Some useful info: Today, February 20th 2021, there are 591 people hospitalized in OC, there were 391 new positive COVID19 cases, and 44 people have reportedly died of COVID19 JUST TODAY. Keep that info in the back of your mind, if you will. I came here for the first-time last year and had an above average experience. I had been getting home-cuts through COVID and today I decided to finally get a professional haircut; I went back to Amigos to find out that I should have gone elsewhere. There were three barbers in the shop. One had a mask under his nose, the other under his upper lip (really? who does that?), and an elder barber who was eating a paleta. While the customers waiting were wearing a mask, none of the customers getting a haircut were wearing one. I had an appointment with a barber named Junior and was told that Junior would be right out, as he was in the break room. Junior came out of the breakroom without a mask and signaled for me to get in the chair. When I asked him if he could put on a mask, and explained that I had a medical condition, Junior said, if youre scared, stay home homie, stop spreading fear. I asked yeah? thinking he was joking, but he said yeah. Not being in the mood to school deliberately ignorant people, I walked out in disbelief. However, I am writing this review so people who expect sanitary, and professional service from a barbershop can make an informed decision, before wasting their time and energy like I did. This is not spreading fear, its spreading information. Do with it what you will.⚠️ Update. Today on Feb. 22, 2021 I was contacted by Hugo, owner of Amigos Barbershop. Hugo apologized on behalf of his employee, and seemed very personable, understading and sincere in his apology; he even attempted to rectify the issue personally, and gave me his number. Ive seen how difficult it is to keep a business afloat these days and through this pandemic. Hugos gesture goes a long way in my book, and Im a believer in second chances, perhaps I will go back for a haircut once this COVID 19 craze calms down a bit.

Normally when I move to a new city, I have to try 3-4 barbershops before I find the one. Amigos barbershop was the first shop I tried, and I was blown away. Hugo gives me a clean cut every time. He takes pride in his work and it shows

Best Barbershop in the Tustin area! Hugo is seriously the best at fades and has awesome customer service! All his barbers do an excellent job! If there is ever a time you dont like anything Hugo will work with you to resolve any issues.

Schedule an online appointment for 3 in the afternoon... 3:40 I left cuz he was still cut somebody elses hair whats the point of scheduling an hour so I couldnt tell you how good they were I walked out took my business elsewhere...

I walked in asked for a cut but only the appointment taking barber was there so i sat there and the barber sat there for about 20 min. When the Barber arrived at 10:30 i was taking a phone call and the owner said if you cant hang up the call we need to skip you. So i hung up the call. I let the barber know i wanted a taper with just the scissors on top. I ask about pricing. My first question was how much is a beard trim. The owner told me it was $10 more for a razor cut. I let him know i shave on my own but i wanted to try it out and that i was only interested in the beard cut that was advertised on their wall. The barber who was cutting my hair then made the comment You are like another customer that comes here and wants everything free. My first thought was wow this is how you speak of other customers, ok. My second was how can i allow an irresponsible person who cant even show up on time call me cheap. I work two jobs and have only have one day off to support my family and this guy is gonna call me broke. The owner then intervened in the conversation stating that in 7 months that the establishment has been open no one has complained about the prices. I thought he woukd reprimand his employee but instead made me feel belittled in front of everyone. I let the barber finish. He did a terrible job. Maybe on purpose maybe not. I paid the establishment for my cut with a 20 and almost walked out since i tend to always tip anyone in the service industry but this particular time i waites on my change. Fake reviess would get you 5 stars. Ignorant people can too. Dont be ignorant.
